Joy Of The Lord

Bible Questions Answered:
“...this wasn't in the index. I am Christian, but were is the happiness everyone talks about, I don't have it, just what are they saying?...”
Jerome/ Madrid, Spain

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Happiness:

Merriam - Webster
A state of well-being and contentment : joy
A pleasurable or satisfying experience

Dictionary.Com
Good fortune; pleasure; contentment; joy.

Wikipedia.Com
A mental or emotional state of well-being defined by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.[

Many today, may say they have no joy, and they don't because they have missed something very important.
The way to happiness is found in the words of our Lord.

Mark 10:17-22 NLT (The rich young ruler.)
17 As Jesus was starting out on His way to Jerusalem, a man came running up to Him, knelt down, and asked, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
18 “Why do you call Me good?” Jesus asked. “Only God is truly good.
19 But to answer your question, you know the commandments: ‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. You must not cheat anyone. Honor your father and mother.’”

20 “Teacher,” the man replied, “I’ve obeyed all these commandments since I was young.”
21 Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” He told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
22 At this the man’s face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions.

Did you see it?
Someone has penned it this way “What we keep, we loose, what we give away, we keep.”

Matthew 16:25 KJV
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it.

The heart does not have room for two treasures. The rich young ruler, kept his riches, but lost the most priceless treasure of all eternity.

Christian People Are Called To, Obey The Lord And Serve Others, Where True Joy Is Always Found:

II Chronicles 30:21,22 NLT (Feast of the unleavened Bread) (Obedience brought great joy.)
21 So the people of Israel who were present in Jerusalem joyously celebrated the Festival of Unleavened Bread for seven days. Each day the Levites and priests sang to The Lord, accompanied by loud instruments.
22 Hezekiah encouraged all the Levites regarding the skill they displayed as they served The Lord. The celebration continued for seven days. Peace offerings were sacrificed, and the people gave thanks to The Lord, The God of their ancestors.

Job 29:13 NLT
I helped those without hope, and they blessed me. And I caused the widows’ hearts to sing for joy.

Psalm 4:7 KJV
Thou hast put gladness in my heart..."

Psalm 126:5,6 KJV (Laboring for the kingdom.)
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Proverbs 14:21 KJV (Obedience = Happiness.)
He that despiseth his neighbor sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.

Proverbs 16:20 KJV (Obedience brings blessings)
"...whoso trusteth in The Lord, happy is he.

Proverbs 29:18 NLT
When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.

Isaiah 58:6-8 KJV (Christian Calling and reward.)
6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of The Lord shall be thy reward.

Isaiah 61:10 KJV (Joy in a life given for Godly service>)
I will greatly rejoice in The Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Matthew 9:36 KJV (Christ our example.)
But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.

Matthew 14:14 KJV
And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick.

Matthew 20:34 KJV
So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.

John 13:15,17 KJV
15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

John 15:10-17 KJV (Christian Joy, comes from serving others.)
10 If ye keep My commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are My friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of My Father I have made known unto you.
16 Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of
The Father in My name, He may give it you.
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Acts 8:5,6,8 KJV (Obedience and service to others, brings great joy!)
5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
8 And there was great joy in that city.

Acts 20:35 KJV (Paul)
I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of The Lord Jesus, how He said, It is more blessed (Happiness) to give than to receive.

Galatians 6:2 KJV (Romans 15:1)
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Hebrews 13:3 KJV
Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

James 1:27 KJV
Pure religion and undefiled before God and The Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

We may search out and obtain, land, houses or treasures, etc. but happiness is not a commodity, place or thing, to be had by seeking.

Happiness is the result of faithful service to others in the name of The Lord.

Vain Search For Happiness:

Job 20:5 NLT
The triumph of the wicked has been short lived and the joy of the godless has been only temporary?

Proverbs 14:13 NLT
Laughter can conceal a heavy heart, but when the laughter ends, the grief remains.

Ecclesiastes 2:10,11 NLT
10 Anything I wanted, I would take. I denied myself no pleasure. I even found great pleasure in hard work, a reward for all my labors.
11 But as I looked at everything I had worked so hard to accomplish, it was all so meaningless—like chasing the wind. There was nothing really worthwhile anywhere.

Ecclesiastes 7:6 NLT
A fool’s laughter is quickly gone, like thorns crackling in a fire. This also is meaningless.

