Bible Questions Answered: Paul And The Lion

Bible Questions Answered:
When did Apostle Paul face the lions?
Gabriele/ Soverato, Italy

Bible Answer:

You are referring to the scripture...
II Timothy 4:17 KJV
Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

This verse, believed, by most theologians, is not a direct case of the Apostle being flung to the lions, but is a metamorphic example of how he personally had encountered the roaring madness of the evil one, through many enemies, and sorrows (Not forgetting the terror of Roman Emperor Nero.)

I Peter 5:8 KJV
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

In this chapter, itself, the Apostle mentions Alexander, the coppersmith.

II Timothy 4:14,15 NLT (Paul's warnings to Timothy.)
14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm, but the Lord will judge him for what he has done.
15 Be careful of him, for he fought against everything we said.

And then again there was the roaring lion of the Apostle's first Roman hearing, and having no witnesses to stand for him, because all had forsaken him.

II Timothy 4:16 NLT
The first time I was brought before the judge, no one came with me. Everyone abandoned me. May it not be counted against them.

II Timothy 4:9 NLT
9 Timothy, please come as soon as you can.
10 Demas has deserted me because he loves the things of this life and has gone to Thessalonica...

Demas, once a fellow worker in ministry with the Apostle.

Colossians 4:14 KJV
Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.

Philemon 24 KJV
Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellow labourers.

Tradition has it that Demas, having forsaken the Apostle, soon thereafter forsook the things of God and became a priest in a heathen temple at Thessalonica.

And others had left Paul, assuming their duties:

II Timothy 4:10 NLT
“...Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus has gone to Dalmatia.”

Though in his persecution and abandonment, the Apostle could yet say...

II Timothy 4:17,18 KJV
17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

What encouraging words by the beloved Apostle Paul, and they are true for every Christian!
Are you facing the lion today? Take comfort in the wonderful promises of our living God.

Genesis 28:15 KJV (God's promise to Jacob.)
"And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest..."

Exodus 33:14 KJV (God's promise to Moses)
And He said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

Deuteronomy 20:1 KJV (Moses to God's people)
When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Deuteronomy 33:27 KJV
The Eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and He shall thrust out the enemy from before thee..."

Joshua 1:5,6 KJV (God's promise to Joshua)
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage...”

II Samuel 22:1-4 KJV
1 And David spake unto the Lord the words of this song in the day that the Lord had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
2 And he said, The Lord is my Rock, and my Fortress, and my Deliverer;
3 The God of my Rock; in Him will I trust: He is my Shield, and the Horn of my Salvation, my High Tower, and my Refuge, my Saviour; thou savest me from violence.
4 I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Psalm 18:35 KJV
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

Psalm 28:7 KJV
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise Him.

Isaiah 41:10 KJV
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.

Isaiah 43:1-3 KJV
1 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob (God's child), and He that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art Mine.
2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
3 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour..."

Isaiah 46:4 NLT
I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.

John 14:16-18 KJV (Jesus)
16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever;
17 Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Hebrews 13:5,6 KJV
5...for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Bible Questions Answered: Saints

Bible Questions Answered:
Why were New Testament Apostles, and Evangelists, called saints?
William/ Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Bible Answer:

And don't stop the list there, Writers, and Christians, also were called saints.

New Testament Saints:

Ephesians 4:11-13 KJV
11 And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Saints:
Greek:-Hagios (Hag-ee-os): Sacred, pure, blameless, consecrated. (Abingdon's Strong's Concordance)

Were these people perfect?
No.

Why were the writers, Apostles, and Evangelists, then called saints?
In their blameless lives, when they spoke for God, they spoke by the power of God.

II Timothy 3:16 KJV
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

II Peter 1:20,21 KJV
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Jeremiah 36:1,2 KJV
1 And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,
2 Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee..."

Ezekiel 1:3 KJV
The word of the Lord came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was there upon him.

Acts 1:16 KJV
Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

Revelation 14:13 NLT
And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!”

Were these men perfect?
No, but when over taken by the Spirit of God, they spoke the very words of God. This is why we call our Bible, Hagios Biblos: The Holy Book, for it alone contains, the very words of God, to man.

Again, in the Apostle Paul's writing to the Ephesian Church (above), chapter 4:11-13 KJV.

