Bible Lesson: Prayers Of Jesus: Heavenly Love, Produced Undying Faithfulness

Bible Lesson: Prayers Of Jesus: Heavenly Love, Produced Undying Faithfulness

Location: Calvary.

Lesson: Our Savior Through The Torments Of Hell, Was Found Faithful And Loving.

Bible Text:

Matthew 27:46 KJV
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me?

Mark 15:34 KJV
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me?

John 19:30 KJV
When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost.

Jesus had quoted the prophet...
Psalm 22:1 KJV
My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me? why art thou so far from helping Me, and from the words of My roaring?

Our Saviors great love, caused Him to bear the very torments of hell.
My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me?”
In hell, souls are forever in pain, cursed, though created by God, in hell, they are forever separated from Him.

Homily:
Think, of in this world, how many little ones, “if they could only choose,” would grow up in homes of love and care instead of darkness and strife. (Please, read it again.)

And yet dear friend, that little one in your life is your God given “soul.” It is the mirror image of you from the choices you have made. It is the eternal you that will go on forever, to one day reap the rewards you have consciously chosen in your life, branding your will and fate upon it.

If the world, for one moment could be still and more quite that anything before, perhaps you could then hear the voice of your own soul, crying out “This is wrong!” “I need The Lord!” “God help me!”
If only that could happen, ah but the evil one and his cacophony of discordant gibberish, drowns out the souls cry for help. Through drink and drugs, dark noisy events of evil and sin, the small cry of the soul is silenced.

Proverbs 8:36 KJV
But he that sinneth against Me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate Me love death.

Today, the love of The Lord of Calvary is still available!

John 3:14-18 KJV
14 "...even so must The Son Of Man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of The Only Begotten Son Of God.

The Savior's love was so great, that a thousand Calvary's would not have stopped Him, from giving His life for you and me!

What does His love, compel you to do?

Joshua 24:15 KJV
And if it seem evil unto you to serve The Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve The Lord.

Ephesians 2:4-9 KJV
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is The Gift Of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

God-Access To

Bible Questions Answered:
“How can I get to god?...”
Andre/ Pretoria, South Africa (Gauteng)

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:

Sooner or later, we will all at one time or another, need to get a hold of God.
Family tragedy, sickness, death, God has the answers, and we need to know them.
What should be our direction in life, who should we marry, etc. etc.

Here are four qualifications to be sure our prayers will be able to contact The Living God.

I) (Through Christ-Only.)

John 14:6 KJV
Jesus saith unto him, I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto The Father, but by Me.

Lots of people are praying to saints angels, and you name it, But all those prayers ARE IN ERROR, who says so!!!

Why The Lord Jesus Christ said so! Jesus taught us to pray to The Father in heaven by His (Jesus) name.

Matthew 6:9 KJV
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

John 14:13 KJV
And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that The Father may be glorified in The Son.

(The only one who may pray “Our Father, who art in heaven” is a Christian, or someone who wishes to give his life to The Lord.)
God is under no obligation to answer prayers from sinners, He listens for prayers from His children, and answers them.)

I Timothy 2:5 KJV
For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, The Man Christ Jesus;

II) (Through God The Holy Spirit.)

Ezekiel 36:27 KJV
And I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments, and do them.

Matthew 28:19 KJV
"...in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Ghost:

John 14:17 KJV
Even The Spirit Of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 16:13 KJV
Howbeit when He, The Spirit Of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.

Romans 8:9 KJV
But ye are not in the flesh, but in The Spirit, if so be that The Spirit Of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not The Spirit Of Christ, he is none of His.

I Corinthians 3:16 KJV
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that The Spirit Of God dwelleth in you?

Ephesians 2:18 KJV
For through Him (Jesus Christ) we both have access by one Spirit unto The Father.

I John 2:7 KJV
But The Anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same Anointing teacheth you of all things, and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.

I John 5:7 KJV
For there are three that bear record in heaven, The Father, The Word, and The Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

III (By Faith)

Romans 5:1,2 KJV
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV
But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Hebrews 10:38 KJVNow the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him.

IV) (By Pureness Of Life.)

