Bible Questions Answered: Reincarnation-Part II

Bible Questions Answered:
Does not the Bible teach reincarnations?
Ashok /Bombay, India

Bible Answers:
Reincarnation: Rebirth of the soul in another body. (Transmigration or Cyclic Rebirth) The soul reappears after death in another, different body. (New World Dictionary)
The belief that successive rebirths purges one of sin.

Those who hold to reincarnation usually use the following scriptures:

Matthew 11:12-14 KJV
[12] And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
[13] For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
[14] And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

Reincarnationists, claim that John the Baptist, was the reincarnation of Elijah, the prophet.
But there is a problem with that kind of thinking in light of ….

Luke 1:13-17 KJV
[13] But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
[14] And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
[15] For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
[16] And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
[17] And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Was John, Elijah?

John 1:19-21 KJV (John's own words.)
[19] And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?
[20] And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.
[21] And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.

And also used is this verse in John …

John 3:3 KJV
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born again
, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Here the words, “Born Again,” do not under any circumstances refer to reincarnation, but spiritual rebirth!

John 3:5,6 KJV
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water
and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

The Word of God's Answer to reincarnation:

Luke 16:19-23 KJV (see the rest of the story-verse 31) This is not a parable, Christ used the name of Lazarus.
[19] There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
[20] And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
[21] And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
[22] And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom:
the rich man also died, and was buried;

[23] And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

This true story was told by Jesus Christ, as to the certainty of life after death, and it's immediate rewards.

II Corinthians 5:8 KJV (The Apostle Paul.)
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Philippians 1:21-23 KJV (The Apostle Paul)
[21] For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
[22] But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not.
[23] For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

Hebrews 9:21 KJV
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Redemption is not by being reborn over and over again, but by the blood of Jesus Christ:

Colossians 1:13,14;20 KJV
[13] Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
[14] In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
[20] And, having made peace through the Blood of His Cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

I Peter 1:18,19 KJV
[18] Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
[19] But with the Precious Blood of Christ, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot:

I John 1:7,9 KJV
[7] But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.
[9] If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 6:23 KJV
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Acts 17:30,31 KJV
[30] And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
[31] Because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead.

[11] And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
[12] And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
[13] And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
[14] And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
[15] And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
[16] And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.

[27] And He said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
[28] And He said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
[29] And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And He said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after My name? And He blessed him there.
[30] And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

[18] And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
[19] And He said, I will make all My Goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
[20] And He said, Thou canst not see My face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
[21] And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by Me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:
[22] And it shall come to pass, while My Glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with My hand while I pass by:
[23] And I will take away Mine hand, and thou shalt see My back parts: but My face shall not be seen.

[7] If ye had known Me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him.
[8] Philip saith unto Him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
[9] Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known Me, Philip? he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
[10] Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself: but the Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works.
[11] Believe Me that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me: or else believe Me for the very works' sake.

Revelation 4:2,3 KJV (John saw a form of light)
[2] And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
[3] And He that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

Revelation 22:1-(verse 4)-20 KJV
[1] And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
[2] In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
[3] And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him:
[4] And they shall see His face; and His name shall be in their foreheads.
[5] And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
[6] And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to shew unto His servants the things which must shortly be done.
[7] Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
[8] And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
[9] Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
[10] And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
[11] He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
[12] And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
[13] I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
[14] Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
[15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
[16] I Jesus have sent Mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the Bright and Morning Star.
[17] And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
[18] For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
[19] And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
[20] He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Bible Questions Answered: Ascension-From Where

Bible Questions Answered:
I see a Bible contradiction in the ascension of Christ. In Luke 24:50,51, and in Acts 1:9-12.
The scripture in Luke says he ascended from Bethany, and the scripture in acts, says he ascended up from the Mount of Olives!
Jerald/ Colorado Springs, Colorado

Bible Answers:
Luke 24:50,51 KJV
[50] And He led them out as far as to Bethany, and He lifted up His hands, and blessed them.
[51] And it came to pass, while He blessed them, He was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

Acts 1:9-12 KJV
[9] And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
[10] And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
[11] Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
[12] Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

The scriptural version in Luke and Acts, could hardly differ, seeing the same author (Luke) wrote both.
The village of Bethany, was situated on the eastern slope of the Mount of Olives. (These facts from, Smith's Bible Dictionary)

Mark 1:11 KJV
And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and
Bethany, at the mount of Olives,
He sendeth forth two of His disciples,

Luke 19:29 KJV
And it came to pass, when He was come nigh to Bethphage and
Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples,

Christ's ascension was from Bethany, situated on the Mount of Olives.