11 And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Christians here, called “saints,” hardly meant that they were perfect, far from it, Paul said, that they needed perfecting until they all came into the very fulness of Christ.

When does that happen? Not until we are with Christ.

Psalm 17:15 KJV
As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake,
with thy likeness.

I John 3:2 KJV
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.

I Corinthians 15:35-58 KJV
35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased Him, and to every seed his own body.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening Spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the Second Man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Are you a Christian, one of God's saints?
They you have a special calling....

I Corinthians 1:1,2 The Message
I, Paul, have been called and sent by Jesus, the Messiah, according to God's plan, along with my friend Sosthenes. I send this letter to you in God's church at Corinth,
believers cleaned up by Jesus and set apart for a God-filled life.
I include in my greeting all who call out to Jesus, wherever they live. He's their Master as well as ours!

Bible Lesson: Miracles Of Jesus-Jairus' Daughter Raised Up From The Dead

Bible Lesson: Miracles of Jesus.

Jairus' Daughter Raised Up From The Dead

Location: West of Galilee.

Text: Mark 5:21-24, 35-43 (Matthew 9:18,19, 23-26/ Luke 8:41,42, 49-56)
21 And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto Him: and He was nigh unto the sea.
22 And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw Him, he fell at His feet,
23 And besought Him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed Him, and thronged Him.
35 While He yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
37 And He suffered no man to follow Him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
38 And He cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
39 And when He was come in, He saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
40 And they laughed Him to scorn. But when He had put them all out, He taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with Him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
41 And He took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.
43 And He charged them straitly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

Jesus had travel across the Sea of Galilee, to the land of the Gerasenes, and then back across the lake, and the people were there waiting for Him.

Luke 8:40 KJV
And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received Him: for they were all waiting for Him.
Jarius, a chief ruler of a local synagog, came greeting Jesus, with an urgent request.

Mark 5:21-24 KJV
21 And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto Him: and He was nigh unto the sea.
22 And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw Him, he fell at His feet,
23 And besought Him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed Him, and thronged Him.

Notice, how that Jairus, didn't go to the Scribes and Phairsees, but to Jesus (Matthew 23).

When we are in need, real need, it will do no good to run to skeptics, atheists, and infidels!
Jairus, as a ruler of a Jewish synagog, put his reputation on the line, by running to Jesus, for the love of his life, his young daughter meant much, much more than, spurious theological disputations.

Jairus, “fell at His feet, And besought Him greatly, (22,23).

Psalm 95:6,7 KJV
6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
7 For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand...

Daniel 6:10 KJV
"...(Daniel) kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God..."

Ephesians 3:14 KJV
"(Apostle Paul)... I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Friend, whether we need anything from the Master or not, it is good for us to kneel before the Lord our God.

Jairus, openly for all to see, bowed himself upon his knees to the Lord Jesus.
And Jesus heard him, “ And Jesus went with him (verse 24).”

I Peter 5:7 KJV
Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.

Isaiah 41:10 KJV
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness.

Isaiah 46:4 NLT
I will be your God throughout your lifetime— until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you.

Mark 5:35,36 KJV
35 While He yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further?
36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
Always in life we have options before us, believe, give up in despair, or loose our faith.
How the wily enemy longs to see us loose faith.

Psalm 56:3 KJV
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Isaiah 12:2 KJV
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation.

Luke 22:31,32 KJV
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not..."
And today, our great intercessor High Priest, the Lord Jesus intercedes on our behalf, that our faith, fail not.

Romans 8:15 KJV
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of Adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

II Timothy 1:7 KJV
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

I John 4:18 KJV
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment.
He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Mark 5:37,38 KJV
37 And He suffered no man to follow Him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
38 And He cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.

When Jairus arrived at his home, many mourners, were weeping and wailing.

Matthew 9:23 KJV
"...the minstrels and the people making a noise,"

Luke 8:52 KJV
"And all wept, and bewailed her..."

It was not uncommon in a situation such as this for a family to have paid, mourners, who piped and who wailed, in sorrow.

Jesus turned back the crowds and even some of His disciples, before the work of faith could take place.

Matthew 13:58 KJV
And He did not many mighty works there (Nazareth) because of their unbelief.

Matthew 17:19,20 KJV
19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Mark 5:39-43 KJV

Death to Jesus was as sleep.
The early church buried their members in the catacombs of Rome, with epitaphs as “At rest with the Lord,” “ Asleep in the Lord.”