True happiness in only found in loving and serving The Lord.

Nehemiah 8:10,17 KJV (Feast of the Tabernacles.) (Obedience brings joy.)
10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of The Lord is your strength.
17 And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Joshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness.

Bible Text: The Prophecy:

No Sign Given For Non-Believers:
1.) Mark 8:11 KJV (Matthew 16:1-4)
11 And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with Him, seeking of Him a sign from heaven, tempting Him.
12 And He sighed deeply in His Spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

2.) Evil Kingdoms To Be Destroyed:
Matthew 15:13 KJV
But He answered and said, Every plant, which My Heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

3.) Not Seen By Men, And Yet The Kingdom Would Be A Great Kingdom:
Mark 4:26-29 KJV
26 And He said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

Matthew 13:31,32 KJV (Mark 4:30-32/ Luke 13:18,19)
31 Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

Matthew 13:33 KJV (Luke 13:20,21)
Another parable spake He unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Bible Text: The Fulfillment:

Mark 9:1 KJV (Matthew 16:28/ Luke 9:27)
And He said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

2.)1-3) Christ's Kingdom Would Cause Division:
Luke 12:51-53 KJV (Matthew 10:34-36)
51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

3.) 1-3) Believers Have Authority In The Kingdom, As Christ's Ambassadors:
Matthew 16:16-19 KJV
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art The Christ, The Son Of The Living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this Rock (The Christ, Peter spoke of) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee (disciples) the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

SIDEBAR:
This very same promise by Jesus is given to all the other disciples....

John 20:19-23 KJV (The risen Christ.)
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
20 And when He had so said, He shewed unto them His hands and His side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw The Lord.
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you.
22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye
The Holy Ghost:
23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

(With a Bible Concordance, look up the word rock, and realize that the spiritual rock, refers to none other than The Lord Jesus Christ, here are but a few examples...

Despondency - The Spirit Of

Bible Questions Answered Today:
“...many of the people I work with, people I know, are so cynical that they listen to the gospel message with a spirit of criticism....”
Tony/ Seattle, Washington U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Why, is the illicit use of drugs and the use of alcohol only rising, and rising?
There is a spirit of despondency in the land. Having rejected God and His Word, what is there to live for, they have no answers, neither does anyone else, so they reason.

And the Christian, as well, must guard himself against such a spirit of cynicism, and despondency.

Bitterly or sneeringly distrustful, contemptuous, or pessimistic.

He asked them, “What are you discussing so intently as you walk along?” They stopped short, sadness written across their faces

1 The Lord is my Shepherd; I have all that I need.

4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
5 You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

Thanks - Giving

Bible Questions Answered:
“...in the group several people stood to say things like thank God I lost my position, thank God I was sick for three weeks...I have never heard anything so silly, what kind of thing is this...”
Twila/ Hebi, China

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

I Thessalonians 5:18 KJV
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Being thankful for calamities, by the atheist, agnostic or pantheist, would of course be sure lunacy.
But being thankful for calamities, by the Christian, is a whole different ball game. And why is that, it is because for the Christian, there is an all knowing all directing Creator, who is working out all things to favor and to bless His child!

God's Path Of Blessing:

Psalm 25:8-10 NLT
8 The Lord is good and does what is right; He shows the proper path to those who go astray.
9 He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them His Way.
10 The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep His covenant and obey His demands.

Psalm 32:8 KJV
I will instruct thee and teach thee in The Way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with Mine eye.

Psalm 37:23 KJV
The steps of a good man are ordered by The Lord: and He delighteth in his way.

Psalm 48:14 KJV
For this God is our God for ever and ever: He will be our Guide even unto death.

Psalm 73:24 KJV
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Psalm 147:5 KJV
Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite.

Proverbs 16:9 KJV
A man's heart deviseth his way: but The Lord directeth his steps.

Proverbs 20:24 NLT
The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?

Isaiah 30:21 KJV
And thine ears shall hear a Word behind thee, saying, This is The Way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Isaiah 42:16 KJV
And I will bring the blind by A Way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness Light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

Isaiah 46:9,,10 KJV
9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure:

Daniel 2:20 KJV
Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are His:

Luke 1:79 KJV
To give Light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into The Way Of Peace.