Symbols Of Biblical Characters: James The Less

Symbols Of Biblical Characters: James the Less.
Church Symbol: Club (bat), a vertical saw with it's handle upward.

James the Less: (Perhaps younger than Christ's other disciple named James, the son of Zebedee, or less in stature, Mark 15:40 "...James the less...").

Less is known of James the son of Alphaeus, and thus his name.

James was one of the twelve disciples (Matthew 10:3/ Mark 3:18/ Luke 6:15/ Acts 1:13).

James was present in the Upper Room at Jerusalem.

Both Matthew and James are said to have been sons of Alphaeus, and so, brothers,
Matthew 10:3
Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;

Mark 2:14
And as he passed by, he saw Levi (Matthew) the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

Tradition states that James was thrown from the temple, by the pharisees and Scribes, then stoned and beaten to death with a fuller's club. (Smith's Bible Dictionary)

Bible Questions Answered: Demons-What are

Bible Questions Answered:
What are demon people?
Shelly/ London, England/ U.K.

Bible Answers:
Ephesians 6:12 KJV
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Principalities: The rank, dignity, or jurisdiction of a prince (The territory ruled by a prince.) New World Dictionary
Two, Principalities are mentioned, the Prince of Persia (Iran), and the Prince of Greece.

Satan, has divided our world up into to principalities, with his evil princes reigning over them, and their hoards of evil spirits under them.

Powers: Evil spirit beings.

Rulers of the darkness of this world: Evil generals in the spirit realm, that answer to Satan.

Wickedness in High Places: Ranks of evil beings.
Many believe these are evil spirits assigned to institutions of religious worship or education, and they base that upon the fact that in the Word of God, High Places generally refers to places where idol worship were carried out.
Godless, seminaries, churches, schools, universities, cults, demon worship etc.

II Corinthians 4:3-5 KJV
[3] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
[4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
[5] For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

II Corinthians 11:13-15 KJV
[13] For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
[14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
[15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Demon worship:
(The Jews)

Deuteronomy 32:15-18 NLT
15 But Israel soon became fat and unruly; the people grew heavy, plump, and stuffed! Then they abandoned the God who had made them; they made light of the Rock of their salvation.
16 They stirred up His jealousy by worshiping foreign gods; they provoked His fury with detestable deeds.
17 They offered sacrifices to demons, which are not God, to gods they had not known before, to new gods only recently arrived, to gods their ancestors had never feared.
18 You neglected the Rock who had fathered you; you forgot the God who had given you birth.

Psalm 106:37-38 KJV
[37] Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, (Children's lives Aborted, centuries before Christ, an old Satanic plot.)
[38] And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

(Gentiles)
I Corinthians 10:20-21 KJV
[20] But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
[21] Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

Ephesians 6:12 NLT
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Ephesians 6:12 AMP
For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

Evil opposing forces:

Daniel 10:10-21 KJV
[10] And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
[11] And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
[12] Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
[13] But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
[14] Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.
[15] And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
[16] And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
[17] For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
[18] Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
[19] And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
[20] Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
[21] But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

Daniel 10:10-21 NLT
10 Just then a hand touched me and lifted me, still trembling, to my hands and knees.
11 And the man said to me, “Daniel, you are very precious to God, so listen carefully to what I have to say to you. Stand up, for I have been sent to you.” When he said this to me, I stood up, still trembling.
12 Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.
13 But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with
the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia.

14 Now I am here to explain what will happen to your people in the future, for this vision concerns a time yet to come.”
15 While he was speaking to me, I looked down at the ground, unable to say a word.
16 Then the one who looked like a man touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing in front of me, “I am filled with anguish because of the vision I have seen, my lord, and I am very weak.
17 How can someone like me, your servant, talk to you, my lord? My strength is gone, and I can hardly breathe.”
18 Then the one who looked like a man touched me again, and I felt my strength returning.
19 “Don’t be afraid,” he said, “for you are very precious to God. Peace! Be encouraged! Be strong!”As he spoke these words to me, I suddenly felt stronger and said to him, “Please speak to me, my lord, for you have strengthened me.”
20 He replied, “Do you know why I have come? Soon I must return to fight against
the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia, and after that
the spirit prince of the kingdom of Greece will come.

21 Meanwhile, I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. (No one helps me against these spirit princes except Michael, your spirit prince.

Satan, called the Prince of this world.

John 12:31 KJV
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

John 14:30 KJV
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in Me.

John 16:8-11 KJV
[8] And when He (God the Holy Spirit) is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
[9] Of sin, because they believe not on Me;
[10] Of righteousness, because I go to My Father, and ye see Me no more;
[11] Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Satan, called the “God of this world.”