John 19:11-45 KJV
19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him: but Mary sat still in the house.
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24 Martha saith unto Him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die. Believest thou this?
27 She saith unto Him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
28 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.
29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto Him.
30 Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met Him.
31 The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.
32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying unto Him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, He groaned in the spirit, and was troubled.
34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto Him, Lord, come and see.
35 Jesus wept.
36 Then said the Jews, Behold how He loved him!
37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in Himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto Him, Lord, by this time he stinketh:for he hath been dead four days.
40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard Me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest Me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent Me.
43 And when He thus had spoken, He cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on Him.

Revelation 1:12-18 KJV
12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And He had in His right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and His countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18 I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen;
and have the keys of hell and of death.

Mark 5:42 KJV
And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

Jairus' faith, had seen the power of God, raise his daughter!

Isaiah 26:4 KJV
Trust ye in the Lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:

Romans 1:17 KJV
"...The just shall live by faith."

I John 5:4 KJV
For whatsoever is born of God over cometh the world: and this is the victory that over cometh the world, even our faith.

Bible Questions Answered: Anti-Christ-Revelation

Bible Questions Answered:
Will we come to know just who the Anti Christ is, before the rapture?
Cheryl/ Chicago, Illinois

Bible Answer:

No.

II Thessalonians 2:1-8 KJV
1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what (who) with holdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He who now letteth will let, until He be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:

II Thessalonians 2:1-4, 8 NLT
1 Now, dear brothers and sisters, let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet Him.
2 Don’t be so easily shaken or alarmed by those who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Don’t believe them, even if they claim to have had a spiritual vision, a revelation, or a letter supposedly from us.
3 Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one who brings destruction.
4 He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.
5 Don’t you remember that I told you about all this when I was with you?
6 And you know what (Who) is holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his time comes.
7 For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way.
8 Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed, but the Lord Jesus will kill him with the breath of His mouth and destroy him by the splendor of His coming.

The Anti-Christ, cannot be known or his rebellion fully realized until the church of the Lord Jesus Christ has been taken out of this world.

Revelation 3:8,10 KJV (Christ's promise to the Philadelphia Church.)
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My word, and hast not denied My name.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Today, God the Holy Spirit, holds this evil force back, but the day is coming when after the rapture of the church, He will no longer be a restraining force of evil in the world. This world, will become completely Godless, full of sin, lawless, with open rebellion.

“For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and it will remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out of the way. (verse 7)”

If the Spirit of God, will be taken out of the way, then so too will the people of God, who have the Spirit of God, dwelling within them!

Romans 8:9 KJV
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.
Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

I Corinthians 3:16 KJV
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

After the Spirit of God, and the Church of Jesus Christ, have been taken out of the way, then the Anti-Christ is revealed.

II Thessalonians 2:8 NLT
“ Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed...”

After the rapture of the church, believers will know who the Anti-Christ is, but from the safety of heaven. Unbelievers will come to know him immediately on earth, appearing to them as a great and fearless leader.
A leader who will initially band together ten nations under his ruler ship, later he will over come three , to ultimately have a seven nation confederacy, with himself as it's head.

He will make a seven year peace treaty with Israel, they thinking him their long awaited Messiah, but he will break his promise in the middle of the pact, revealing to all, the devil that he really is.

II Corinthians 6:2 KJV
(For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee:
behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Bible Questions Answered: Great Tribulation

Bible Questions Answered:
What happens to the Jews during the tribulation?
Mandek/ Poznan, Poland

Bible Answer:

Immediately after the resurrection (The Secret Catching Away) of the Church of Jesus Christ,
a man, enters the world scene, making alliances with peace as his promise.

See the post: Tribulation
Daniel 11:21,36-39 KJV
21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, ...

Will Israel, the Jewish people, want anything to do with a man who would willingly spit on the name of Jesus Christ?

and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
39 Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

The Anti-Christ will make a covenant of peace with the nations of Israel.

Daniel 9:27 KJV
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (A week of years, thus 7 years): and in the midst of the week (After 3 1/2 years) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

In the midst of the covenant with Israel, the Anti-Christ shows his true colors.
He throws out the Jewish sacrifices out of the temple, along with it's ark, and with the false prophet, sets up and image of himself in the temple, so as to receive worship, this is the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel, and our Lord.