Romans 11:33,34 KJV
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the mind of The Lord? or who hath been His counselor?

Answer, no one! Whether good things or bad happen in the life of the Christian, they may give thanks, because, nothing takes our God, by surprise. Before the world was created, He saw us, and designed a pathway for us. Would that pathway be without sorrow? Answer, are we above our Lord?

Matthew 10:24,25 KJV
24 The disciple is not above his Master, nor the servant above his Lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his Master, and the servant as his Lord. If they have called The Master Of The House Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of His household?

Matthew 10:38 KJV
And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after Me, is not worthy of Me.

Matthew 16:24 KJV
Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

The wonderful Truth is that whatever comes our way, as we follow The Lord, He uses as a part of His great design, and He will go with us, whether the mountain top or the valley.

Psalm 23:1-6 KJV
1 The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of The Lord for ever.

The Christian, alone, may exclaim with confidence, “Praise The Lord, whatever comes my way in life, I know that....”

Romans 8:28 KJV
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

Bible Lesson: Prophecies Made By The Lord Jesus: The Call Of The Disciples And Their Reception.

Bible Lesson: Prophecies Made By The Lord Jesus: The Call Of The Disciples And Their Reception.

Bible Text: The Prophecies:

1) Disciples Called To Be Fishers Of Men:

Matthew 4:18,19 KJV (Mark 1:16,17)
18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
19 And He saith unto them, Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Luke 5:9,10 KJV
9 For he (Peter) was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:
10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

2) Disciples Would Meet With Persecution And Hatred.

Matthew 10:17-23 KJV
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but The Spirit Of Your Father which speaketh in you.
21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till The Son Of Man be come.

John 13:16 KJV
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord; neither he that is sent greater than He that sent him.

John 15:20,21 KJV
20 Remember The Word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things will they do unto you for My name's sake, because they know not Him that sent Me.

3) A Faithful Disciple, Has A Loving Father In Heaven.

Luke 12:1-7 KJV (Matthew 10:26-33)
1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, He began to say unto His disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in The Light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
4 And I say unto you My friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear Him, which after He hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear Him.
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

4) Rewards Good Or Bad, According To Works:

Matthew 10:39 KJV
He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for My sake shall find it.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

7) Apostles Would Need Both, Wisdom And Armor:

Luke 22:35 KJV
And He said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

8) Believers Work Would Be Greater Because Of The Resurrected And Glorified Of Christ:

John 5:20 KJV
For The Father loveth The Son, and sheweth Him all things that Himself doeth: and He will shew Him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.

3) A Faithful Disciple, Has A Loving Father In Heaven.

Luke 12:8,9 KJV

42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

6) Apostles Preaching Confirmed By Signs And Power Of The Holy Spirit:

Mark 16:20 KJV
And they went forth, and preached every where, The Lord working with them, and confirming The Word with signs following. Amen.

7) Apostles Would Need Both, Wisdom And Armor:

Luke 22:36 KJV
Then said He unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

8) Believers Work Would Be Greater Because Of The Resurrected And Glorified Of Christ:

Acts 2:38,41 KJV38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of

Acts 9:40 KJV
But Peter put them all forth, and knelled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

The Anvil of God's Word

“Last eve I paused beside the blacksmith’s door,
And heard the anvil ring the vesper chime;
Then looking in, I saw upon the floor,
Old hammers, worn with beating years of time.

“‘How many anvils have you had,’ said I,
‘To wear and batter all these hammers so?’
‘Just one,’ said he, and then with twinkling eye,
‘The anvil wears the hammers out, you know.’

“And so, I thought, the Anvil of God’s Word
For ages skeptic blows have beat upon;
Yet, though the noise of falling blows was heard,
The Anvil is unharmed, the hammers gone.”

Singing To The Lord

Bible Questions Answered:
“Did Jesus ever sing?...”
Dorthy/Chicago, Illinois  U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Yes! Jesus sang the Hallel, with His 11 men at the close of celebrating the last supper (Passover).

Hallel:
A liturgical prayer consisting of all or part of Psalms 113–118, recited on Passover, Shavuoth, Sukkoth, Hanukkah, and Rosh Hodesh.
(Dictionary.Com)

At its close, Psalm 115-118.

