Inclusive - Exclusive
Bible Questions Answered:
“...I heard them say the church
should be inclusive in its approach to others. What are they saying
here?...”
Toby/ Auburn, Washington U.S.A.
To start right, let's be sure we know
what we are talking about.
Inclusive:
Covering or including everything: open
to everyone: not limited to certain people: including the stated
limits and everything in between.
Merriam-Webster
Exclusive
Not shared: available to only one
person or group: available to only a few people.
Merriam-Webster
The saving gospel of Jesus Christ is
all-inclusive, that is, it is open to all!
Isaiah 45:22 NKJV
“Look to Me, and be saved, All
you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.
John 3:16 NKJV
For God so loved the world
that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.
Acts 2:21 NKJV
And it shall come to pass That
whoever calls on the name of The Lord Shall be saved.
Acts 10:43 NLT
He is the one all the prophets
testified about, saying that everyone who believes in Him
will have their sins forgiven through His name.”
Romans 10:13 NKJV
For “whoever calls
on the name of The Lord shall be saved.”
II Corinthians 5:14,15 NLT
14 "...Christ died for
all..."
15 He died for everyone
so that those who receive His new life will no longer
live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and
was raised for them.
I Timothy 2:3,4 NLT
3 This is good and pleases God our
Savior,
4 who wants everyone
to be saved and to understand The Truth.
Titus 2:11,12 NLT
11 For the grace of God has been
revealed, bringing salvation to all people.
12 And we are instructed to turn from
godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil
world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,
II Peter 3:9 NKJV
The Lord is not slack concerning His
promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us,
not willing that any should perish but that all should come to
repentance.
I John 1:9 NKJV
If we confess our sins,
He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.
I John 5:1 NLT
Everyone who believes that
Jesus is The Christ has become a child of God. And everyone
who loves
The Father loves His
children, too.
Revelation 22:17 NKJV
And The Spirit and the bride say,
“Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who
thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life
freely.
How wonderful that, “whoever
calls on the name of The Lord Shall be saved.”
And that the gospel
message of salvation is open to “everyone.”
Now having said
that, we move on to the subject of the teaching of the church of
The Lord Jesus
Christ.
The teachings of The Lord Jesus Christ
are, exclusive!
Deuteronomy 4:2 NKJV
You shall not add to The Word
which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the
commandments of The Lord your God which I command you.
Deuteronomy 12:32 NKJV
“Whatever I command you, be
careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from
it.
Proverbs 30:6 NKJV
Do not add to His Words, Lest
He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.
Ecclesiastes 3:14 NLT
And I know
that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or
taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear Him.
Matthew 5:17-20 NJKV
17 “Do not think that I came to
destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but
to fulfill.
18 For assuredly, I say to you,
till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no
means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
19 Whoever therefore breaks one of
the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be
called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches
them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say to you, that unless
your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and
Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
Galatians 1:8,9 NKJV
(Godly Warning.)
8 But even if we, or an angel from
heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have
preached to you, let him be accursed.
9 As we have said before, so now I
say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you
have received, let him be accursed.
Jude 3 NLT
Dear friends, I had been eagerly
planning to write to you about the salvation we all share. But now I
find that I must write about something else, urging you to defend the
faith that God has entrusted once for all time to His holy
people.
Revelation 22:18,19 NJKV (Christ's
Warning.)
18 For I testify to everyone who
hears The words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds
to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in
This Book;
19 and if anyone takes away from The
Words of The Book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part
from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which
are written in This Book.
What is all of this
saying? It is saying, that in no way shape or form, may The Word Of
God, be compromised!
God is immutable,
that is to say, unchanging, and so His Word! And because He is
unchanging, and His Word is unchanging, it brings division among men.
Matthew 10:34-39
NKJV (Division)
34 “Do not think that I came to
bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
35 For I have come to ‘set a man
against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a
daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’;
36 and ‘a man’s enemies will be
those of his own household.’
37 He who loves father or mother
more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter
more than Me is not worthy of Me.
38 And he who does not take his
cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
39 He who finds his life will lose
it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.
Luke 12:49-53
NKJV
49 “I came to send fire on the
earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!