Psalm 24:3-5 KJV
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of The Lord? or who shall stand in His holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from The Lord, and righteousness from the God of His salvation.

Proverbs 15:29 KJV
The Lord is far from the wicked: but He heareth the prayer of the righteous.

Isaiah 59:2 KJV
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear.

James 4:8 KJV
Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

I John 1:9 KJV
If we confess our sins, He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Clothing-Adam And Eve-Before The Fall

Bible Questions Answered:
“Adam and Eve were created without clothes, but did they have clothing before the fall?”
Alexander/ Landstuhl, Germany (Rhineland-Palatinate)

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:

God created Adam and Eve and placed them into the Garden of Eden, paradise.
They only knew that they were naked after having fallen into sin.

Genesis 2:25 KJV
And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Genesis 3:7 KJV
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

God in His loving mercy and foreordained provision, made them a covering, fig leaves simply would not do!

Genesis 3:21 KJV
Unto Adam also and to his wife did The Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

This clothing of Adam and Eve, was but a foreshadowing of a future event, when sins would not only be covered but cleansed by blood. Yes, God killed the first animal, and He did it to clothe Adam and Eve.
Since Calvary, His children may be clothed in righteousness, by the sacrificial blood of Christ.

Hebrews 9:22 NLT
"...according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

I John 1:7-10 KJV
7 But if we walk in The Light, as He is in The Light, we have fellowship one with another, and
The Blood Of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and The Truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.

Question: Did Adam and Eve have any clothing before the fall?
Answer: Yes!

Before the fall, Adam and Eve were Clothed in a Schechinah Glory.

Shechinah: The English transliteration of a Hebrew noun meaning dwelling or settling, and denotes the dwelling or settling of the Divine Presence of God.
(Wikipedia)

Shechinah: The glory of God's presence. Such glory as God's presence resting upon the mercy seat of the ark of the covenant.

Psalm 104:1,2 KJV
1 Bless The Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honor and majesty.
2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

Psalm 132:9 KJV
Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 KJV
He hath made every thing beautiful in His time..."

Today:
Joel 2:25 NLT
The Lord says, “I will give you back what you lost..."

Sin, dear friend, robs us, takes what is God given, and steals it way, leaving us destitute.

John 10:10,11 KJV
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have Life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
11 I am The Good Shepherd: The Good Shepherd giveth His life for the sheep.

Isaiah 61:1-3O KJV  (The devil's victims.)
1 The Spirit Of The Lord God is upon me; because The Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of The Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them
(God's gift, the devils counterfeit)

beauty for ashes,
the oil of joy for mourning,
the garment of praise for The spirit of heaviness;
that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of The Lord, that He might be glorified.

Dear Friend, don't let the enemy rob you any longer put on God's Garments of Praise, instead of the devils, spirit of heaviness.

Isaiah 61:10 KJV
I will greatly rejoice in The Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a Bridegroom decketh Himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Bible Lesson: Prayers Of Jesus: Jesus Prayed For His Enemies.

Location: Calvary

Lesson: We Must Pray For Our Enemies.

Bible Text:

Luke 23:34 KJV
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted His raiment, and cast lots.

Even while His enemies were killing Him, Jesus prayed for them.
“Love,” its what sets Christian people separate from all others.

There are people who kill those who do not believe as they do, people they consider their enemies.
Christian's love their enemies.

Matthew 5:38-48 KJV (Jesus)
38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.

41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Love, God's Way:

Jeremiah 31:3 KJV
The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee.

John 3:16-18 KJV
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of The Only Begotten Son Of God.

Romans 5:8 KJV
But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

I Corinthians 13:13 NLT
Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

Galatians 5:6,22,23 KJV
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
22 But the fruit of The Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Ephesians 2:4,5 KJV
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Ephesians 3:17-19 KJV
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Ephesians 5:1,2 KJV
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.

Colossians 3:14 KJV
Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

I John 3:1 KJV
Behold, what manner of love The Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.

I John 4:8,16 KJV
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Doctrines Of Devils

Bible Questions Answered:
“Hello Pastor, could you tell us what devils doctrines are. Thank you.'
Walt/ Ellensburg, Washington U.S.A.

DOCTRINES OF DEVILS:

I Timothy 4:1-5 KJV
1 Now The Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know The Truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by The Word Of God and prayer.