II Corinthians 4:3,4 KJV
[3] But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
[4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Luke 4:5-7 KJV (Satan's boast)
[5] And the devil, taking Him up into an high mountain, shewed unto Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
[6] And the devil said unto Him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
[7] If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

Christ, cast out demonic spirits:

Luke 4:33-37 KJV
[33] And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
[34] Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
[35] And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when
the devil
had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

[36] And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power He commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
[37] And the fame of Him went out into every place of the country round about.

Mark 5:1-15 KJV
[1] And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
[2] And when He was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
[3] Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:
[4] Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.
[5] And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.
[6] But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshiped Him,
[7] And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of The Most High God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
[8] For He said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.
[9] And He asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
[10] And he besought Him much that He would not send them away out of the country.
[11] Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
[12] And all the devils besought Him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
[13] And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.
[14] And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.
[15] And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

Mark 7:25-30 KJV
[25] For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of Him, and came and fell at His feet:
[26] The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought Him that He would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.
[27] But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.
[28] And she answered and said unto Him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.
[29] And He said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
[30] And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.

Who are these demons and where did they come from?

1) They are “not,” the hosts of lost men and angels mentioned in Genesis Six, and they are not plainly because of …

I Peter 3:19 KJV
[18] For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
[19] By which also he went and preached (Proper translation-Greek: Kerusso: To herold, proclaim.) unto the spirits in prison;
[20] Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

I Peter 3:19 NAS
18. For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit ;
19. in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison,
20.who once were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water.

2) Demons are “not,” evil, rebellious angels that fell with Lucifer.

Jude 6,7 KJV
[6] And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
[7] Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

II Peter 2:4 KJV
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell *, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
* Greek: Tartaroo (Tartaros): the deepest abyss of Hades. To incarcerate in eternal torment: cast down to hell. (Abingdon's Strong's Concordance)

Well then just who are demonic spirits?
See The Bible Prayer Line Index:
Bible Questions Answered: Accuser Of The Brethren
Bible Questions Answered: Creation Gap Theory

3) Demons are the spirits of a “Pre-Adamic race of men,” that with Lucifer met with global chaos, and judgment.

There is definitely a “Gap-of Time,” between Genesis 1:1, and verse 2.
See The Bible Prayer Line Index: Bible Questions Answered: Creation Gap Theory
where this is explained.

The Word of God is “silent,” for the most part on the origin of demonic spirits, but voluminous, as to their presence and work.

Demons have:

Supernatural Power (Mark 5:1-15 the Gadarenes)
Supernatural Knowledge (Acts 16:16-18 the possessed damsel. Mark 1:23,24/ Mark 5;6-8)
Afflict with sickness (Matthew 9:32-22/ 12:22/ Mark 7:25-30; 8:18; 9:17-27/Luke 13:11-16/Matthew 12:22/Luke 8:26-36/
Seducing, Deceiving Powers: (I Timothy 4:1/ Revelation 16:14)
Lie: (John 8:44)
May block answers to prayer: (Daniel 10:12,13)

How may demons be cast out of an individual?

Matthew 12:28 KJV (Christ said)
But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

Mark 9:28,29 KJV
[28] And when He was come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
[29] And He said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing,
but by prayer and fasting.

Luke 10:19,20 KJV
[19] Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
[20] Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Acts 8:6-8 KJV
[6] And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
[7] For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
[8] And there was great joy in that city.

Isaiah 58:6-9 KJV
[6] Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
[7] Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
[8] Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy reward.
[9] Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. ...”

The Casting out of evil spirits, not to be done by anyone who is not a born again Christian.

Acts 19:13-17 KJV

[13] Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
[14] And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
[15] And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
[16] And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
[17] And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

What happens to a person, liberated of demons, and who does not stay near to the Lord?

Matthew 12:43-45 KJV
[43] When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
[44] Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
[45] Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse

How many demons may possess any one individual?

Mark 5:9 KJV (Mark 5:1-15 The whole story.)
And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name (Spirits speaking from within the man) is Legion: for we are many.

Legion: A Roman military division vary at times from 3,000 to 6,000 soldiers.

When the demons were cast out of the man of Gadarea (Mark 5:1-15), they begged to go into a nearby feeding herd of swine.
This Christ allowed, as they did the swine ran into the sea. How many swine were there, verse 13 says that two thousand swine, ran to and were drowned in the sea.

Mark 16:9 KJV
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven devils.

Occult practices:
Ouija boards, crystal balls, tarot cards, planchettes, crystals, charms, magic, etc...
Some of these despicable items are sold as toys in toy stores to children,
when will the people of God speak out?

