Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
In
these “last days,” Christians are under much spiritual duress.
To take a Christian stand against evil, requires perseverance! Our
Lord, has promised strength for those who are faithful to Him.
Isaiah 40:28-31 KJV (I
Chronicles 16:11)
28
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that
The
Everlasting God, The Lord, The Creator Of The Ends Of The Earth,
fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His
understanding.
29
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He
increaseth strength.
30
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall
utterly fall:
31
But they that wait upon The Lord shall renew their strength; they
shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be
weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

to the end shall be saved.

John

in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself,
except it abide in The Vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me.

they strengthened the believers. They encouraged them to continue in
the faith, reminding them that we must suffer many hardships to enter
the Kingdom of God.
Romans
2:7 NLT
He
will give eternal Life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after
the glory and honor and immortality that God offers.
Romans
5:3-5 NLT
3 We
can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know
that they help us develop endurance.
4
And endurance develops strength of character, and character
strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
5
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly
God loves us, because He has given us The Holy Spirit to fill our
hearts with His love.
Romans
8:37-39 KJV
37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that
loved us.
38
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans
12:11,12 KJV

Corinthians 10:13 NLT
The

I

through every circumstance.
I
Corinthians 15:1 NLT
1
Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of The Good News I
preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand
firm in it.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always
work enthusiastically for The Lord, for you know that nothing you do
for The Lord is ever useless.

the wiles of the devil.

Colossians
1:11,12 KJV
11
Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto
all patience and long suffering with joyfulness;
12
Giving thanks unto The Father, which hath made us meet to be
partakers of the inheritance of the saints in Light:
II
Thessalonians 1:4 NLT
We
proudly tell God’s other churches about your endurance and
faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are suffering.
I
Thessalonians 1:3 KJV
Remembering
without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience
of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
II
Thessalonians 2:15-17 KJV
15
Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye
have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16
Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, which
hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good
hope through grace,
17
Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.
II
Thessalonians 3:5,13 NLT
5
May The Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and
expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes
from Christ.
13
As for the rest of you, dear brothers and sisters, never get tired of
doing good.
I
Timothy 4:16 KJV
Take
heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in
doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
I
Timothy 6:12 KJV
Fight
the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal Life, whereunto thou art
also called, and hast professed a good profession before many
witnesses.
II
Timothy 2:12 KJV
If
we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: if we deny Him, He also will
deny us:
II
Timothy 4:7,8 KJV
7 I
have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the
faith:
8
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which
The Lord, The Righteous Judge, shall give me at that day: and not to
me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.
Hebrews
3:6,14 NLT
6
But Christ, as The Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we
are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our
hope in Christ.
14
For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as
when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.
Hebrews
6:11 KJV
And
we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the
full assurance of hope unto the end:
Hebrews
10:23,36 NLT
23
Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God
can be trusted to keep His promise.
36
Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to
do God’s will. Then you will receive all that He has promised.
Hebrews
12:1-4 KJV
1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so
easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set
before us,
2
Looking unto Jesus The Author And Finisher Of Our Faith; who for the
joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame,
and is set down at The Right Hand Of The Throne Of God.
3
For consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against
Himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
4 Ye
have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
James
1:2-4,12 KJV
2 My
brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and
entire, wanting nothing.
12
God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation.
Afterward they will receive the crown of Life that God has promised
to those who love Him.
James 5:11 KJV
Behold,
we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of
Job, and have seen the end of The Lord; that The Lord is very
pitiful, and of tender mercy.
II
Peter 1:5-10 NLT
5 In
view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises.
Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence,
and moral excellence with knowledge,
6
and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient
endurance, and patient endurance with Godliness,
7
and Godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with
love for everyone.
8
The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will
be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9
But those who fail to develop in this way are shortsighted or blind,
forgetting that they have been cleansed from their old sins.
10
So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are
among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will
never fall away.
11
Then God will give you a grand entrance into the eternal Kingdom of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I
John 2:27 KJV
But
the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye
need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth
you of all things, and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath
taught you, ye shall abide in Him.
Revelation
2:2,3,19 NLT
2 “I
know all the things you do. I have seen your hard work and your
patient endurance. I know you don’t tolerate evil people. You have
examined the claims of those who say they are apostles but are not.
You have discovered they are liars.
3
You have patiently suffered for Me without quitting.
19
“I know all the things you do. I have seen your love, your faith,
your service, and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant
improvement in all these things.
Revelation
3:10,11 NLT
10
Because you have obeyed My command to persevere, I will protect you
from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to
test those who belong to this world.
11 I
am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take
away your crown.
Revelation
14:12 KJV
Here
is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the
commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
The presence of The lord, and His rewards, belong to the one who
perseveres, in the faith!
Ephesians
6:10-18 KJV (Seven-fold Protection)
10
Finally, my brethren, be strong in The Lord, and in the power of
His might.
11
Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against
the wiles of the devil.
12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of
this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13
Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able
to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth,
and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye
shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword
of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the
Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication
for all saints;
Prayer:
Oh Lord, help me to be a warrior for you, standing firmly upon your
Word.
I
Timothy 6:12 KJV
Fight
the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal Life, whereunto thou art
also called, and hast professed a good profession before many
witnesses.

