gods - False

Bible Questions Answered:
“...I asked my neighbor to church and he said that he couldn't because of his work on his car, a 64 vet, he's put some $ 3,000 in repairs into this thing. How else can I get him into church service...”
Randy/ Hampton, Virginia U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

God:
A being or object believed to have more than natural attributes and powers and to require human worship; specifically : one controlling a particular aspect or part of reality
(Merriam-Webster)

Some times we are too close to the forest to see the trees. Many are already in worship service. They are in the worship of worldly things, which is their god, whether they realize it or not.

In Israel's past, Idols were the things of worship:

False gods:

The Phoenician goddess: Ashtaroth.
The Phoenician god: Baal.
A Moabite god: Baal-Peor.
A Moabite god: Chemosh.
A Philistine god: Dagon.
A goddess of thje Ephesians: Diana.
A Ammonite god: Molesh.

Isaiah 2:8 KJV
Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

Jeremiah 11:12 KJV
Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble.

Daniel 5:4 KJV (Belshazzar)
They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone.

Psalm 115:4-13 KJV
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
9 O Israel, trust thou in The Lord: He is their help and their shield.
10 O house of Aaron, trust in The Lord: He is their help and their shield.
11 Ye that fear The Lord, trust in The Lord: He is their help and their shield.
12 The Lord hath been mindful of us: He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.
13 He will bless them that fear The Lord, both small and great.

Today sensible people, don't worship idols wood or stone, but they have gods just the same. Anything that demands ones attention, service and sacrifice, is a false god.

I John 2:15-17 KJV
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of The Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of The Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

I John 2:15-17 NLT
15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of The Father in you.
16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from The Father, but are from this world.
17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.

Matthew 10:37-39 KJV (Jesus)
37 He that loveth father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after Me, is not worthy of Me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for My sake shall find it.

False gods, oh yes, they are still in the land.

Psalms 115:8 KJV
They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them. (Deaf, dumb, and lifeless.)

When idol worshipers, one day will be in need, they will find “no,” help from their idols!
But if we are a people who put The Lord first in our lives....

Psalm 115:11-13
11 Ye that fear The Lord, trust in The Lord: He is their help and their shield.
12 The Lord hath been mindful of us: He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. (God's people)
13 He will bless them that fear The Lord, both small and great.

Joshua's words are still profound today!

Joshua 24:15 KJV
But if serving The Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve The Lord.”

Salvation Prayer

Jesus, be merciful to me a sinner. I confess and forsake my sins, and ask you to forgive me, and make me a child of God, for you have said, “...whosoever shall call on the name of The Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:21 KJV

Thank you for dying for me, taking my place in judgment, that I might be pardoned. I take you as the Savior, and Lord (Master) of my life. Help me to read your word, confess you, and live for you.
Amen

John 1:12 KJVBut as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

John 3:16,17 KJV
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 6:37 KJV “...him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.”

Romans 7:4 NLT
So, my dear brothers and sisters, this is the point: You died to the power of the law when you died with Christ. And now you are united with

(John 15:3 KJV

Revelation 22:17 KJV

Revelation 21:9 KJV
"The bride, The Lamb’s wife."

In this book of Solomon, we see our Lord's great love for His Bride.

Song Of Solomon 4:1,7 KJV
1 Behold, thou art fair, My love; behold, thou art fair..."
7 Thou art all fair, My love; there is no spot in thee.

8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto
The Marriage Supper Of The Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Unbelief

Bible Questions Answered:
“...some of these I can believe but many others (scriptures ed.) here I cannot believe...”
Leonard/ Moscow, Russia

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Unbelief is the worst of all sins, for if one refuses to believe in and to trust The Lord Jesus, then there is no longer a means of salvation!

Unbelief- Unpardonable sin.
John 8:24 KJV
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins.

Unbelief, prevents the blessings of God.
Matthew 13:58 KJV
And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Unbelief- Jesus, rebuked His disciples.
Mark 16:14 KJV
Afterward He appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen Him after He was risen.

Unbelievers condemned.
John 3:18 KJV
He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of The Only Begotten Son Of God.

Unbelief - a Heinous sin.
Hebrews 3:12 KJV
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from The Living God.

Unbelief - and Future, Catastrophic Judgment of unbelievers.
Revelation 21:8 KJV
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Great Men And Their Unbelief:

Abraham and Sarah laugh.
Genesis 17:17 KJV
Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?

Genesis 18:14 KJV
Is any thing too hard for The Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.