Matthew 26:30 KJV
And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

Mark 14:26 KJV
And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

One disciple had betrayed Him, one would soon deny Him, the others would soon run away, and yet our Lord sang these words....

Psalm 116:3,4,8,9,12,13 KJV
3 The sorrows of death compassed Me, and the pains of hell got hold upon Me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4 Then called I upon the name of The Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver My soul.
8 For thou hast delivered My soul from death, Mine eyes from tears, and My feet from falling.
9 I will walk before The Lord in the land of the living.
12 What shall I render unto The Lord for all His benefits toward Me?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon The Name Of The Lord.

Psalm 118:5,6,17, 27-29 KJV
5 I called upon The Lord in distress: The Lord answered Me, and set Me in a large place.
6 The Lord is on My side; I will not fear: what can man do unto Me?
17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of The Lord.
27 God is The Lord, which hath shewed us Light: bind The Sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
28 Thou art My God, and I will praise thee: thou art My God, I will exalt thee.
29 O give thanks unto The Lord; for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.

Singing Unto The Lord:

Zephaniah 3:17 KJV
The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.

Psalm 42:8 KJV
Yet The Lord will command His loving kindness in the day time, and in the night His song shall be with me, and my prayer unto The God of my life.

Psalm 81:1 KJV
Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto The God Of Jacob.

Psalm 149:4-6 KJV
4 For The Lord taketh pleasure in His people: He will beautify the meek with salvation.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth..."

Isaiah 30:29 KJV
Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of The Lord, to
The Mighty One Of Israel.

I Corinthians 14:15 KJV
What is it then? I will pray with The Spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with The Spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

Ephesians 5:18-20 KJV
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with The Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to The Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and The Father in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ;

James 5:13 KJV
Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

Revelation 5:9-14 KJV
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is The Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.
13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto The Lamb for ever and ever.
14 And the four beasts (four living creatures NKJV) said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshiped Him that liveth for ever and ever.

Revelation 15:2-4 NLT
2 I saw before me what seemed to be a glass sea mixed with fire. And on it stood all the people who had been victorious over the beast and his statue and the number representing his name. They were all holding harps that God had given them.
3 And they were singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of The Lamb: “Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, The Almighty. Just and True are your ways, O King Of The Nations.
4 Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed.”

Dear Christian friends, let's keep praising The Lord!

Psalm 95:1 KJV
O come, let us sing unto The Lord: let us make a joyful noise to The Rock Of Our Salvation.

War In Heaven

Bible Questions Answered:
“The bible says Jesus has an army of angels. Is there war in heaven too?...”
Adrena/ Sarasota, Florida U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Matthew 26:53 KJV
Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He shall presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels?

Legion:
The chief subdivision of the Roman army, containing about 6000 infantry, with a contingent of cavalry.
(Smith's Bible Dictionary)

No, there is no war in heaven now, but there is coming a time soon, when there will be!
Yes our Lord, has legions of angelic hosts, He is called The Commander Of The Lord's Army.

Joshua 5:13-15 NLT
13 When Joshua was near the town of Jericho, he looked up and saw A Man standing in front of him with sword in hand. Joshua went up to Him and demanded, “Are you friend or foe?”
14 “Neither one,” He replied. “I am The Commander Of The Lord’s Army.” At this, Joshua fell with his face to the ground in reverence. “I am at your command,” Joshua said. “What do you want your servant to do?”
15 The Commander Of The Lord’s Army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did as he was told.

Our Lord, is The Prince Of Peace, but because of sin, He is also The Commander Of The Lord's Army.
Because of sin, there must of necessity be judgment, and where judgment, enforcement.

Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us A Child is born, unto us A Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father,
The Prince Of Peace.

Jeremiah 12:12 KJV
"... for The Sword Of The Lord shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land..."

Now in heaven, there is one called “The accuser of the brethren.” Let it be of no wonder who this is, for it is Satan.

Accuse:
To blame (someone) for something wrong or illegal : to say that someone is guilty of a fault or crime
(Mewrriam-Webster)

Satan, accuses God's people, of sin and that they deserve judgment.

Zechariah 3:1,2 KJV
1 And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before The Angel Of The Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
2 And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan..."