50 But I have a baptism to be
baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished!
51 Do you suppose that I came to
give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division.
52 For from now on five in one house
will be divided: three against two, and two against three.
53 Father will be divided against
son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter
against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and
daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”
Hebrews 4:12 KJV
For The Word Of God is quick,
and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to
the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and
marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Revelation 1:16
KJV
And He had in His right hand seven
stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and
His countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
Revelation
2:12,16 KJV
12 And to the angel of the church in
Pergamos write; These things saith He which hath the sharp sword
with two edges;
16 Repent; or else I will come unto
thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my
mouth.
Revelation
19:15,21 KJV
15 And out of His mouth goeth a
sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He
shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the wine press of
the fierceness and wrath of
Almighty God.
21 And the remnant were slain with
the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword
proceeded out of His mouth: and all the fowls were filled with
their flesh.
The Way of Jesus is
a way of division, the darkness from The Light, the false from The
True.
Matthew 7:13,14
NKJV
13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for
wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and
there are many who go in by it.
14 Because narrow is the gate and
difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find
it.
The Broadway
Church, is all inclusive in its gospel, and it is because its
gospel is constantly evolving, ever changing, all accepting, all
embracing, because absolute truth cannot be known, it is an never
ending search.
II Timothy 4:3,4
NLT
3 For a time is coming when people
will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will
follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell
them whatever their itching ears want to hear.
4 They will reject The Truth and
chase after myths.
The Broadway Church
explains as did Pilot... John 18:38 KJV “Pilate saith unto Him,
What is truth?..."
The Broadway
Church, can never know The Truth, because it has rejected Jesus
Christ who is...
John 14:6 KJV
Jesus saith unto him, I am The Way,
The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto The Father, but by Me.
The Narrow Way
Church, may be few in number, yes, but mighty in power and in deed,
for it lives and breathes the very Word Of God, and judges all things
by it!
Acts 17:10-12
NLT
10 That very night the believers
sent Paul and Silas to Berea. When they arrived there, they went to
the Jewish synagogue.
11 And the people of Berea were more
open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to
Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to
see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth.
12 As a result, many Jews believed,
as did many of the prominent Greek women and men.
Dear friend, may
Joshua's words always be yours!
Joshua 24:15 KJV
And if it seem evil unto you to
serve The Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the
gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the
flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as
for me and my house, we will serve The Lord.

Roman Accusation Against Jesus
Bible Questions Answered:
“What crime did the Romans say that
Jesus did?..”
Wendy/ Petrozavodsk, Russia (Republic
of Karelia)
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
The Romans, reserved crucifixion for
its worst criminals, as an act of warning all others not to follow
the deeds of the crucified.
Both the name of the individual and his
criminal deeds were written and posted upon the cross of the accused.
In our Lord's case, His name and
criminal act were posted.
Matthew 27:37 KJV
And set up over His head His
accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews.
Mark 15:26 KJV
And the superscription of His
accusation was written over, The King Of The Jews.
Luke 23:38 KJV
And a superscription also was
written over Him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, This Is
The King Of The Jews.
John 19:19 KJV
And Pilate wrote a title, and put it
on the cross. And the writing was Jesus Of Nazareth
The King Of The Jews.
The King Of The
Jews, had Jesus ever claimed this title? Yes.
Matthew 27:11
NKJV
11 Now Jesus stood before the
governor. And the governor asked Him, saying, “Are You The King Of
The Jews?” Jesus said to him, “It is as you say.”
But Jesus told
Pilot...
John 18:33-38
NKJV
33 Then Pilate entered the
Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, “Are You
The King Of The Jews?”
34 Jesus answered him, “Are you
speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this
concerning Me?”
35 Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew?
Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What
have You done?”
36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom
is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My
servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews;
but now My kingdom is not from here.”
37 Pilate therefore said to Him,
“Are You a King then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that
I am
a King. For this cause I was
born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should
bear witness to The Truth. Everyone who is of The Truth hears My
voice.”
38 Pilate said to Him, “What is
Truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews,
and said to them, “I find no fault in Him at all.