Who does the Apostle Paul, say that “shall depart from the faith”? (I Timothy 4:1 KJV)
They are those who take heed to “to seducing spirits,” (I Timothy 4:1 KJV)

Those who depart from the faith, by listening to seducing spirits, what will they do and teach?
I Timothy 4:2,3 KJV
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats,

What does God Word say concerning these?
I Timothy 4:3-5 KJV
...meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know The Truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by The Word Of God and prayer.

Now concerning marriage be sure to read View a list of subjects Celibacy
Peter was a married man, so were Bartholomew and Philip.

These have been just a few Doctrines Of Devils, there are countless more!

A Sampling:

Denial Of The Virgin Birth:

Genesis 3:15 KJV
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Isaiah 7:14 KJV
Therefore The Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear A Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

Matthew 1:23 KJV
Behold, a virgin shall be with Child, and shall bring forth A Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Luke 1:26,27,31 KJV
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth A Son, and shalt call His name Jesus.

Denial Of The Atonement:

Romans 5:11 KJV
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Colossians 1:19,20 NLT
19 For God in all His fullness was pleased to live in Christ,
20 and through Him God reconciled everything to Himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross.

Denial Of Salvation By Grace:

Ephesians 2:5,8,9 KJV
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is The Gift Of God:
9 Not of works (Religious works.), lest any man should boast.

Titus 3:5-7 KJV
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of The Holy Ghost;
6 Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior;
7 That being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Denial Of One And Only One Savior, Mediator:

John 8:24 KJV
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins.

Acts 4:12 KJV
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Jesus Christ)

I Timothy 2:5 KJV
For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, The Man Christ Jesus;

Denial Of Jesus Christ, God's Son, As A Flesh And Blood Messiah:

I John 2:22 KJV
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is The Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth The Father and The Son.

I John 4:3 KJV
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

II John 1:7 KJV
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Denial Of The Rapture Of The Church Of Jesus Christ:

I Corinthians 15:51-58 KJV
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of
The Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in The Lord.

I Thessalonians 4:13-18 NLT
13 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.
14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with Him the believers who have died.
15 We tell you this directly from The Lord: We who are still living when The Lord returns will not meet Him ahead of those who have died.
16 For The Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves.
17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet The Lord in the air. Then we will be with The Lord forever.
18 So encourage each other with these words.

Denial Of A Final Judgment:

Jude 14,15 KJV
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, The Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

Revelation 20:11-15 KJV
11 And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Denial Of Hell, And It's Everlastingness:

Mark 9:43-48 KJV
43 "...hell...the fire that never shall be quenched:
44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Revelation 14:9-11 KJV
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of The Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Revelation 20:10 KJV
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Denial Of Any And All Warnings, Not To Explore The Occult (Satan's Domain.):

Deuteronomy 18:9-12 NLT
9 “When you enter the land The Lord your God is giving you, be very careful not to imitate the detestable customs of the nations living there.
10 For example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering. And do not let your people practice fortune-telling, or use sorcery, or interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft,
11 or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead.
12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to The Lord. It is because the other nations have done these detestable things that The Lord your God will drive them out ahead of you.
13 But you must be blameless before The Lord your God.
14 The nations you are about to displace consult sorcerers and fortune-tellers, but The Lord your God forbids you to do such things.”

Galatians 5:19-21 NLT
19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division,
21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Denial Of God's Warnings, Trusting In One's Own Heart For Salvation:

Jeremiah 17:9 KJV
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Proverbs 3:5-8 NLT
5 Trust in The Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.
6 Seek His will in all you do and He will show you which path to take.
7 Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear The Lord and turn away from evil.
8 Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.

Matthew 15:19 KJV
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Mark 7:20-23 KJV
20 And He said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

Dear friend, what is the answer to all of these many devilish doctrines and countless others?

James 4:7,8 KJV
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you..."

Proverbs 6:23 KJV
For the commandment is a lamp; and the Law is Light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

Luke 1:78,79 KJV
78 "...The Dayspring from on high hath visited us,
79 To give Light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

John 16:13 KJV
Howbeit when he, The Spirit Of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.