Daniel 11:31 KJV
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Daniel 11:31 NLT
His army will take over the Temple fortress, pollute the sanctuary, put a stop to the daily sacrifices, and set up the sacrilegious object that causes desecration.

Matthew 24:15,16 KJV
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

II Thessalonians 2:3-11 KJV
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what (Who) withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He (God the Holy Spirit) who now letteth will let, until He be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

And “flee into the mountains” that is just what the Jews will do, for they know only too well, no earthly man can be God!
They will flee to the hills of Petra to hide from the wrath of the Anti-Christ.
In their great oppression, they will realize, that all along, Christ, was indeed the very Son of God.
They will weep and wail in true repentance.

Revelation 1:7 KJV
Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the
earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Isaiah 49:26 KJV
"...and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob."

Hosea 8:1,2 KJV
1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the Lord, because they have transgressed My covenant, and trespassed against My law.
2 Israel shall cry unto Me, My God, we know thee.

During this last 3 ½ years of the tribulation, known as the “Great Tribulation,” many will pay with their very lives for not receiving the mark of the beast.

Revelation 13:15 KJV
And he (False Prophet) had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Revelation 20:4 KJV
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

During this time God will raise up 144,000 Jewish evangelists proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 7:4 KJV
And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

And they will not be alone.

Revelation 14:6 KJV
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Will they be successful?
Multitudes will come to the Lord!

Isaiah 2:2,4 KJV
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
4 And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Isaiah 60:3 KJV
And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Isaiah 62:2 KJV
And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

Matthew 13:47-50 KJV
47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 24:13 KJV
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Matthew 25:31-33 KJV
31 When the Son of Man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory:
32 And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a
shepherd divideth His sheep from the goats:
33 And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.

“But, Pastor, how can this be, the Holy Spirit has been taken from off the earth!”

II Thessalonians 2:7 KJV
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He (God the Holy spirit) who now letteth will let, until He be taken out of the way.

How very careful, we must be in interpreting the Word of the Lord.
There is no place that God is not, that is one of the characteristics of God, that He is Omnipresent, that is everywhere present!

Deuteronomy 4:39 KJV
Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord He is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

Psalm 139:8 KJV
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

Proverbs 15:3 KJV
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Isaiah 66:1 KJV
Thus saith the Lord, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto Me? and where is the place of My rest?

Jeremiah 23:24 KJV
Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.

Acts 17:27 KJV
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us:

The Holy Spirit is not taken from the earth, His office, as a “restrainer,” against evil, is changed.

II Thessalonians 2:6,7 KJV
6 And now ye know what (Who) withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only He (God the Holy Spirit) who now letteth will let, until He be taken out of the way.

After the rapture of the church, God the Holy Spirit, will no longer hold back evil in the earth, truly this will be The Day of Jacobs Trouble, a time of Great Tribulation.

Matthew 24:22 KJV
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:
but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

The Tribulation period ends with the biggest battle ever, the battle of Armageddon, which concludes with the Second Coming of Christ.

Bible Lesson: Miracles Of Jesus-Woman With Issue Of Blood Healed

Bible Lesson: Miracles Of Jesus-Woman With The Issue Of Blood Healed

Bible Location: Capernaum.

Bible Text: Mark 5:25-34 KJV (Matthew 9:20-22/ Luke 8:43-48)
25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched His garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that virtue had gone out of Him, turned Him about in the press, and said, Who touched My clothes?
31 And His disciples said unto Him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
32 And He looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before Him, and told Him all the truth.
34 And He said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

In this story we are told about an unknown Jewish woman, who had been sick, with an unending issue of blood for some twelve years.

In the book of Leviticus we read, that she was accordingly “unclean,” by orthodox standards. She could not go to the temple to worship, nor be in the company of her relatives.

Leviticus 15:25 NLT
If a woman has a flow of blood for many days that is unrelated to her menstrual period, or if the blood continues beyond the normal period, she is ceremonially unclean. As during her menstrual period, the woman will be unclean as long as the discharge continues.

Mark writes that the woman “had suffered many things.”
Oh the suffering of sickness.

Though in the oppression of pain, yet this woman, out of an instinct of survival, reached out to the physicians of her day.