These devices, open an individual up to demonic possession.

Deuteronomy 18:9-12 KJV (Nine evil things mentioned by the Lord.)
[9] When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
[10] There shall not be found among you any one that
maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or
that useth
divination, or an
observer of times, or
an
enchanter, or a
witch,
[11] Or a
charmer, or a
consulter with familiar spirits, or a
wizard, or a
necromancer.
[12] For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Verses. 10: “Maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire...
Worship of the Ammonite god, Moloch. A statue of Moloch, with it's arms extended out, would be heated red hot, then Moloch worshipers would throw their young children upon it's arms to die. (Abortion of the young has been Satan's idea from the beginning.)

Verse 10: Divination:
Heathen worshipers, would seek out mediums, possessed with evil spirits, to receive Satanic messages from beyond.

Verse 10: Observer of the times:
Astrology, so called influence of planets on the lives of men. Thousands of thousands of news papers print daily “Horoscopes,” where as, in days past they used to print daily Bible verses, called an “Abomination by the Lord, as a Christian, has your voice been heard?

Leviticus 19:26 KJV
Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

God directs the paths of His people.

Psalm 32:8 KJV

[8] I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with Mine eye.

Proverbs 3:5,6 KJV
[5] Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
[6] In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.

Verse 10: An Enchanter:
The use of Incantations, charms, spells, magic, etc.

Isaiah 47:11-14 KJV
[11] Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.
[12] Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.
[13] Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
[14] Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame:...”

Verse 10: A Witch:

Verse 11: A Charmer, or Consultor of familiar spirits:

A Wizard, was one who was possessed with a “familiar spirit,” for counsel (which was a demon or evil spirit).
In today's world, the word witch, or wizard, may not be heard much, but the word Medium, is heard (which is the same thing).
This is what use to be called “Spiritualism.”

Verse 11: Necromancer:
A Necromancer, someone who claims to talk with the dead. (Deuteronomy 18:11-an abomination.)

I Corinthians 10:20-23 KJV
[20] But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
[21] Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
[22] Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than He?
[23] All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

I Timothy 4:1-5 KJV
[1] Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
[2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
[3] Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
[4] For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
[5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Victory over demons:

James 4:7,8 KJV
[7] Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
[8] Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. ...”

[10] Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
[11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
[12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
[13] Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
[14] Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
[15] And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
[16] Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
[17] And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
[18] Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Isaiah 26:3 KJV
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.

Romans 8:31-39 KJV
[31] What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
[32] He that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
[33] Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
[34] Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
[35] Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
[36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
[37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.
[38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
[39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Bible Questions Answered: Punishment-Degrees

Bible Questions Answered:
Do some people suffer more in hell, than others, like Hitler for example?
Martin/ Nebury, London-UK

Bible Answers:
According to the Word of God, yes.

Luke 12:47,48 KJV
[47] And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
[48] But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Luke 12:47,48 NLT
47 And a servant who knows what the master wants, but isn’t prepared and doesn’t carry out those instructions, will be severely punished.
48 But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.

Luke 12:47,48 RSV
[47] And that servant who knew his master's will, but did not make ready or act according to his will, shall receive a severe beating.
[48] But he who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, shall receive a light beating. Every one to whom much is given, of him will much be required; and of him to whom men commit much they will demand the more.

Whether the judgment be in the Kingdom of God (where God's “servants,” are), or on the day of Judgment (Great White Throne, for the lost,) punishment, is according to lack of obedience.
Though one may be ignorant, yet no doubt opportunity existed to learn the Master's will, and was not exercised, and so, stripes, yet few.

Degrees of punishment:

Matthew 10:15 KJV
Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Matthew 16:27 KJV
For the Son of Man shall come in the Glory of His Father with His angels; and then He shall reward every man according to his works.

Revelation 20:11-13; 22:12 KJV
[11] And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
[12] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
[13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

[12] And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Matthew 12:36,37 KJV
[36] But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
[37] For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Romans 14:12 KJV
So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

I Peter 4:4,5 NLT
4 Of course, your former friends are surprised when you no longer plunge into the flood of wild and destructive things they do. So they slander you.
5 But remember that they will have to face God, who will judge everyone, both the living and the dead.

Bible Questions Answered: Battles-The Last

Bible Questions Answered:
Will there be any more wars, after Armageddon?
Kelly/ Gainesville, Florida

Bible Answer:
Definition of the word “war.” (New World Dictionary of American English-College Edition.)
War: Open armed conflict between countries or between factions within the same country.

Answer: No.

After the battle of Armageddon, the Millennium takes place.
During the Millennium, Satan is bound one thousand years in the bottomless pit.

Revelation 20:1-3 KJV
[1] And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
[2] And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
[3] And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

After the thousand years, he is loosed, to go out and deceive the nations, which he does.

Revelation 19:19-20 KJV
[19] And I saw the beast (Anti-Christ), and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army.
(This is the end of the battle of Armageddon, the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, with His saints.)

[20] And the beast (Anti-Christ) was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

This all happens at the Second Coming of Christ, the end of Armageddon, the beginning of the Millennium (thousand year rule of peace, with Christ, the Prince of Peace, on earth.)

Revelation 20:7-10 KJV
[7] And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
[8] And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle (they wanted to fight the people of God):
the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

[9] And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city:
and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

[10] And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone,
where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Satan, gathers his followers to do battle, but there is “no,” battle, because God rains down fire upon them and devours them. This is not in any sense a war.
Satan, is cast forever into the Lake of Fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet, have already been for one thousand years, and not burnt up.
The battle of Armageddon is the battle to end all battles, a place of great slaughter, such as this world has never seen before, nor will ever see again.

[4] Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart?
thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

Bible Lesson: Millennial Temple

Bible Lesson: Millennial Temple

The Word of God foretells of the rebuilding of the Jewish temple.

Ezekiel 40:1- - 46:24 KJV

For Jewish sacrifices and offerings to take place, their temple needs to be rebuilt.

Many believe the last day False Prophet and Ant-Christ, come from Rome.
This Anti-Christ, last day revived Roman Empire, leader, will no doubt make overtures to Jewish leaders, that he will grant them protection to rebuild their temple, a temple in which, he fully plans to desecrate by announcing that he is god.

Daniel 9:27 NLT
27 The ruler (Anti-Christ) will make a treaty with the people for a period of one set of seven, but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him.”

Daniel 9:27 AMP
27And he (Anti-Christ) shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate, until the full determined end is poured out on the desolator.

Revelation 11:1 KJV (Last day temple.)
And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

II Thessalonians 2:3-5 KJV
[3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
[4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
[5] Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

Because the Jews as a people, have rejected the Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, God's Son, they desire to rebuild their temple, wishing to continue animal sacrifice to make atonement for sins.
In Old Testament times, God commanded the sacrifices as a covering for sin.
But these bloody animal sacrifices, were only a type, of the only sacrifice that could ever take away sin/ that could ever cleanse from sin, and that was the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary, shedding His blood, for the sins of mankind.

Hebrews 10:1-22 NLT
1 The old system under the law of Moses was only a shadow, a dim preview of the good things to come, not the good things themselves. The sacrifices under that system were repeated again and again, year after year, but they were never able to provide perfect cleansing for those who came to worship.
2 If they could have provided perfect cleansing, the sacrifices would have stopped, for the worshipers would have been purified once for all time, and their feelings of guilt would have disappeared.
3 But instead, those sacrifices actually reminded them of their sins year after year.
4 For it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
5 That is why, when Christ came into the world, He said to God,
“You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings. But you have given Me a body to offer.
6 You were not pleased with burnt offerings or other offerings for sin.
7 Then I said, ‘Look, I have come to do Your will, O God— as is written about Me in the Scriptures.’”
8 First, Christ said, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings or burnt offerings or other offerings for sin, nor were You pleased with them” (though they are required by the law of Moses).
9 Then He said, “Look, I have come to do Your will.” He cancels the first covenant in order to put the second into effect.
10 For God’s will was for us to be made holy by the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all time.
11 Under the old covenant, the priest stands and ministers before the altar day after day, offering the same sacrifices again and again, which can never take away sins.
12 But our High Priest offered Himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then He sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.
13 There He waits until His enemies are humbled and made a footstool under His feet.
14 For by that one offering He forever made perfect those who are being made holy.
15 And the Holy Spirit also testifies that this is so. For He says,
16 “This is the new covenant I will make with My people on that day, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.”
17 Then He says,“I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.”
18 And when sins have been forgiven, there is no need to offer any more sacrifices.
19 And so, dear brothers and sisters,we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus.
20 By His death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place.
21 And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house,
22 let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting Him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s Blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.

John 3:14-18 KJV
[14] And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up:
[15] That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17] For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
[18] He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

After the Tribulation period, the false prophet, and the Anti-Christ will be thrown into the lake of fire, then during the Millennium we read.

Isaiah 2:2-3 KJV
[2] And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
[3] And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Micah 4:1-4 KJV
[1] But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
[2] And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
[3] And He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
[4] But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.

Ezekiel 37:26 KJV
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

Dear friend, come to know this Great Saviour, High Priest today.