As Satan sees all the preparation for The Marriage Supper Of The Lamb, in heaven, and its nearing completion, he will do all he can to impede or stop what comes next...and what comes next is “the rapture of Christ's bride the church.” ( I Corinthians 15:51-58/ I Thessalonians 4:13-18 KJV)

Revelation 19:7-9 KJV
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to Him: for The Marriage Of The Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto
The Marriage Supper Of The Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Before The Lord's bride can be called home, Satan and his angels must be cast out.
War in heaven, yes!
This accuser of the brethren, is about to be cast out.

Revelation 12:7-12 KJV
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Heaven cleansed, before the arrival of the bride, and the celebration of The Marriage Supper Of The Lamb.

Revelation 21:10,11,27 KJV
10 And he carried me away in The Spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in
The Lamb's Book Of Life.

Satan, has a man, he has chosen and prepared here on earth, to receive his spirit, the moment he is cast out of heaven. The man prepared and waiting for the spirit of Satan, is a man who will become the Anti-Christ.
For the rapture of the church to be possible at any moment...that man must already exist here on earth and be well known by all.

Dear friends, momentous events are clamoring at the door. The trumpet is about to sound, are you ready to meet The Lord?

Acts 2:21 KJV
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of The Lord shall be saved.

Have you called on The Lord, to be your Savior?

John 5:24 KJV
Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting Life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto Life.

Bible Lesson: Prophecies Made By The Lord Jesus: God's Gift Of The Holy Spirit To Believers.

Bible Lesson: Prophecies Made By The Lord Jesus: God's Gift Of The Holy Spirit To Believers.

Bible Text: The Prophecy:

1.) Christians were to receive The Holy Spirit after The Lord's Ascension and Glorification.

John 7:37-39 KJV
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake He of The Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for
The Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

2.) The Holy Spirit A Comforter to God's people:

John 14:16-18 KJV
16 And I will pray The Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever;
17 Even The Spirit Of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

3.) The Holy Spirit Will Reprove The World.

John 16:7,8 KJV
7 Nevertheless I tell you The Truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, The Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send Him unto you.
8 And when He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

4.) The Holy Spirit Will Guide Believers:

John 16:13 KJV
When The Spirit Of Truth comes, He will guide you into all Truth. He will not speak on His own but will tell you what He has heard. He will tell you about the future.

5.) The Holy Spirit, Given To Believers In Jerusalem:

Luke 24:49 KJV
And, behold, I send The Promise Of My Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with Power from on high.

Bible Text: The Fulfillment:

1.)
A)
Acts 4:31 KJV
And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with The Holy Ghost, and they spake The word Of God with boldness.

B)
Acts 8:14-17 KJV
14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received
The Word Of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive The Holy Ghost:
16 (For as yet He was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of
The Lord Jesus.)
17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received The Holy Ghost.

C)
Acts 10:44-46 KJV
44 While Peter yet spake these words, The Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard The Word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out The Gift Of The Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

2.)
A)
John 14:26 KJV
But The Comforter, which is The Holy Ghost, whom The Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

B)
John 15:26 KJV
But when The Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from The Father, even

Romans 8:26 NLT
And The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But The Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
D)
I John 2:20 KJV
But ye have an unction from The Holy One, and ye know all things.

E)
I John 2:27 NLT
But you have received The Holy Spirit, and He lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true (Truth KJV). For The Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what He teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as He has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.

3.)
A)
John 16:5-16 NLT
5 “But now I am going away to The One who sent Me, and not one of you is asking where I am going.
6 Instead, you grieve because of what I’ve told you.
7 But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, The Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send Him to you.
8 And when He comes, He will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.
9 The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in Me.
10 Righteousness is available because I go to The Father, and you will see Me no more.
11 Judgment will come because the ruler of this world has already been judged.
12 “There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now.
13 When The Spirit Of Truth comes, He will guide you into all Truth. He will not speak on His own but will tell you what He has heard. He will tell you about the future.
14 He will bring Me glory by telling you whatever He receives from Me.
15 All that belongs to The Father is Mine; this is why I said, ‘The Spirit will tell you whatever He receives from Me.’

B)
Hebrews 12:6, 7 KJV
6 For whom The Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom
The Father chasteneth not?

C)
Hebrews 12:9-11 KJV
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto The Father Of Spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but He for our profit, that we might be partakers of His Holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

4.)
A)
John 16:25 KJV
These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of The Father.

B)