John 6:15 NKJV
(Jesus, refused offers to make
Him a Jewish King.)
Therefore when Jesus perceived that
they were about to come and take Him by force to make Him king, He
departed again to the mountain by Himself alone.
In Roman times, for a man to claim
to be a king, meant that he was willing to usurp the very throne of
Roman Emperor (Caesar) Tiberius Claudius Nero. Would that be a crime?
Yes, a crime worthy of death!
And the Jews,
gladly stated …
Luke 23:1,2 NKJV
1 Then the whole multitude of them
arose and led Him to Pilate.
2 And they began to accuse Him,
saying, “We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding
to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.”
Saying that Jesus refused the paying of taxes, which of course was a lie...
Matthew 17:25-27
NKJV
"...And
when He had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What
do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth take customs
or taxes, from their sons or from strangers?”
26 Peter said
to Him, “From strangers.” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are
free.
27
Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and
take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its
mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them
for Me and you.”
Matthew 22:15-22
NKJV
15 Then the
Pharisees went and plotted how they might entangle Him in His talk.
16 And they
sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher,
we know that You are True, and teach The Way of God in Truth; nor do
You care about anyone, for You do not regard the person of men.
17 Tell us,
therefore, what do You think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or
not?”
18 But Jesus
perceived their wickedness, and said, “Why do you test Me, you
hypocrites?
19 Show Me the
tax money.” So they brought Him a denarius.
20 And He said
to them, “Whose image and inscription is this?”
21 They said to
Him, “Caesar’s.” And He said to them, “Render therefore to
Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are
God’s.”
22 When they
had heard these words, they marveled, and left Him and went their
way.
Jesus Christ,
God's Eternal Son:
I Timothy
6:11-15 NKJV
11 But you, O
man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness,
faith, love, patience, gentleness.
12 Fight the
good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also
called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many
witnesses.
13 I urge you
in the sight of God who gives Life to all things, and before Christ
Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate,
14 that you
keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus
Christ’s appearing,
15 which He
will manifest in His own time, He who is The Blessed And Only
Potentate, The King Of kings And Lord Of lords,
16 who alone
has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has
seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.
Revelation 1:5
KJV
And from Jesus
Christ, The Faithful Witness, The Firstborn From The Dead, and The
Ruler Over The kings of The Earth. To Him who loved us and washed
us from our sins in His own blood,
Revelation 17:14
NKJV
These will make
war with The Lamb, and The Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord
Of lords and King Of kings; and those who are with Him are
called, chosen, and faithful.”
Revelation
19:11-16 NKJV
11 Now I saw
heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was
called
Faithful And
True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
12 His eyes
were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a
name written that no one knew except Himself.
13 He was
clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word
Of God.
14 And the
armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed
Him on white horses.
15 Now out of
His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the
nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself
treads the wine press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He has
on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.
This sinless Son Of God, came to earth to take our judgment, so that we could receive His pardon.
II Corinthians
5:21 NKJV
For He made Him
who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the
righteousness of God in Him.
I Peter 2:21,22
NKJV
21 For to this
you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an
example, that you should follow His steps:
22 “Who
committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;
Do you know The Lord Jesus, is He your Savior?
Luke 19:10 NKJV
For The Son Of
Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
John 3:17 NKJV
For God did not
send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world
through Him might be saved.
Acts 5:31 NKJV
Him God has
exalted to His Right Hand to be Prince And Savior, to give repentance
to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
32 And we are
His witnesses to these things, and so also is The Holy Spirit whom
God has given to those who obey Him.”
I Timothy 1:15
NKJV
This is a
faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came
into the world to save sinners..."
Hebrews 7:25
NKJV
"... He is
also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him,
since He always lives to make intercession for them.

Bible Lesson: Answered Prayer: Samson Prays For Strength.
Bible Lesson: Answered Prayer:
Samson Prays For Strength.
Subject Of Prayer: Samson Prayed
For Strength So That He Might Take Vengeance On The Philistines.
Bible Text:
Judges 16:15-31 NLT
15 Then Delilah pouted, “How can
you tell me, ‘I love you,’ when you don’t share your secrets
with me? You’ve made fun of me three times now, and you still
haven’t told me what makes you so strong!”