She had gone to “...many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,”

Truly, there is only one who understand the working intricacies of human soul, spirit, and body, and that is the Creator.

Psalm 139:13-18 KJV
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in
continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

Psalm 148:5 KJV
Let them praise the name of the Lord: for He commanded, and they were created.

Malachi 2:10 KJV
Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us?..."

The woman, had no doubt heard about Jesus, the miracle worker, who claimed to be God's Son.
She had absolutely nothing to loose, she would go to Him.
She knew she couldn't approach a holy man personally for she was unclean, yet she thought within herself “If I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole.”

This woman, was not wealthy, for she “ had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,”

She wasn't a person of any notoriety, on the contrary, she was poor and for the most part unknown.
And yet, she possessed something more valuable than all these, for she had a heart filled with faith, that she would find the answer she needed, and she believed, Jesus, was that answer she had need all along.

Would early believers have endorsed her actions? Yes.

Our living God, knows and cares for His people:

Psalm 103:13-17 NLT
13 The Lord is like a father to His children, tender and compassionate to those who fear Him.
14 For He knows how weak we are; He remembers we are only dust.

16 The wind blows, and we are gone— as though we had never been here.
17 But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear Him.

14 So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.
15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin.
16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

I Peter 5:7 KJV
Casting all your care upon Him; for he careth for you.

Mark 5:32-34 KJV

Dear friend, let's have faith in God!

Matthew 21:22 KJV
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Mark 9:23 KJV
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

I John 5:4;14,15 KJV
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
14 And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us:
15 And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

Bible Questions Answered: Heathen Saved?

Bible Questions Answered:
Pastor I have tried to get the following question answered, but with no good response, what can you tell me regarding the heathen, who have never heard God's message, what happens to them?
Raidon/ Shinjuku, Japan

Bible Answer:

This is a question that has been asked for centuries, so is nothing new.

First of all let us begin by saying that all men, created in the image of God, have a conscience, which understands, by seeing “the gospel of nature,”earth and the starry sky above, the greatness of the Creator.

Romans 1:18-22 NLT
18 But God shows His anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.
19 They know the truth about God because He has made it obvious to them.
20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship Him as God or even give Him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused.
22 Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools.

John 1:1-4,9 KJV
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Romans 2:14,26,27 NLT
14 Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know His law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it.
26 And if the Gentiles obey God’s law, won’t God declare them to be His own people?
27 In fact, uncircumcised Gentiles who keep God’s law will condemn you Jews who are circumcised and possess God’s law but don’t obey it.

Matthew 11:20-24 NLT (Christ's message to Korazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum.)
20 Then Jesus began to denounce the towns where He had done so many of His miracles, because they hadn’t repented of their sins and turned to God.
21 “What sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! For if the miracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on their heads to show their remorse.
22 I tell you, Tyre and Sidon will be better off on judgment day than you.
23 “And you people of Capernaum, will you be honored in heaven? No, you will go down to the place of the dead. For if the miracles I did for you had been done in wicked Sodom, it would still be here today.
24 I tell you, even Sodom will be better off on judgment day than you.”

Surely one thing may be said here, the peoples of Tyre, Sidon, and Sodom who were wicked and yet ignorant, will be dealt with more mercifully than, Korazin, Bethsaida, and Capernaum, who saw the Son of God, and the works of God, and yet did not repent!

Which leads us to another most interesting scripture.

Luke 12:42-48 KJV
42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Is there “Second-Chance-Salvation” after death? Absolutely not!
But, we are not, to say, what the mercy of God is towards, those who have never heard the gospel, and have died!

Justin Martyr, Clement, and Zwingle, held that those who lived, according to the good they knew, and died in ignorance, they would, indeed be forgiven and saved.

That these, would fall under Divine Mercy, seems to be the case, just as to what that mercy extends to, is for us today, uncertain at best.

Now, can't you hear some poor misguided soul say, well, if that's the case, we don't need to worry about evangelism.

Except, we as Christians have been commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ to evangelize the world!

Mark 16:15 KJV
And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Luke 24:45-47 KJV
45 Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Romans 10:10 NLT
For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

Why, should we evangelize?
Man has been created to bring glory to God!
How can unregenerate man bring praise and glory to the God, if he is ignorant of Him?
Answer, he cannot.

Christians our call is clear, confession of our faith, regardless of the cost!