Bible Questions Answered:
“...I loaned a friend my car, a
couple days, just to take a trip to a small neighboring town, to see
his sister, so he told me, but after I had gotten my car back and was
going to fill the tank. I noticed that the odometer had gone up some
420 miles. What is this, an out right lie....

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
Jeremiah 9:5 NLT
They all fool
and defraud each other; no one tells The Truth. With practiced
tongues they tell lies; they wear themselves out with all their
sinning.
This is what The Bible calls deception.
The enemy told Eve, “ye shall not surely die, (Genesis 3:4)”
he is a deceiver.
John
8:44 KJV
Ye
are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will
do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in The Truth,
because there is no Truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh
of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
II John 1:7 KJV
For many deceivers are entered into
the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.
This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
Revelation 12:9 KJV
And
the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil,
and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the
earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Deception:
Deuteronomy
25:13-16 KJV
13
Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.
14
Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a
small.
15
But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just
measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land
which The Lord thy God giveth thee.
16
For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an
abomination unto The Lord thy God.
Psalm
24:3-5 KJV
3
Who shall ascend into the hill of The Lord? or who shall stand in His
holy place?
4 He
that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his
soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He
shall receive the blessing from The Lord, and righteousness from the
God of his salvation.
Psalm
101:7 ESV
No
one who practices deceit shall dwell in My house; no one who utters
lies shall continue before My eyes.
Proverbs
14:8 KJV
The
wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of
fools is deceit.
Proverbs
24:28 KJV
Be
not a witness against thy neighbor without cause; and deceive not
with thy lips.
Jeremiah
17:9,10 KJV
9
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who
can know it?
10 I
The Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man
according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Jeremiah
49:16 KJV
Thy
terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou
that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of
the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I
will bring thee down from thence, saith The Lord.
Matthew
7:15-23 KJV
15
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but
inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns,
or figs of thistles?
17
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree
bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A
good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree
bring forth good fruit.
19
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast
into the fire.
20
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21
Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is
in heaven.
22
Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied
in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name
done many wonderful works?
23
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me,
ye that work iniquity.
Matthew
23:13-15 KJV
13
But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up
the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves,
neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour
widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye
shall receive the greater damnation.
15
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea
and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him
twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
Matthew
24:4-5,24 KJV
4
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive
you.
5
For many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and shall
deceive many.
24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall
shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect.
John
8:31,32 KJV
31
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue
in My Word, then are ye My disciples indeed;
32
And ye shall know The Truth, and The Truth shall make you free.
I
Corinthians 6:9,10 NLT
9
Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the
Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual
sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male
prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,
10
or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or
cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.
II
Corinthians 11:3,13-15 NLT
But
I fear that somehow your pure and undivided devotion to Christ will
be corrupted, just as Eve was deceived by the cunning ways of the
serpent.
13
These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who
disguise themselves as apostles of Christ.
14
But I am not surprised! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of
light.
15
So it is no wonder that his servants also disguise themselves as
servants of righteousness. In the end they will get the punishment
their wicked deeds deserve.
Galatians
6:1-3,7 KJV
1
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual,
restore such an one in The Spirit Of Meekness; considering thyself,
lest thou also be tempted.
2
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he
deceiveth himself.
7 Do
not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he
will also reap.
Ephesians
5:6 KJV
Let
no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the
wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
II
Thessalonians 2:3,8-12 KJV (Coming Deception)
3
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come,
except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be
revealed, the son of perdition;
8
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom The Lord shall consume
with The Spirit Of His Mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness
of His coming:
9
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power
and signs and lying wonders,
10
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;
because they received not the love of The Truth, that they might be
saved.
11
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they
should believe a lie:
12
That they all might be damned who believed not The Truth, but had
pleasure in unrighteousness.
I
Timothy 4:1,2 KJV