16 She tormented him with her
nagging day after day until he was sick to death of it.
17 Finally, Samson shared his secret
with her. “My hair has never been cut,” he confessed, “for I
was dedicated to God as a Nazirite from birth. If my head were
shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as
anyone else.”
18 Delilah realized he had finally
told her the Truth, so she sent for the Philistine rulers. “Come
back one more time,” she said, “for he has finally told me his
secret.” So the Philistine rulers returned with the money in their
hands.
19 Delilah lulled Samson to sleep
with his head in her lap, and then she called in a man to shave off
the seven locks of his hair. In this way she began to bring him down,
and his strength left him.
20 Then she cried out, “Samson!
The Philistines have come to capture you!”
When he woke up, he thought, “I
will do as before and shake myself free.”
But he didn’t realize
The Lord had
left him.
21 So the Philistines captured him
and gouged out his eyes. They took him to Gaza, where he was bound
with bronze chains and forced to grind grain in the prison.
22 But before long, his hair began
to grow back.
23 The Philistine rulers held a
great festival, offering sacrifices and praising their god, Dagon.
They said, “Our god has given us victory over our enemy Samson!”
24 When the people saw him, they
praised their god, saying, “Our god has delivered our enemy to us!
The one who killed so many of us is now in our power!”
25 Half drunk by now, the people
demanded, “Bring out Samson so he can amuse us!” So he was
brought from the prison to amuse them, and they had him stand between
the pillars supporting the roof.
26 Samson said to the young servant
who was leading him by the hand, “Place my hands against the
pillars that hold up the temple. I want to rest against them.”
27 Now the temple was completely
filled with people. All the Philistine rulers were there, and there
were about 3,000 men and women on the roof who were watching as
Samson amused them.
28 Then Samson prayed to The
Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me again. O God, please strengthen
me just one more time. With one blow let me pay back the Philistines
for the loss of my two eyes.”
29 Then Samson put his hands on the
two center pillars that held up the temple. Pushing against them with
both hands,
30 he prayed, “Let me die with
the Philistines.” And the temple crashed down on the Philistine
rulers and all the people. So he killed more people when he died than
he had during his entire lifetime.
31 Later his brothers and other
relatives went down to get his body. They took him back home and
buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol, where his father, Manoah, was
buried. Samson had judged Israel for twenty years.
From
the end of Joshua's reign to King Saul, was a time of the Judges,
some 15 in all, who were chosen of God, from out of every tribe. Some
military leaders, but not all, wise individuals of counsel and
wisdom.
The Judges Of
Israel:
Othniel (Judges
3:9)
Ehud (Judges 3:15)
Shamgar Judges
3:31)
Deborah (Judges 4:5
)
Gideon (Judges
6:36)
Abimelech (Judges
9:1)
Tola (Judges 10:1)
Jair (Judges 10:3)
Jephtah (Judges
11:11)
Ibzan (Judges 12:8)
Elon (Judges 12:11)
Abdon (Judges
12:13)
Samson (Judges
16:30)
Eli (I Samuel 4:18)
Samuel (I Samuel
7:15)
For Israel, there
seemed to be an endless cycle of Blessing, forgetfulness, apostasy,
judgment and repentance, and restoration.
Samson had killed many
Philistines, and they had tried to learn the secret of Samson's great
strength. Delilah, greatly loved by Samson, had tried to learn his
secret, so that she could relay it to the Philistines, and finally
she succeeded.
Blind and in chains, Samson prayed once
more to The Lord for strength.
Judges 16:28-30 NLT
28 Then Samson prayed to The
Lord, “Sovereign Lord, remember me again. O God, please strengthen
me just one more time. With one blow let me pay back the Philistines
for the loss of my two eyes.”
29 Then Samson put his hands on the
two center pillars that held up the temple. Pushing against them with
both hands,
30 he prayed, “Let me die with
the Philistines.” And the temple crashed down on the Philistine
rulers and all the people. So he killed more people when he died than
he had during his entire lifetime.
God had answered Samson's prayer, and
the enemy of God's people were defeated.
Will God answer your prayer? He will if
you are His child, that's the first and most important thing to
consider.