Revelation 12:11 KJV
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

And for those who are not sure,....

Ezekiel 3:17-21 NLT
16 After seven days the Lord gave me (Ezekiel) a message. He said,
17 “Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman for Israel (And for us, the world). Whenever you receive a message from Me, warn people immediately.
18 If I warn the wicked, saying, ‘You are under the penalty of death,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths.
19 If you warn them and they refuse to repent and keep on sinning, they will die in their sins. But you will have saved yourself because you obeyed Me.

20 “If righteous people turn away from their righteous behavior and ignore the obstacles I put in their way, they will die. And if you do not warn them, they will die in their sins. None of their righteous acts will be remembered, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths.
21 But if you warn righteous people not to sin and they listen to you and do not sin, they will live, and you will have saved yourself, too.”

Bible Questions Answered: Speak Evil Of No Man

Bible Questions Answered:
What did Paul mean by not speaking bad of anyone, some people are bad!
Heidi/ Decatur, Alabama

Bible Answer:

Bible Text:
Titus 3:1-3 KJV
1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

Titus 3:1-3 NLT
1 Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good.
2 They must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to everyone.
3 Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other.

And again the Apostle's words to the Romans.
Romans 13:1-7 NLT
1 Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.
2 So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished.
3 For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you.
4 The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong.
5 So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience.
6 Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do.
7 Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority.

The Apostle Paul, was teaching Titus, that there must remain, a “difference,” between the unregenerate soul, and Christian, people who have been born again by the Spirit of God!

Oh how willing the unregenerate soul is to slander his brother.

Whether it be in government, or in the church , the Apostle told Titus “Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good.”

Whether we agree, with governments or leaders, it not the question, Christians are different than unregenerate, mankind! Christian people are to be “gentle, showing all meekness unto all men.”

Look at the bedfellows, the Apostle has placed those who love dissension (disagreement), and quarreling, with!

Galatians 5:19-26 NLT
19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension (violent disagreements), division,
21 envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these.
Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there.
25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
26 Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.

James 4:10-12 KJV
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.
11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

James 4:10-12 NLT
10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up in honor.
11 Don’t speak evil against each other, dear brothers and sisters. If you criticize and judge each other, then you are criticizing and judging God’s law. But your job is to obey the law, not to judge whether it applies to you.
12 God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor?

I Peter 2:21-23 KJV
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us,
leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth:
23 Who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously:

In a world of no-self-restraint, and individuals who live to fight and quarrel, Christians are to shine forth as a beacon of righteousness.

Are there are times we as Christian may object, to laws and or government?
Yes.

Acts 4:16-20 NLT
16 “What should we do with these men?” they asked each other. “We can’t deny that they have performed a miraculous sign, and everybody in Jerusalem knows about it.
17 But to keep them from spreading their propaganda any further, we must warn them not to speak to anyone in Jesus’ name again.”
18 So they called the apostles back in and commanded them never again to speak or teach in the name of Jesus.
19 But Peter and John replied, “Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than Him?
20 We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard.”

Acts 5:26-29 NLT
26 The captain went with his Temple guards and arrested the apostles, but without violence, for they were afraid the people would stone them.
27 Then they brought the apostles before the high council, where the high priest confronted them.
28 “Didn’t we tell you never again to teach in this man’s name?” he demanded. “Instead, you have filled all Jerusalem with your teaching about Him, and you want to make us responsible for His death!”
29 But Peter and the apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than any human authority.

If our differences are over other things, other than our Christian beliefs, then we are to voice our opinions at the ballot box, or in the press, etc. but certainly not in a slanderous way!

Loving Christian Correction:
Matthew 18:15-17 KJV
15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

Titus 3:2 KJV
“... gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.”

Galatians 5:22-25 NLT
22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to His cross and crucified them there.
25 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.

Answer: It Is A Warning!

Please read the above entries.

The Jews, are God's chosen people:

Zechariah 2:8 KJV
"For thus saith the Lord of Hosts... he that toucheth you (Israel) toucheth the apple of His eye."

Russia, and her allies (Ezekiel 38:5 Iran/ Ethiopia, North Africa/ Libya, North Africa), will meet with an terrible end, when they plan to destroy Israel, the Word of the Lord says so!
Today, while they make their secret plans, He warns them.