1
Now The Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some
shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and
doctrines of devils;
2
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot
iron;
II
Timothy 3:12,13 KJV
12
Yea, and all that will live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer
persecution.
13
But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and
being deceived.
James
1:22 KJV
But
be ye doers of The Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own
selves.
II Peter 2:1-22 NLT (The Danger of False Teachers)
1
But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be
false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive
heresies and even deny The Master who bought them. In this way, they
will bring sudden destruction on themselves.
2
Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And
because of these teachers, the way of Truth will be slandered.
3 In
their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money.
But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be
delayed.
4
For God did not spare even the angels who sinned. He threw them into
hell, in gloomy pits of darkness, where they are being held until the
day of judgment.
5
And God did not spare the ancient world—except for Noah and the
seven others in his family. Noah warned the world of God’s
righteous judgment. So God protected Noah when he destroyed the world
of ungodly people with a vast flood.
6
Later, God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them
into heaps of ashes. He made them an example of what will happen to
ungodly people.
7
But God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man
who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around
him.
8
Yes, Lot was a righteous man who was tormented in his soul by the
wickedness he saw and heard day after day.
9 So
you see, The Lord knows how to rescue Godly people from their trials,
even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final
judgment.
10
He is especially hard on those who follow their own twisted sexual
desire, and who despise authority. These people are proud and
arrogant, daring even to scoff at supernatural beings without so much
as trembling.
11
But the angels, who are far greater in power and strength, do not
dare to bring from The Lord a charge of blasphemy against those
supernatural beings.
12
These false teachers are like unthinking animals, creatures of
instinct, born to be caught and destroyed. They scoff at things they
do not understand, and like animals, they will be destroyed.
13
Their destruction is their reward for the harm they have done. They
love to indulge in evil pleasures in broad daylight. They are a
disgrace and a stain among you. They delight in deception even as
they eat with you in your fellowship meals.
14
They commit adultery with their eyes, and their desire for sin is
never satisfied. They lure unstable people into sin, and they are
well trained in greed. They live under God’s curse.
15
They have wandered off the right road and followed the footsteps of
Balaam son of Beor, who loved to earn money by doing wrong.
16
But Balaam was stopped from his mad course when his donkey rebuked
him with a human voice.
17
These people are as useless as dried-up springs or as mist blown away
by the wind. They are doomed to blackest darkness.
18
They brag about themselves with empty, foolish boasting. With an
appeal to twisted sexual desires, they lure back into sin those who
have barely escaped from a lifestyle of deception.
19
They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and
corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you.
20
And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved
by sin again, they are worse off than before.
21
It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness
than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a
holy life.
22
They prove The Truth of this proverb: “A dog returns to its vomit.”
And another says, “A washed pig returns to the mud.”
I
John 1:8 KJV
If
we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and The Truth is
not in us.
I
John 2:24-27 NLT
24
So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the
beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with
The
Son and with The Father.
25
And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life He promised us.
26 I
am writing these things to warn you about those who want to lead you
astray.
27
But you have received The Holy Spirit, and He lives within you, so
you don’t need anyone to teach you what is True. For
The
Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what He teaches
is true—it is not a lie. So just as He has taught you, remain in
fellowship with Christ.
I
John 4:1-3 KJV
1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they
are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2
Hereby know ye The Spirit Of God: Every spirit that confesseth that
Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the
flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of Antichrist, whereof
ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the
world.
Revelation
13:11-14 KJV (Coming Deception)
11
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two
horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12
And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and
causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first
beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13
And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from
heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14
And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those
miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying
to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to
the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Our enemy, is a deceiver. He and his emissaries, may disguise
themselves as angels of light, but really they are darkened spirits
of monstrous evil, but we need not live in fear!
I
John 4:4 KJV
Ye
are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater
is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Prayer:
Psalm
91:1-16 NLT
1
Those who live in the shelter of The Most High will find rest in the
shadow of The Almighty.
2
This I declare about The Lord: He alone is my Refuge, my place of
Safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.
3
For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly
disease.
4 He
will cover you with His feathers. He will shelter you with His wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do
not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies
in the day.
6 Do
not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that
strikes at midday.

Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying
around you, these evils will not touch you.
8
Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.
9 If
you make The Lord your Refuge, if you make the Most High your
Shelter,
10
no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.
11
For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go.
12
They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your
foot on a stone.
13
You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions
and serpents under your feet!
(Spiritual foes- for example - I Peter 5:8)
14
The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect
those who trust in My name.
15
When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue and honor them.
16 I
will reward them with a long life and give them My salvation.”

Bible Lesson: Cherished Promises To The Child Of God: Obedient Hearers Of The Word.
Bible Lesson: Cherished Promises To
The Child Of God: Obedient Hearers Of The Word.
Bible Text:
Matthew 7:24,25 KJV
24 Therefore
whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them, I will liken
him unto a wise man, which built his house upon A Rock:
25 And the rain
descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon
that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon A Rock.
The Lord's Request:
Therefore
whosoever heareth these sayings of Mine, and doeth them
The Lord's Promise:
And the rain
descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon
that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon A Rock.
A man may be known
as a living Bible, with the ability to quote chapters of scriptures,
but friends, that by itself, means nothing!
Some individuals
are known to have what is called a photographic memory, with the
ability to perfectly recall much, with little effort. What does it
mean? It means they have a gift, of recall, and that's all.
The questions
today is, we hear The Word, we may be able to quote The Word, but do
we live by The Word?
James 1:22-25 NLT
22 But don’t
just listen to God’s Word. You must do what it says.
Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
23 For if you
listen to The Word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face
in a mirror.
24 You see
yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like.
25 But if you
look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you
do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will
bless you for doing it.
Matthew 7:21-23
NLT True Disciples
21 “Not
everyone who calls out to Me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the
Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of My
Father in heaven will enter.
22 On judgment
day many will say to Me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name
and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your
name.’
23 But I will
reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who break God’s
laws.’
Matthew 7:15-20
NLT The Tree and Its Fruit
15 “Beware of
false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really
vicious wolves.
16 You can
identify them by their fruit, that is, by the way they act. Can you
pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?
17 A good tree
produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit.
18 A good tree
can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit.
19 So every
tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into
the fire.
20 Yes, just as
you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by
their actions.
Obedient
Hearers Of The Word:
Exodus 19:5 KJV
Now therefore,
if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall
be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is
mine:
Deuteronomy 5:33
KJV
Ye shall walk
in all the ways which The Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye
may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong
your days in the land which ye shall possess.
Deuteronomy 11:1
KJV
Therefore thou
shalt love The Lord thy God, and keep His charge, and His statutes,
and His judgments, and His commandments, alway.
Deuteronomy 28:1
KJV
And it shall
come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of The
Lord thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments which I
command thee this day, that The Lord thy God will set thee on high
above all nations of the earth:
Joshua 1:8 KJV
This Book Of
The Law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate
therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to
all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way
prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Joshua 5:6 ESV
For the people
of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, until all the nation,
the men of war who came out of Egypt, perished, because they did not
obey the voice of The Lord;
The Lord swore
to them that He would not let them see the land that The Lord had
sworn to their fathers to give to us, a land flowing with milk and
honey.
I Kings 2:3 KJV
And keep the
charge of The Lord thy God, to walk in His ways, to keep His
statutes, and His commandments, and His judgments, and His
testimonies, as it is written in The Law Of Moses, that thou mayest
prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest
thyself:
Proverbs 10:17
NLT
People who
accept discipline are on the pathway to Life, but those who ignore
correction will go astray.
Ezekiel 33:31
NLT
So My people
come pretending to be sincere and sit before you. They listen to your
words, but they have no intention of doing what you say. Their mouths
are full of lustful words, and their hearts seek only after money.
Matthew 4:4 KJV
But He answered
and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 12:50
KJV
For whosoever
shall do the will of My Father which is in heaven, the same is My
brother, and sister, and mother.
Matthew 24:44-51 NKJV The Faithful Servant and the Evil
Servant
44 Therefore
you also be ready, for The Son Of Man is coming at an hour you do not
expect.