Psalm 84:11 KJV
For The Lord God is a sun and
shield: The Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will He
withhold from them that walk uprightly.
The second is, are you asking something
that is according to His will.
James 4:2,3 NLT
"... Yet you don’t have what
you want because you don’t ask God for it.
3 And even when you ask, you don’t
get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will
give you pleasure.
The third is are you asking in faith
that God hears and will answer you?
James 1:5-8 KJV
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him
ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and
it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing
wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with
the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he
shall receive any thing of The Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in
all his ways.
Fourthly, are you
taking the time to wait upon The Lord?
Luke 11:9 KJV
And I say unto you, Ask, and it
shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be
opened unto you.

Angel Of The Lord
Bible Questions Answered:
“In the old testament I read about
the angel of the lord, who is this angel?..”
Sheila/ Prescott, Arizona U.S.A.
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
The Angel Of The Lord, is none other
than the preincarnate Lord Jesus.
Genesis 12:5-8 KJV
5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and
Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had
gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went
forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they
came.
6 And Abram passed through the land
unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite
was then in the land.
7 And The Lord appeared unto Abram,
and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he
an altar unto The Lord, who appeared unto him.
8 And he removed from thence unto a
mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel
on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar
unto The Lord, and called upon
the name of The Lord.
We know this was not just an angel, who
visited Abram, for we are told....
Revelation 19:10 NLT
9 And the angel said to me, “Write
this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the
Lamb.” And he added, “These are true words that come from God.”
10 Then I fell down at his feet to
worship him, but he said, “No, don’t worship me. I am a
servant of God, just like you and your brothers and sisters who
testify about their faith in Jesus.
Worship only God. For the
essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.”
Revelation 22:8,9 NLT
8 I, John, am the one who heard and
saw all these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to
worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me.
9 But he said, “No, don’t
worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your
brothers the prophets, as well as all who obey what is written in
this book. Worship only God!”
Genesis 16:7-11-13 KJV The Lord
finds Hagar.
7 And The Angel Of The Lord found
her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the
way to Shur.
8 And He said, Hagar, Sarai's maid,
whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee
from the face of my mistress Sarai.
9 And The Angel Of The Lord said
unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.
10 And The Angel Of The Lord said
unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be
numbered for multitude.
11 And The Angel Of The Lord said
unto her, Behold, thou art with child and shalt bear a son, and shalt
call his name Ishmael; because The Lord hath heard thy affliction.
12 And he will be a wild man; his
hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and
he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
13 And she called the name of The
Lord that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for
she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?
Hagar called The Angel Of The Lord,
God!
The Lord appeared unto Abram as a man,

Me, and be thou perfect.
The Lord, and two of His mighty angels
appeared to Abraham as men.
Genesis 18:1,2 KJV

the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the
day;
2 And he lift up his eyes and
looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran
to meet them from the tent door, and
bowed himself toward the ground,
The Angel Of God, reveals to Jacob
that He is...The God Of Bethel!
Genesis 31:11,13
KJV
11 And The Angel Of God spake
unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I.
13 I am The God Of Bethel,
where thou anointedst the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto
Me: now arise, get thee out from this land, and return unto the land
of thy kindred.
Jacob referred to The Angel, as God!
Genesis 48:15,16 NLT
15 Then he (Jacob) blessed Joseph and
said, “May the God before whom my grandfather Abraham and my
father, Isaac, walked—the God who has been my Shepherd
all my life, to this very day,
16 The Angel who has redeemed me
from all harm— may He bless these boys. May they preserve my name
and the names of Abraham and Isaac. And may their descendants
multiply greatly throughout the earth.”
The Angel Of The Lord, revealed to
Moses that He was God!
Exodus 3:1-6 KJV (Moses
worshiped The Angel Of The Lord.)
1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro
his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the
backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to
Horeb.
2 And The Angel Of The Lord appeared
unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he
looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not
consumed.
3 And Moses said, I will now turn
aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
4 And when The Lord saw that he
turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the
bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
5 And He said, Draw not nigh hither:
put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou
standest is holy ground.