Ezekiel 38:1-23 New Living Translation:
1 This is another message that came to me from the Lord:
2 “Son of man, turn and face Gog of the land of Magog, the prince who rules over the nations of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him.
3 Give him this message from the Sovereign Lord: Gog, I am your enemy!
4 I will turn you around and put hooks in your jaws to lead you out with your whole army—your horses and charioteers in full armor and a great horde armed with shields and swords.
5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya will join you, too, with all their weapons.
6 Gomer and all its armies will also join you, along with the armies of Beth-togarmah from the distant north, and many others.
7 “Get ready; be prepared! Keep all the armies around you mobilized, and take command of them.
8 A long time from now you will be called into action. In the distant future you will swoop down on the land of Israel, which will be enjoying peace after recovering from war and after its people have returned from many lands to the mountains of Israel.
9 You and all your allies—a vast and awesome army—will roll down on them like a storm and cover the land like a cloud.
10 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: At that time evil thoughts will come to your mind, and you will devise a wicked scheme.
11 You will say, ‘Israel is an unprotected land filled with unwalled villages! I will march against her and destroy these people who live in such confidence!
12 I will go to those formerly desolate cities that are now filled with people who have returned from exile in many nations. I will capture vast amounts of plunder, for the people are rich with livestock and other possessions now. They think the whole world revolves around them!’
13 But Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish will ask, ‘Do you really think the armies you have gathered can rob them of silver and gold? Do you think you can drive away their livestock and seize their goods and carry off plunder?’
14 “Therefore, son of man, prophesy against Gog. Give him this message from the Sovereign Lord: When My people are living in peace in their land, then you will rouse yourself.
15 You will come from your homeland in the distant north with your vast cavalry and your mighty army,
16 and you will attack My people Israel, covering their land like a cloud. At that time in the distant future, I will bring you against My land as everyone watches, and My holiness will be displayed by what happens to you, Gog. Then all the nations will know that I am the Lord.
17 “This is what the Sovereign Lord asks: Are you the one I was talking about long ago, when I announced through Israel’s prophets that in the future I would bring you against My people?
18 But this is what the Sovereign Lord says: When Gog invades the land of Israel, My fury will boil over!
19 In My jealousy and blazing anger, I promise a mighty shaking in the land of Israel on that day.
20 All living things—the fish in the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, the small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the people on earth—will quake in terror at My presence. Mountains will be thrown down; cliffs will crumble; walls will fall to the earth.
21 I will summon the sword against you on all the hills of Israel, says the Sovereign Lord. Your men will turn their swords against each other.
22 I will punish you and your armies with disease and bloodshed; I will send torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and burning sulfur!
23 In this way, I will show My greatness and holiness, and I will make Myself known to all the nations of the world. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

Ezekiel 39:1-29 New Living Translation
1 “Son of man, prophesy against Gog. Give him this message from the Sovereign Lord: I am your enemy, O Gog, ruler of the nations of Meshech and Tubal - (The prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.)
2 I will turn you around and drive you toward the mountains of Israel, bringing you from the distant north.
3 I will knock the bow from your left hand and the arrows from your right hand, and I will leave you helpless.
4 You and your army and your allies will all die on the mountains. I will feed you to the vultures and wild animals.
5 You will fall in the open fields, for I have spoken, says the Sovereign Lord.
6 And I will rain down fire on Magog and on all your allies who live safely on the coasts. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
7 “In this way, I will make known My Holy Name among My people of Israel. I will not let anyone bring shame on it. And the nations, too, will know that I am the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.
8 That day of judgment will come, says the Sovereign Lord. Everything will happen just as I have declared it.
9 “Then the people in the towns of Israel will go out and pick up your small and large shields, bows and arrows, javelins and spears, and they will use them for fuel. There will be enough to last them seven years!
10 They won’t need to cut wood from the fields or forests, for these weapons will give them all the fuel they need. They will plunder those who planned to plunder them, and they will rob those who planned to rob them, says the Sovereign Lord.
11 “And I will make a vast graveyard for Gog and his hordes in the Valley of the Travelers, east of the Dead Sea. It will block the way of those who travel there, and they will change the name of the place to the Valley of Gog’s Hordes.
12 It will take seven months for the people of Israel to bury the bodies and cleanse the land.
13 Everyone in Israel will help, for it will be a glorious victory for Israel when I demonstrate My glory on that day, says the Sovereign Lord.
14 “After seven months, teams of men will be appointed to search the land for skeletons to bury, so the land will be made clean again.
15 Whenever bones are found, a marker will be set up so the burial crews will take them to be buried in the Valley of Gog’s Hordes.
16 (There will be a town there named Hamonah, which means ‘horde.’) And so the land will finally be cleansed.
17 “And now, son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Call all the birds and wild animals. Say to them: Gather together for my great sacrificial feast. Come from far and near to the mountains of Israel, and there eat flesh and drink blood!
18 Eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of princes as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls—all fattened animals from Bashan!
19 Gorge yourselves with flesh until you are glutted; drink blood until you are drunk. This is the sacrificial feast I have prepared for you.
20 Feast at My banquet table—feast on horses and charioteers, on mighty men and all kinds of valiant warriors, says the Sovereign Lord.
21 “In this way, I will demonstrate My glory to the nations. Everyone will see the punishment I have inflicted on them and the power of My fist when I strike.
22 And from that time on the people of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God.
23 The nations will then know why Israel was sent away to exile—it was punishment for sin, for they were unfaithful to their God. Therefore, I turned away from them and let their enemies destroy them.
24 I turned My face away and punished them because of their defilement and their sins.
25 “So now, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will end the captivity of My people; I will have mercy on all Israel, for I jealously guard My Holy reputation!
26 They will accept responsibility for their past shame and unfaithfulness after they come home to live in peace in their own land, with no one to bother them.
27 When I bring them home from the lands of their enemies, I will display My Holiness among them for all the nations to see.
28 Then My people will know that I am the Lord their God, because I sent them away to exile and brought them home again. I will leave none of My people behind.
29 And I will never again turn My face from them, for I will pour out My Spirit upon the people of Israel. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!”

God, knows only too well the secret plans of men:

Psalm 90:8 KJV
Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

Jeremiah 16:17 KJV
For Mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from My face, neither is their iniquity hid from Mine eyes.

Jeremiah 17:10 KJV
I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings.

Jeremiah 23:23,24 KJV
23 Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off?
24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.

Ezekiel 11:5 KJV
"And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the Lord...for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them."

Hosea 7:2 KJV
And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before My face.

I Chronicles 28:9 KJV
"...for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts..."

Today's heat wave, fires, crop losses, and human death tool, are warnings from God, to the leaders of a country who are making secret pacts with the enemies of Israel.

The Wrath of God:

Psalm 7:11 KJV
God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

Psalm 69:22-28 KJV
22 Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
24 Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
25 Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
27 Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

Psalm 78:49,50 KJV
49 He cast upon them the fierceness of His anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.
50 He made a way to His anger; He spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;

Proverbs 1:22-27 KJV
22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
23 Turn you at My reproof: behold, I will pour out My Spirit unto you, I will make known My words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out My hand, and no man regarded;
25 But ye have set at nought all My counsel, and would none of My reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

Isaiah 1:4-7 KJV
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire..."

Isaiah 13:5 KJV
They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of His indignation, to destroy the whole land.

Isaiah 26:21 KJV
For, behold, the Lord cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Isaiah 30:27 KJV
27 Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with His anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: His lips are full of indignation, and His tongue as a devouring fire:
28 And His breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.

Jeremiah 10:10 KJV
But the Lord is the true God, He is the living God, and an Everlasting King: at His wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide His indignation.

Jeremiah 25:15,16 NLT
15 This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, said to me: “Take from My hand this cup filled to the brim with My anger, and make all the nations to whom I send you drink from it.
16 When they drink from it, they will stagger, crazed by the warfare I will send against them.”

Jeremiah 30:23,24 KJV
23 Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.
24 The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return, until He hath done it, and until He have performed the intents of His heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.

Nahum 1:2-6 KJV
2 God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserveth wrath for His enemies.
3 The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of His feet.
4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth.
5 The mountains quake at Him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at His presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
6 Who can stand before His indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of His anger? His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by Him.

Romans 1:18 KJV
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Ephesians 5:6 KJV
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Hebrews 10:26,27,31 KJV
26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Don't think that Almighty God, needs a people, or a nation, to protect His chosen people Israel!
God is the protector of Israel, He always has been and He always will be!

Psalm 121:4-8 KJV
4 Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