45 “Who then
is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his
household, to give them food in due season?
46 Blessed is
that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.
47 Assuredly, I
say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But if that
evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’
49 and begins
to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,
50 the master
of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and
at an hour that he is not aware of,
51 and will cut
him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There
shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 28:20
NLT
Teach these new
disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of
this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Luke 6:46 KJV
And why call ye
Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Luke 8:21 KJV
And He answered
and said unto them, My mother and My brethren are these which hear
The Word Of God, and do it.
Luke 9:23 KJV
And He said to
them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and
take up his cross daily, and follow Me.
Luke 11:28 KJV Jesus
But He said,
Yea rather, blessed are they that hear
The Word Of
God, and keep it.
John 13:17 KJV
If ye know
these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
John 14:15,23
KJV
15 If ye love
me, keep my commandments.
23 Jesus
answered and said unto him, If a man love Me, he will keep My words:
and My Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our
abode with him.
John 15:14 KJV
Ye are My
friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Acts 5:32 NLT
We are
witnesses of these things and so is The Holy Spirit, who is given by
God to those who obey Him.”
Romans 2:5-8,13
NLT
5 But because
you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up
terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when
God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.
6 He will judge
everyone according to what they have done.
7 He will give
eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory
and honor and immortality that God offers. 8 But He will pour out His
anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey
The Truth and instead live lives of wickedness.
13 For merely
listening to the law doesn’t make us right with God. It is obeying
the law that makes us right in His sight.
Romans 12:1 KJV
I beseech you
therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your
reasonable service.
Hebrews 10:25
KJV
Not forsaking
the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but
exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day
approaching.
James 1:22 KJV
But be ye doers
of The Word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
James 2:14-26 NLT Faith without Good Deeds Is Dead
14 What good is
it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t
show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone?
15 Suppose you
see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing,
16 and you say,
“Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then
you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does
that do?
17 So you see,
faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is
dead and useless.
18 Now someone
may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But
I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good
deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”
19 You say you
have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even
the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.
20 How foolish!
Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?
21 Don’t you
remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by
his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?
22 You see, his
faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith
complete.
23 And so it
happened just as the Scriptures say: “Abraham believed God, and God
counted him as righteous because of his faith.” He was even called
the friend of God.
24 So you see,
we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.
25 Rahab the
prostitute is another example. She was shown to be right with God by
her actions when she hid those messengers and sent them safely away
by a different road.
26 Just as the
body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good
works.
James 4:7 KJV
Submit
yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from
you.
I Peter 1:14-16
NLT
14 So you must
live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old
ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any
better then.
15 But now you
must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.
16 For the
Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”
I John 3:21,22
KJV
21 Beloved, if
our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22 And
whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His
commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
II John 1:6 KJV
And this is
love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment,
That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
Revelation 1:3
NLT
God blesses the
one who reads the words of this prophecy to the church, and He
blesses all who listen to its message and obey what it says, for the
time is near.
Revelation 2:26
NLT
To all who are
victorious, who obey Me to the very end, To them I will give
authority over all the nations.
Revelation 22:7
NLT
“Look, I am
coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written
in this book.”
Prayer:
II Peter 3:9 KJV
The Lord is not slack concerning His
promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to
us-ward, not willing that any should
perish, but that all should come to repentance.
I John 1:8-10
KJV
8 If we say that we have no sin, we
deceive ourselves, and The Truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, He is
Faithful and Just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not
sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.