Revelation 22:18,19 KJV
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this Book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this Book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of The Book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of The Book Of Life, and out of The Holy City, and from the things which are written in this Book.

The Word Of God, Should Be Read Daily:

Deuteronomy 8:3 KJV
And He humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that He might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of The Lord doth man live.

Deuteronomy 17:19 KJV
And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear The Lord his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:

Jeremiah 15:16 KJV
Thy Words were found, and I did eat them; and thy Word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God Of Hosts.

Matthew 4:4 KJV
But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

John 6:32-35,47-51 KJV
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but My Father giveth you The True Bread From Heaven.
33 For The Bread Of God is He which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto Him, Lord, evermore give us this Bread.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am The Bread Of Life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me hath everlasting Life.
48 I am that Bread Of Life.
49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is The Bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
51 I am The Living Bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this Bread, he shall live for ever: and The Bread that I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Acts 13:27 KJV (The people did not recognize The Messiah, because they failed to daily read The Word.)
The people in Jerusalem and their leaders did not recognize Jesus as the one the prophets had spoken about. Instead, they condemned Him, and in doing this they fulfilled the prophets’ words that are read every Sabbath.

The Words Of God Are To Be Loved, For They Alone Are Words Of Life:

Psalm 119:72,82,127,162 NLT
72 Your instructions are more valuable to me than millions in gold and silver.
82 My eyes are straining to see your promises come true..."
127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
162 I rejoice at thy Word, as one that findeth great spoil (treasure).

Proverbs 23:23 NLT
Get The Truth and never sell it; also get wisdom, discipline, and good judgment.

Jeremiah 15:16 KJV
Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God Of Hosts.

John 5:39 KJV
Search The Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Romans 15:4 NLT
Such things were written in The Scriptures long ago to teach us. And The Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.

The Word Of God, Is To Be Taught:

Deuteronomy 11:19 KJV
And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Deuteronomy 31:11-13 NLT
11 you must read this Book of Instruction to all the people of Israel when they assemble before
The Lord your God at the place He chooses.
12 Call them all together—men, women, children, and the foreigners living in your towns—so they may hear this Book of Instruction and learn to fear The Lord your God and carefully obey all the terms of these instructions.
13 Do this so that your children who have not known these instructions will hear them and will learn to fear The Lord your God. Do this as long as you live..."

II Kings 23:2 NLT
And the king went up to the Temple of The Lord with all the people of Judah and Jerusalem, along with the priests and the prophets—all the people from the least to the greatest. There the king read to them the entire Book Of The Covenant that had been found in The Lord’s Temple.

Isaiah 2:3 NLT
People from many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of The Lord, to the house of Jacob’s God. There He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths.” For the Lord’s teaching will go out from Zion; His Word will go out from Jerusalem.

The Word Of God Alone, Will One Day, Be The Guide For Final Judgment:

Deuteronomy 18:17-19 NLT
17 “Then The Lord said to me...
18 I will raise up a prophet...I will put My words in his mouth, and he will tell the people everything I command him.
19 I will personally deal with anyone who will not listen to the messages the prophet proclaims on My behalf.

John 12:48 KJV
He that rejecteth Me, and receiveth not My Words, hath one that judgeth him: The Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Bible Lesson: Prayers Of Jesus: Christian, We Are Called To Intercessory Prayer.

Bible Lesson: Prayers Of Jesus: Christian, We Are Called To Intercessory Prayer.

Location: The Upper Room, Jerusalem/ Gethsemane).

Lesson: Be Faithful In Suffering, To Pray.

Bible Texts:

Luke 22:31,32 KJV (Jesus interceded for Peter.)
31 And The Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

Intercessory prayer, the duty of all Christian people. Has our Lord, placed someone on your heart to pray for?

I Peter 5:8 KJV
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Pray for your family, pray for your church, your pastor and his family, your deacons. Pray for your country and its leaders, that they may be people of The Living God.

The Apostle Paul, who wrote 14 of your New Testament books said....

I Thessalonians 5:17 KJV
Pray without ceasing.

Matthew 26:36-44 KJV
36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
37 And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.
38 Then saith He unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with Me.
39 And He went a little farther, and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
40 And He cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with Me one hour?
41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if this cup may not pass away from Me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
43 And He came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.
44 And He left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.