6 Moreover He said, I am the God
of thy father, The God Of Abraham, The God Of Isaac, and
the God Of Jacob. And Moses
hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.
Was The Angel Of The Lord, God? Yes, for God's Word reminds us...
Isaiah 42:8 KJV
I am The Lord: that is My name: and
My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven
images.
God told Moses...
Exodus 23:20-23
NLT
20 “See, I am sending an Angel
before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the
place I have prepared for you.
21 Pay close attention to Him, and
obey His instructions. Do not rebel against Him, for He is My
representative, and He will not forgive your rebellion.
22 But if you are careful to obey
Him, following all My instructions, then I will be an enemy to your
enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you.
23 For My Angel will go
before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites,
Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, so you may live
there. And I will destroy them completely.
Gideon met The
Angel Of The Lord and exclaimed, A” Oh, Sovereign Lord.”
Judges
6:11,12;17-21 NLT
11 Then The Angel Of The Lord came
and sat beneath the great tree at Ophrah, which belonged to Joash of
the clan of Abiezer. Gideon son of Joash was threshing wheat at the
bottom of a wine press to hide the grain from the Midianites.
12 The Angel Of The Lord appeared to
him and said, “Mighty hero, The Lord is with you!”
17 Gideon replied, “If you are
truly going to help me, show me a sign to prove that it is really the
Lord speaking to me.
18 Don’t go away until I come back
and bring my offering to you.” He answered, “I will stay here
until you return.”
19 Gideon hurried home. He cooked a
young goat, and with a basket of flour he baked some bread without
yeast. Then, carrying the meat in a basket and the broth in a pot, he
brought them out and presented them to The Angel, who was under the
great tree.
20 The Angel Of God said to him,
“Place the meat and the unleavened bread on this rock, and pour the
broth over it.” And Gideon did as he was told.
21 Then The Angel Of The Lord
touched the meat and bread with the tip of the staff in His hand, and
fire flamed up from the rock and consumed all he had brought. And The
Angel Of The Lord disappeared.
22 When Gideon realized that it was
The Angel Of The Lord, he cried out, “Oh, Sovereign Lord,
I’m doomed! I have seen The Angel Of The Lord face to face!”

Gates - Spiritual
Bible Questions Answered:
“I see these words -they draw near
unto the gates of death- and where are these gates of death?...”
Nayan/ New Delhi, India
Bible Answer:
Bible Text:
Psalm 107:18 KJV
“...they draw near unto the gates
of death.”
Psalm 107:16-22 NLT
16 For He broke down their prison
gates of bronze; He cut apart their bars of iron.
17 Some were fools; they rebelled
and suffered for their sins.
18 They couldn’t stand the thought
of food, and they were knocking on death’s door.
19 “Lord, help!” they cried in
their trouble, and He saved them from their distress.
20 He sent out His Word and healed
them, snatching them from the door of death.
21 Let them praise The Lord for His
great love and for the wonderful things He has done for them.
22 Let them offer sacrifices of
thanksgiving and sing joyfully about His glorious acts.
God's people, they
faltered and failed, but when they cried out to The Lord, He rescued
them!
Psalm 107: 6 NLT
“Lord, help!” they cried in
their trouble, and He rescued them from their distress.
Gate:
A movable barrier,
usually on hinges, closing an opening in a fence, wall, or other
enclosure.
An opening
permitting passage through an enclosure.
(Dictionary.Com)
The word “gate,”
is here used metaphorically, that is a word or phrase applied to
something which it is not literally applicable, in order to suggest a
resemblance.
Jesus referred to
gates, that were “spiritual gates”:
Matthew 7:13,14
KJV
13 Enter ye in at The Strait
Gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that
leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is The Gate,
and narrow is The Way, which leadeth unto Life, and few there be
that find it.
The road to life or
death are entered by gates.
The gate referred
to here is our Choice, our Will, to Choose, what to enter, what road we
wish to go down, and become a part of.
Joshua:
Joshua 24:15 KJV
And if it seem evil unto you to
serve The Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the
gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the
flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as
for me and my house, we will serve The Lord.
Joshua, choose to
go through the gate of righteousness, and serving The Living God. He
choose to serve The Lord.
Matthew 7:13,14
NLT
13 “You can enter God’s Kingdom
only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its
gate is wide for the many who choose that way.
14 But the gateway to Life is very
narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.
In life we
spiritually choose or determine, what gate we go through.
Many on the broad
way, broad because of the millions who wish to reject God, and reject a
life of righteousness, rush head long down the spiritual broad way to
death and hell.
Some few, choose to
go through the narrow gate, choosing a life given to The Lord,
serving Him in righteousness, and obedience.
Everyday the gates
are ever before us. The broad gate, the careless, pleasureful, sinful
road with countless millions, who are blinded by sin, unaware of the
eternal fate that awaits them.
The narrow gate,
not popular, scorned and ridiculed by the world, yet approved by The
Lord Of Glory, who shall one day take His faithful servants to be
forever with Him.
Psalm 100:4 KJV
Enter into His gates with
thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him,
and bless His name.
Psalm 118:19 KJV
Open to me the gates of
righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise The Lord:
Proverbs 8:32-36
KJV
32 Now therefore hearken unto Me, O
ye children: for blessed are they that keep My ways.
33 Hear instruction, and be wise,
and refuse it not.
34 Blessed is the man that heareth
Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at the posts of My
doors.
35 For whoso findeth Me findeth
Life, and shall obtain favor of The Lord.
36 But he that sinneth against Me
wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate Me love death.
Revelation
22:12-14 KJV
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and
My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall
be.
13 I am Alpha And Omega, The
Beginning And The End, The First And The Last.
14 Blessed are they that do His
commandments, that they may have right to The Tree Of Life, and may
enter in through the gates into the city.

Bible Lesson: Answered Prayer: Samson Prays For Water.
Bible Lesson: Answered Prayer:
Samson Prays For Water.
Subject Of Prayer: A Prayer For
Water, To The God Who Gave Him Great Strength.
Bible Text: Judges 15:14-20 NLT
14 As Samson arrived at Lehi, the
Philistines came shouting in triumph. But The Spirit Of The
Lord came powerfully upon Samson, and he snapped the ropes on
his arms as if they were burnt strands of flax, and they fell from
his wrists.
15 Then he found the jawbone of a
recently killed donkey. He picked it up and killed 1,000 Philistines
with it.
16 Then Samson said, “With the
jawbone of a donkey, I’ve piled them in heaps! With the jawbone of
a donkey, I’ve killed a thousand men!”
17 When he finished his boasting, he
threw away the jawbone; and the place was named Jawbone Hill.
18 Samson was now very thirsty, and he
cried out to The Lord, “You have accomplished this great victory by
the strength of your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into
the hands of these pagans?”
19 So God caused water to gush out of a
hollow in the ground at Lehi, and Samson was revived as he drank.
Then he named that place “The Spring of the One Who Cried Out,”
and it is still in Lehi to this day.
20 Samson judged Israel for twenty
years during the period when the Philistines dominated the land.
Mighty Samson, a Judge of Israel, had
been handed over to the enemy Philistines.
From the end of
Joshua's reign to King Saul, was a time of the Judges, some 15 in
all, who were chosen of God, from out of every tribe. Some military
leaders, but not all, wise individuals of counsel and wisdom.

3:9)

Abdon (Judges
12:13)
Samson (Judges
16:30)
Eli (I Samuel 4:18)
Samuel (I Samuel
7:15)
For Israel, there
seemed to be an endless cycle of Blessing, forgefulness, apostasy,
judgment and repentance, and restoration.
Samson had slain 1,000 of the
Philistines, and he was very thirsty, and no water was to be found.
Judges 15:18 NLT
Samson was now very thirsty, and
he cried out to The Lord, “You have accomplished this great
victory by the strength of your servant. Must I now die of thirst and
fall into the hands of these pagans?”
Does God hear His
Children when they pray?
Absolutely, and he
granted Samson's request.
Judges 15:19 NLT
So God caused water to gush out of a
hollow in the ground at Lehi, and Samson was revived as he drank.
Then he named that place “The Spring of the One Who Cried Out,”
and it is still in Lehi to this day.