Bad Things Happening To Good People.
Bible Questions Answered:
“Why do evil things happen to people
who are good Christian people? People who are faithful to church and
god?...”
Emily/ Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
U.S.A.
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts;
This has, from the very beginning been a
perplexing question, and the reasons no doubt may be various.
- God is teaching us a lesson, patience, trust, faith, etc. etc.
- God is disciplining us.
- God is using the fire of affliction to try us, so that we come forth as pure gold.
- God is causing us to totally rely upon Him.
- God is revealing His timing .
- God is showing the enemy, our faith is real.
- Etc. etc. etc.
What we do know, going through any
trial, is...
Romans 8:28 KJV
“... that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called
according to His purpose.
Romans 11:33 KJV
33 O the depth of the riches both of
the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments,
and His ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the mind of
The Lord? or who hath been His counselor?
Isaiah 40:28 KJV
Hast thou not known? hast thou not
heard, that
The Everlasting God, The Lord, The
Creator Of The Ends Of The Earth, fainteth not, neither is weary?
there is no searching of His understanding.
Isaiah 55:8,9
KJV
8 For My thoughts are not your
thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith The Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than
the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than
your thoughts.
Now
here is a thought, not perceived by some...”God does not owe
anyone, explanation, for what He sees fit to do!'
The Captain Of The Lord Of Hosts, is never under obligation to
explain His actions,
tis a soldiers duty, but to obey His charge.
Life Is But A Weaving
My life is but a weaving
Between my God and me.
I cannot choose the colors
He weaveth steadily.
Oft’ times He weaveth sorrow;
And I in foolish pride
Forget He sees the upper
And I the underside.
Not ’til the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Will God unroll the canvas
And reveal the reason why.
The dark threads are as needful
In the weaver’s skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned

I Corinthians 10:13 GNT
Every test that
you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But
God keeps His promise, and He will not allow you to be tested beyond
your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, He
will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a
way out.
Prayer:

Though
He slay me, yet will I trust in Him..."

Offer
the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in The Lord.

Steadfastness
Bible Questions Answered:
“...do you have
to be perfect...?
Ronny/ Vilparaiso,
Indiana U.S.A.
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
No, we will never
reach perfection in this life, but doing our very best, we must. How
could we do any less for The One who has given His all for you and
me?
Thousands of
individuals around our world, unknown by us, suffer and die every
year, because they are Christians. What does our faith cost us? Are
we daily taking up our cross and following the Savior?
Matthew 10:22 KJV
And ye shall be
hated of all men for My name's sake: but he that endureth to the end
shall be saved.
Daily- Christian Persecution:
322 Christian people killed because of their faith.
(7,100 Martyrs in 2016)
312 Christian Churches and buildings destroyed.
(2,400 churches burnt in 2016)
722 Acts of violence against Christian people. Rapes, beatings,
arrests, abductions etc.
The Pew Research Center, over 75% of the world’s population lives