Mark 14:32-40 KJV
32 And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and He saith to His disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.
33 And He taketh with Him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;
34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.
35 And He went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.
36 And He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from Me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
37 And He cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?
38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
39 And again He went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.
40 And when He returned, He found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer Him.

Luke 22:40-46 KJV
40 And when He was at the place, He said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
41 And He was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from Me: nevertheless not My will, but thine, be done.
43 And there appeared an angel unto Him from heaven, strengthening Him.
44 And being in an agony He prayed more earnestly: and His sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
45 And when He rose up from prayer, and was come to His disciples, He found them sleeping for sorrow,
46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

Our Savior was in agony of the cross, and yet He prayed.
John 13:15 KJV
For I have given you an example..."

John 15:18-20 KJV
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also.

Our Lord was “exceeding sorrowful”(Mark 14:34 KJV).

The world today, lives in sin, drink, and laughter, but Solomon warned...

Ecclesiastes 7:3 KJV
Sorrow is better* than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.

*Better - Towb (Tobe): A good thing, best, favor, precious, good, favored.

It is good to be In sorrow, if it is sorrow in interceding prayer for others.

Romans 9:1,2 NLT
1 With Christ as my witness, I speak with utter truthfulness. My conscience and The Holy Spirit confirm it.
2 My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief
3 for my people..."

In our prayers, we must always pray as did Jesus.
Matthew 26:39 KJV
O My Father...not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Matthew 6:13 KJV
"...For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Our Lord is, directing everything to bless His people.

Romans 8:28 KJV
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

In deep sorrow of intercession, suffering, or affliction, do what Jesus did, pray, pray, pray!
II Corinthians 4:17 KJV
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Proverbs 15:29 KJV
The Lord is far from the wicked: but He heareth the prayer of the righteous.

Jesus spent a great deal of His life, in prayer. Others may have slept, but Jesus prayed.
And what would be His words to us today?

Mark 14:38 KJV
Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

Our Savior intercedes yet for us today.

John 17:9 KJV
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given Me; for they are thine.

Romans 8:34 NLT
Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and He is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.

Hebrews 7:25 KJV
Wherefore He (Jesus Christ) is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Wise Men-Who Were They?

Bible Questions Answered:
“Who were the wise men?”
Rico/Manila, Philippines

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:

Matthew 2:1-12 NLT
1 Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking,
2 “Where is the newborn King Of The Jews? We saw His star as it rose, and we have come to worship Him.”
3 King Herod was deeply disturbed when he heard this, as was everyone in Jerusalem.
4 He called a meeting of the leading priests and teachers of religious law and asked, “Where is
The Messiah supposed to be born?”
5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they said, “for this is what the prophet wrote:
6 ‘And you, O Bethlehem in the land of Judah, are not least among the ruling cities of Judah, for a Ruler will come from you who will be The Shepherd for my people Israel.”
7 Then Herod called for a private meeting with the wise men, and he learned from them the time when the star first appeared.
8 Then he told them, “Go to Bethlehem and search carefully for the child. And when you find Him, come back and tell me so that I can go and worship Him, too!”
9 After this interview the wise men went their way. And the star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem. It went ahead of them and stopped over the place where The Child was.
10 When they saw the star, they were filled with joy!
11 They entered the house and saw The Child with His mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure chests and gave Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
12 When it was time to leave, they returned to their own country by another route, for God had warned them in a dream not to return to Herod.

Matthew 2:1 NLT
Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking,
The three Wise men, were wealthy Kings (Some believe scholars of the day.) from the East, Persia (Present day Iran), or as far away as from India.

These were learned men, (Tradition lists their names as: Balthazar, Caspar, and Melchior.) who were professors of their day. They studied many things, one of which was astronomy, and in their doing so, had found in the heavens a special star, that showed them, a King had been born of the Jews, a King who was worthy of worship.

Matthew 2:2 NLT
"Where is the newborn King Of The Jews? We saw His star as it rose, and we have come to worship Him.”

Wise men today, still seek the one who is …..
John 14:6 KJV
"...I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto The Father, but by Me.

John 10:9 KJV
I am The Door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Acts 4:12 KJV
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Ephesians 2:8,9,18 KJV
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is The Gift Of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit unto The Father.

Titus 3:5 KJV
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of The Holy Ghost;

I John 5:12 KJV
He that hath The Son hath Life; and he that hath not The Son of God hath not life.

Moses-Why He Could Not Enter Canaan?

Bible Questions Answered:
“Why couldn't moses enter Canaan?”
Lucille/ Guelph, Ontario Canada

Bible Answer:
Bible Text: (Read Numbers 13,14,20)

The Lord had lead Israel up to the borders of Canaan, to spie out the land and to conquer and possess it.
But Israel, would not do so, believing that the land had walled cities and giants, so they refused The Lords command.

Israel's judgment:
Numbers 14:34,35 NLT
34 “‘Because your men explored the land for forty days, you must wander in the wilderness for forty years—a year for each day, suffering the consequences of your sins. Then you will discover what it is like to have Me for an enemy.’
35 I, The Lord, have spoken! I will certainly do these things to every member of the community who has conspired against Me. They will be destroyed here in this wilderness, and here they will die!”

Sentenced to 40 years of wanderings in the desert, wanderings until all who had complained and refused The Lord's wishes, had dropped dead in the desert.

While wandering in the desert, Israel needed water.

Numbers 20:1-13 NLT
1 In the first month of the year, the whole community of Israel arrived in the wilderness of Zin and camped at Kadesh. While they were there, Miriam died and was buried.
2 There was no water for the people to drink at that place, so they rebelled against Moses and Aaron.
3 The people blamed Moses and said, “If only we had died in The Lord’s presence with our brothers!
4 Why have you brought the congregation of The Lord’s people into this wilderness to die, along with all our livestock?
5 Why did you make us leave Egypt and bring us here to this terrible place? This land has no grain, no figs, no grapes, no pomegranates, and no water to drink!”
6 Moses and Aaron turned away from the people and went to the entrance of the Tabernacle, where they fell face down on the ground. Then the glorious presence of The Lord appeared to them,
7 and The Lord said to Moses,
8 “You and Aaron must take the staff and assemble the entire community. As the people watch,
speak to The Rock over there, and it will pour out its water. You will provide enough water from The Rock to satisfy the whole community and their livestock.”
9 So Moses did as he was told. He took the staff from the place where it was kept before The Lord.
10 Then he and Aaron summoned the people to come and gather at The Rock. “Listen, you rebels!” he shouted. “Must we bring you water from this Rock?”
11 Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with the staff, and water gushed out. So the entire community and their livestock drank their fill.
12 But The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust Me enough to demonstrate My holiness to the people of Israel, you will not lead them into the land I am giving them!”
13 This place was known as the waters of Meribah (which means “arguing”) because there the people of Israel argued with The Lord, and there He demonstrated His holiness among them.

The Lord had told Moses and Aaron, to “speak to The Rock”/ but Moses and Aaron, acted in their own fleshly might, by striking the Rock twice, and water came forth.

They had disobeyed the simplest of commands of The Lord.

Numbers 20:12 NLT
But The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust Me enough to demonstrate My holiness to the people of Israel, you (Moses and Aaron.) will not lead them into the land I am giving them!”

The message here of Israel, and of Moses and Aaron is this, disobedience, costs us!

Disobedience:

Deuteronomy 11:28 KJV
And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of The Lord your God, but turn aside out of The Way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

I Samuel 12:15 KJV
But if ye will not obey the voice of The Lord, but rebel against the commandment of The Lord, then shall the hand of The Lord be against you, as it was against your fathers.

Ephesians 5:6,7 KJV
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

II Thessalonians 1:8 KJV
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Hebrews 2:1-3 KJV
1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2 For if The Word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by
The Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard Him;

In Biblical Typology, The Rock (Numbers 20), represents The Lord!

NO, not Peter, wouldn't be born for many centuries!
The Rock, is none other than The Lord!

Peter's confession was about Christ, who is The Rock of our salvation (Psalm 95:1 KJV).
Matthew 16:18 KJV
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art The Christ, The Son Of The Living God.