Genesis 21:1-7 KJV
1 And The Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and The Lord did unto Sarah as He had spoken.
2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
3 And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.
4 And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.
5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.
6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.
7 And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

Moses doubted their could be a source for enough food.
Numbers 11:21-23; 31-32 NLT
21 But Moses responded to The Lord, “There are 600,000 foot soldiers here with me, and yet you say, ‘I will give them meat for a whole month!’
22 Even if we butchered all our flocks and herds, would that satisfy them? Even if we caught all the fish in the sea, would that be enough?”
23 Then The Lord said to Moses, “Has my arm lost its power? Now you will see whether or not My Word comes True!”

31 Now The Lord sent a wind that brought quail from the sea and let them fall all around the camp. For miles in every direction there were quail flying about three feet above the ground.
32 So the people went out and caught quail all that day and throughout the night and all the next day, too. No one gathered less than fifty bushels! They spread the quail all around the camp to dry.

Zechariah stricken in years, wondered (like Abraham and Sarah), just how he could become a father.
Luke 1:11-20; 23-25, 57-64 NLT
11 While Zechariah was in the sanctuary, an angel of The Lord appeared to him, standing to the right of the incense altar.
12 Zechariah was shaken and overwhelmed with fear when he saw Him.
13 But the angel said, “Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God has heard your prayer. Your wife, Elizabeth, will give you a son, and you are to name him John.
14 You will have great joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth,
15 for he will be great in the eyes of The Lord. He must never touch wine or other alcoholic drinks. He will be filled with The Holy Spirit, even before his birth.
16 And he will turn many Israelites to The Lord their God.
17 He will be a man with The Spirit and power of Elijah. He will prepare the people for the coming of The Lord. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and he will cause those who are rebellious to accept the wisdom of the Godly.”
18 Zechariah said to the angel, “How can I be sure this will happen? I’m an old man now, and my wife is also well along in years.”
19 Then The Angel said, “I am Gabriel! I stand in the very presence of God. It was He who sent me to bring you this good news!
20 But now, since you didn’t believe what I said, you will be silent and unable to speak until the child is born. For my words will certainly be fulfilled at the proper time.”
23 When Zechariah’s week of service in the Temple was over, he returned home.
24 Soon afterward his wife, Elizabeth, became pregnant and went into seclusion for five months.
25 “How kind The Lord is!” she exclaimed. “He has taken away my disgrace of having no children.”

57 When it was time for Elizabeth’s baby to be born, she gave birth to a son.
58 And when her neighbors and relatives heard that The Lord had been very merciful to her, everyone rejoiced with her.
59 When the baby was eight days old, they all came for the circumcision ceremony. They wanted to name him Zechariah, after his father.
60 But Elizabeth said, “No! His name is John!”
61 “What?” they exclaimed. “There is no one in all your family by that name.”
62 So they used gestures to ask the baby’s father what he wanted to name him.
63 He motioned for a writing tablet, and to everyone’s surprise he wrote, “His name is John.”
64 Instantly Zechariah could speak again, and he began praising God.

Faithless disciples, powerless.
Matthew 17:14-20 NLT
14 At the foot of the mountain, a large crowd was waiting for them. A man came and knelt before Jesus and said,
15 “Lord, have mercy on my son. He has seizures and suffers terribly. He often falls into the fire or into the water.
16 So I brought him to your disciples, but they couldn’t heal him.”

17 Jesus said, “You faithless and corrupt people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring the boy here to Me.”
18 Then Jesus rebuked the demon in the boy, and it left him. From that moment the boy was well.

19 Afterward the disciples asked Jesus privately, “Why couldn’t we cast out that demon?”
20 “You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you The Truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.”

Mark 9:22-24 NLT (Mark's account of this story.)
22 The spirit often throws him into the fire or into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you can.”
23 “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
24 The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!”

Our Lord told His disciples, that to increase their faith, they must be men of prayer and fasting.
And the Apostle Paul tells us...

Romans 10:17 KJV
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by The Word Of God.

If we ask Him, The Lord will help us to increase our faith, as the father prayed ““I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief!” and He will!

Salvation Prayer
Jesus, be merciful to me a sinner. I confess and forsake my sins, and ask you to forgive me, and make me a child of God, for you have said, “...whosoever shall call on the name of The Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:21 KJV

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

II Corinthians 6:2 NKJV
For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Bible Lesson: Titles Of The Church. Church Title: Spiritual House.

Bible Lesson: Titles Of The Church.

Church Title: Spiritual House.

Bible Text:

I Peter 2:5 KJV
1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of The Word, that ye may grow thereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that The Lord is Gracious.
4 To whom coming, as unto A Living Stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and Precious,
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

The church of Jesus Christ, is a spiritual house, made up of a “holy priesthood,” the people of God, who are “to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.”

The people of God, are called kings and priests.

Exodus 19:6 KJV (The people of God.)
And ye shall be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation..."

Revelation 1:5,6 KJV
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is The Faithful Witness, and
The First Begotten Of The Dead, and The Prince Of The kings Of The Earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His Own Blood,
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Kingship speaks of “authority,” and in The Lord's name and Word, we have authority.

Ecclesiastes 8:4 KJV
Where the word of a king is, there is power..."

Matthew 18:18-20 KJV
18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.

This is binding and loosing, according to The Word of The Lord.

Luke 10:1,17 KJV
1 After these things The Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before His face into every city and place, whither He Himself would come.
17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

The church of believers is also as priests. Priests pray, and offer sacrifices to The Lord.

Psalm 4:5 KJV
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in The Lord.

Psalm 27:6 KJV
And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto The Lord.

Psalm 40:8-10 KJV
8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest.

Gratitude

Bible Questions Answered:
“...so last time practically no one came to our thanksgiving dinner, probably because we didn't have a big fancy home as many of them do, so now how do we react to them? ...”

Gratitude:
The quality or feeling of being grateful or thankful:
(Dictionary.Com)

How easy it is to loose the true meaning of thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving - Gratitude, In The Old Testament:

I Chronicles 16:1-36 NLT
1 They brought the Ark of God and placed it inside the special tent David had prepared for it. And they presented burnt offerings and peace offerings to God.
2 When he had finished his sacrifices, David blessed the people in the name of
The Lord.
3 Then he gave to every man and woman in all Israel a loaf of bread, a cake of dates, and a cake of raisins.
4 David appointed the following Levites to lead the people in worship before the Ark of the Lord—to invoke His blessings, to give thanks, and to praise The Lord, The God of Israel.

5 Asaph, the leader of this group, sounded the cymbals. Second to him was Zechariah, followed by Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel. They played the harps and lyres.
6 The priests, Benaiah and Jahaziel, played the trumpets regularly before The Ark of God’s Covenant.

(David’s Song of Praise)
7 On that day David gave to Asaph and his fellow Levites this song of thanksgiving to The Lord:

8 Give thanks to The Lord and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done.
9 Sing to Him; yes, sing His praises. Tell everyone about His wonderful deeds.
10 Exult in His holy name; rejoice, you who worship The Lord.
11 Search for The Lord and for His strength; continually seek Him.

12 Remember the wonders He has performed, His miracles, and the rulings He has given,
13 you children of His servant Israel, you descendants of Jacob, His chosen ones.
14 He is The Lord our God. His justice is seen throughout the land.
15 Remember His covenant forever— the commitment He made to a thousand generations.

16 This is the covenant He made with Abraham and the oath He swore to Isaac.
17 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, and to the people of Israel as a never-ending covenant:
18 “I will give you the land of Canaan as your special possession.”
19 He said this when you were few in number, a tiny group of strangers in Canaan.

20 They wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
21 Yet He did not let anyone oppress them. He warned kings on their behalf:
22 “Do not touch My chosen people, and do not hurt My prophets.”
23 Let the whole earth sing to The Lord! Each day proclaim the good news that He saves.

24 Publish His glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things He does.
25 Great is The Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods.
26 The gods of other nations are mere idols, but The Lord made the heavens!
27 Honor and majesty surround Him; strength and joy fill His dwelling.

28 O nations of the world, recognize The Lord, recognize that The Lord is glorious and strong.
29 Give to The Lord the glory He deserves! Bring your offering and come into His presence. Worship The Lord in all His holy splendor.
30 Let all the earth tremble before Him. The world stands firm and cannot be shaken.
31 Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice! Tell all the nations, “The Lord reigns!”

32 Let the sea and everything in it shout His praise! Let the fields and their crops burst out with joy!
33 Let the trees of the forest sing for joy before The Lord, for He is coming to Judge the earth.
34 Give thanks to The Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever.
35 Cry out, “Save us, O God of our salvation! Gather and rescue us from among the nations, so we can thank your holy name and rejoice and praise you.”

36 Praise The Lord, The God Of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting!
And all the people shouted “Amen!” and praised The Lord.

Psalms 92:1-5 KJV
1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto The Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:
2 To shew forth thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
4 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
5 O Lord, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

Psalm 136:1-6, 23-26 KJV
1 O give thanks unto The Lord; for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto The God Of gods: for His mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to The Lord Of lords: for His mercy endureth for ever.
4 To Him who alone doeth great wonders: for His mercy endureth for ever.
5 To Him that by wisdom made the heavens: for His mercy endureth for ever.
6 To Him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for His mercy endureth for ever.
23 Who remembered us in our low estate: for His mercy endureth for ever:
24 And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for His mercy endureth for ever.
25 Who giveth food to all flesh: for His mercy endureth for ever.
26 O give thanks unto The God of heaven: for His mercy endureth for ever.

Thanksgiving – Gratitude, In The New Testament:

Luke 17:11-19 KJV
11 And it came to pass, as He went to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 And as He entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 And when He saw them, He said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 And He said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

Philippians 1:3-5 KJV (Apostle Paul)
3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,
4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,
5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

I Thessalonians 5:15-18 KJV
15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
16 Rejoice evermore.
17 Pray without ceasing.
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Matthew 26:20,26-30 KJV (I Corinthians 11:23-30 KJV)v
20 Now when the even was come, He sat down with the twelve.
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is My body.
27 And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is My Blood Of The New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom.
30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

Does your group of believers, celebrate communion on Thanksgiving?
It should, because communion speaks of overcoming victory for the follower of Jesus Christ!

The Greek word for Thanksgiving is the word, Eucharist.

Eucharist: Greek: Eucharistia (Yoo-khar-is-tee): Gratitude, grateful language to God.(Thanksgiving) as an act of worship: thankfulness, rejoicing, the giving of thanks.

Psalm 63:3,4 KJV
3 Because thy loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

Psalm 134:1-3 KJV
1 Behold, bless ye The Lord, all ye servants of The Lord, which by night stand in the house of The Lord.
2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless The Lord.
3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

Psalm 141:2 KJV
Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

Psalm 143:6 KJV
I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.

Alright, people of God, when you received communion, did you raises your hands and voices, in praise and honor to The Living God?

Will the “real,” people of God please stand!
Pastor, don't you realize that is -emotionalism- we don't want to be apart of that!”

One day this poor old broken down pastor will write a book about “The Devils Best One Liners.
And that phrase “Oh, that's emotionalism,” will be in it.

Don't tell that to the Psalmist, who wrote the psalms you just read, or for that fact, don't read the psalms at all, because they might hurt your darkened theology.

When is the last time you went to a baseball game? Here in Minnesota, we just built a new football auditorium, built to hold many thousands of people, the cost of the stadium, over One Billion Dollars.
Would you to watch a game there, everyone is waving their arms and shouting at the top of their voices, what a shame, such emotionalism! This is to say nothing of our fine new baseball stadium with shouting waving fans, packed!

Friends, it has been long enough, the people of God, have been, beat down, and defeated by “our,” spiritual enemy, the devil!

Let's get our minds of holiday commercialism, and get it back to unabashedly worshiping The Living God!

Psalm 9:1 KJV
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy
marvelous works.

Dear Friend, today, is the day to call upon the name of The Lord. We have no promise of tomorrow!

Proverbs 27:1 KJV
Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

Hebrews 4:7 KJV
"...To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.

Acts 2:21 KJV
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of The Lord shall be saved.

Rapture - Ready

Bible Questions Answered:
“...how does a guy know if he will be in this rapture?...”
Corey/ Co. Clare, Ireland U.K.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

The Word Of God, alone, determines if we will be raptured at our Lord's secret coming.

I Thessalonians 4:13-18 NLT (Hope of the Resurrection- I Corinthians 15:51-58)
13 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.
14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with Him the believers who have died.
15 We tell you this directly from The Lord: We who are still living when The Lord returns will not meet Him ahead of those who have died.
16 For The Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves.
17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet The Lord in the air. Then we will be with The Lord forever.
18 So encourage each other with these words.

Verse 14, shows us thee answer. If we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again...”

If we believe that The Lord Jesus was crucified in our place, took our judgment for sin, and was raised from death to Life, the third day, and we confess our belief, then we are Christian people!

Acts 16:31 KJV
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..."

John 3:16 KJV
For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

II Corinthians 5:21 KJV
For He (God The Father) hath made Him (Jesus Christ, His Son) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

If we are Christians, then we take The Lord Jesus Christ, as the Master of our life, meaning we take up our cross and follow Him.

This is the person that will be caught up in the rapture of the church.
God's follower is one “full of The Spirit.”

Jesus likened His coming, to a bridegroom coming to receive His bride.
The bride of Christ, is His church. Oil is a type of God The Holy Spirit, in the heart and lives of The Lord's people, who are ablaze with the gifts of His dowry.

Matthew 25:1-13 KJV
1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet The Bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While The Bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, The Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, The Bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with Him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But He answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein The Son Of Man cometh.

I take you as my Savior, and Lord (Master) of my life. Help me to read your word, confess you, and live for you.
Amen

John 1:12 KJV
But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

John 3:16,17 KJV
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 6:37 KJV
...him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.”

Acts 2:21 KJV
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of The Lord shall be saved.

Acts 4:12 KJV
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Romans 6:23 KJV
For the wages of sin is death; but The Gift Of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 10:9l, 10 KJV
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth The Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