The United States Department of State, Christians in more than 60
countries face persecution from their governments or surrounding
neighbors because of their belief in Jesus Christ.
Salvation is absolutely free, and unearned, and yet discipleship
will cost you everything!
Job 11:13-15 KJV
13 If thou
prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward Him;
14 If iniquity
be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in
thy tabernacles.
15 For then
shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be
steadfast, and shalt not fear:
Job 23:11 KJV
My foot hath
held His steps, His way have I kept, and not declined.
Psalm 57:7 ESV
My heart is
steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody!
Psalm 112:6,7
NASB
6 For he will
never be shaken; The righteous will be remembered forever.
7 He will not
fear evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in The Lord.
Isaiah 26:3 NASB
The steadfast
of mind You will keep in perfect peace, Because he trusts in You.
Luke 14:25-30,33 NLT Jesus
25 A large
crowd was following Jesus. He turned around and said to them,
26 “If you
want to be My disciple, you must, by comparison, hate everyone
else—your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and
sisters—yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be My
disciple.
27 And if you
do not carry your own cross and follow Me, you cannot be My disciple.
28 “But don’t
begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a
building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough
money to finish it?
29 Otherwise,
you might complete only the foundation before running out of money,
and then everyone would laugh at you.
30 They would
say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t
afford to finish it!’
33 So you
cannot become My disciple without giving up everything you own.
Acts 2:42 KJV
And they
continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and
in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Acts 11:23,24
NLT
23 When he
arrived and saw this evidence of God’s blessing, he was filled with
joy, and he encouraged the believers to stay true to the Lord.
24 Barnabas was
a good man, full of The Holy Spirit and strong in faith. And many
people were brought to The Lord.
Romans 5:3-5 NLT
3 We can
rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that
they help us develop endurance.
4 And endurance
develops strength of character, and character strengthens our
confident hope of salvation.
5 And this hope
will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us,
because He has given us The Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His
love.
I Corinthians
4:1,2 KJV
1 Let a man so
account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the
mysteries of God.
2 Moreover it
is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
I Corinthians

be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint
not.
Ephesians
4:13,14 KJV
13 Till we all
come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of The Son Of
God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the
fullness of Christ:
14 That we
henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about
with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning
craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Philippians 1:27
KJV
Only let your
conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I
come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that
ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the
faith of The Gospel;
Colossians 2:5
KJV
For though I be
absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in The Spirit, joying and
beholding your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.
I Thessalonians
1:1-3 ESV
1 Paul,
Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God The
Father and The Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace.
2 We give
thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our
prayers,
3 remembering
before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and
steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.
II Thessalonians
2:2,3,15 NLT
2 Don’t be so
easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that
the day of The
Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to
have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly
from us.
3 Don’t be
fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a
great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is
revealed—the one who brings destruction.
15 With all
these things in mind, dear brothers and sisters, stand firm and keep
a strong grip on the teaching we passed on to you both in person and
by letter.

rightly dividing the word of Truth.
Hebrews 3:14 KJV
For we are made
partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our
confidence steadfast unto the end;
Hebrews
10:23,35,36 KJV
23 Let us hold
fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is
faithful that promised;)
35 Cast not
away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of
reward.
36 For ye have
need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might
receive the promise.
James 1:12 KJV
Blessed is the
man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive
the crown of Life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love
Him.
I Peter 5:8,9
KJV
8 Be sober, be
vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion,
walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist
steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are
accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
II Peter 1:5-7
ESV
5 For this very
reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and
virtue with knowledge,
6 and knowledge
with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and
steadfastness with Godliness,
7 and Godliness
with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.
II Peter 3:17

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware
lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from
your own steadfastness.
Prayer:
Oh Lord, in the faithful, loving example you have given to us, help
us to be steadfast until the end!
I Corinthians

for ever..."
Great
Is Thy Faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father
There is no shadow of turning with Thee
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been, Thou for ever will be
Chorus;
Great is thy faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed thy hand hath provided
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To thy great faithfulness, mercy and love
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside
