Ezekiel's invasion has the Soviet Union and five other nations (not the whole world.)

[5] Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

In the Armageddon war..Anti-Christ, and the False Prophet are on the scene.
Revelation 13:7,8 speak of “all the nations
[7] And it was given unto him (Ant-Christ) to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him (Anti-Christ) over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
[8] And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (Anti-Christ), whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
In the battle of Armageddon, Rev. 16:13,14 the Kings of the earth will be gathered together of fight.
[13] And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon (Satan), and out of the mouth of the beast (Anti-Christ), and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
[14] For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Revelation 13:7 says “And it was given unto him (the Anti-Christ) to make war with the saints (Tribulation believers), and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
Ezekiel's War:
Ezekiel 38: only lists 5 nations as opposed to Revelations “all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”

Gog, the Prince, comes from Magog, a country that is from the North.
Anti-Christ does not come from the Soviet Union, nor does he appear in Ezekiel's War.
Daniel 7:8,24,26 KJV
[8] I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
[24] And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
[26] But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
According to Daniel, the “Beast,” comes out of the Revived Roman Empire, not the Soviet Union.

Armageddon is fought at Megiddo-the valley of Jehoshaphat.
(Revelation 9:13-21/ 16:12,16). The Euphrates river will be dried up to make this possible.
World War III (Ezekiel 38:1-23; - 39:1-16)
A battle fought in the mountains north of Israel
A battle fought on land and in the air: It has been said, that Russia has well over 1.2 million troops, 6,000 tanks and some 1,700 combat aircraft.
Ezekiel 38:9 describes an air, plane or missile attack.
The Soviet Union, is known for it's Cossacks. The Cossacks, Russian, Ukraine, and Polish, peasants, living in communal settlements, served the Czars in the cavalry. As far back as 1953 Russia had 16 million horses.

Russia will be destroyed by one of the “young lions,” Ezekiel 38:13.

At the fall of Rome, empires fell, and colonial powers rose.

England”s long standing symbol has been the Lion.
“Young Lions,” or the children of Britain were, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, and the United States.
World War III – Players:
The Land of Magog: Russia. Only 1/6th of the army shall escape.

[13] Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
Before, during,or after this war: The Rapture of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Israel, will be seven months burying the dead, and seven years burning all the weapons of the war. (3 ½ years after the war/ first 3 ½ years of the tribulation.)
Ezekiel 39:9-16 KJV
[9] And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
[10] So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
[11] And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog (The Multitude of Gog).
[12] And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land.
[13] Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.
[14] And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.
[15] And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog.
[16] And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah (Multitude). Thus shall they cleanse the land.
The Seven year “Tribulation,” starts.
The Anti-Christ, and the False Prophet will be revealed
After three and one half years, the Abomination of Desolation, will take place (Anti-Christ, will sit in the temple, proclaiming himself to be god.)
Armageddon War:
This war takes place at the end of the seven year tribulation period.

A battle fought in the valley of Megiddo, into the plains of jezreel.
Weapons: Nuclear-Neutron Bomb, destroys flesh, but not buildings. Zechariah 14:12
Kings from the East (and Oriental army, some 200million strong.), travel to Megiddo.
(Revelation 9:13-21/ 16:12,16). The Euphrates river will be dried up to make this possible.
While their confederates Iran, Ethiopia, and Libya (Persia, Cush, & Put) are readily identifiable, these two names Meschech and Tubal are closely linked to Gog.
Jeremiah 25:29-38 NLB
25 and to the kings of Zimri, Elam, and Media.
26 And I gave it to the kings of the northern countries, far and near, one after the other—all the kingdoms of the world. And finally, the king of Babylon himself drank from the cup of the LORD's anger.
27 Then the LORD said to me, "Now tell them, 'This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies, the God of Israel, says: Drink from this cup of my anger. Get drunk and vomit; fall to rise no more, for I am sending terrible wars against you.'
28 And if they refuse to accept the cup, tell them, 'The LORD of Heaven's Armies says: You have no choice but to drink from it.
29 I have begun to punish Jerusalem, the city that bears my name. Now should I let you go unpunished? No, you will not escape disaster. I will call for war against all the nations of the earth. I, the LORD of Heaven's Armies, have spoken!'
30 "Now prophesy all these things, and say to them,
"'The LORD will roar against His own land
from His holy dwelling in heaven.
He will shout like those who tread grapes;
He will shout against everyone on earth.
31 His cry of judgment will reach the ends of the earth,
for the LORD will bring His case against all the nations.
He will judge all the people of the earth,
slaughtering the wicked with the sword.
I, the LORD, have spoken!'"
32 This is what the LORD of Heaven's Armies says:
"Look! Disaster will fall upon nation after nation!
A great whirlwind of fury is rising
from the most distant corners of the earth!"
33 In that day those the LORD has slaughtered will fill the earth from one end to the other. No one will mourn for them or gather up their bodies to bury them. They will be scattered on the ground like manure.
34 Weep and moan, you evil shepherds!
Roll in the dust, you leaders of the flock!
The time of your slaughter has arrived;
you will fall and shatter like a fragile vase.
35 You will find no place to hide;
there will be no way to escape.
36 Listen to the frantic cries of the shepherds.
The leaders of the flock are wailing in despair,
for the LORD is ruining their pastures.
37 Peaceful meadows will be turned into a wasteland
by the LORD's fierce anger.
38 He has left His den like a strong lion seeking its prey,
and their land will be made desolate
by the sword of the enemy
and the LORD's fierce anger.
Zechariah 14:1-21 KJV
1 Watch, for the day of the LORD is coming when your possessions will be plundered right in front of you!
2 I will gather all the nations to fight against Jerusalem. The city will be taken, the houses looted, and the women raped. Half the population will be taken into captivity, and the rest will be left among the ruins of the city.
3 Then the LORD will go out to fight against those nations, as he has fought in times past.
4 On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south.
5 You will flee through this valley, for it will reach across to Azal. Yes, you will flee as you did from the earthquake in the days of King Uzziah of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all His holy ones with Him.
6 On that day the sources of light will no longer shine,
7 yet there will be continuous day! Only the LORD knows how this could happen. There will be no normal day and night, for at evening time it will still be light.
8 On that day life-giving waters will flow out from Jerusalem, half toward the Dead Sea and half toward the Mediterranean, flowing continuously in both summer and winter.
9 And the LORD will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one LORD—his name alone will be worshiped.
10 All the land from Geba, north of Judah, to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become one vast plain. But Jerusalem will be raised up in its original place and will be inhabited all the way from the Benjamin Gate over to the site of the old gate, then to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king's winepresses.
11 And Jerusalem will be filled, safe at last, never again to be cursed and destroyed.
12 And the LORD will send a plague on all the nations that fought against Jerusalem. Their people will become like walking corpses, their flesh rotting away. Their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.
13 On that day they will be terrified, stricken by the LORD with great panic. They will fight their neighbors hand to hand.
14 Judah, too, will be fighting at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the neighboring nations will be captured—great quantities of gold and silver and fine clothing.
15 This same plague will strike the horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all the other animals in the enemy camps.
16 In the end, the enemies of Jerusalem who survive the plague will go up to Jerusalem each year to worship the King, the LORD of Heaven's Armies, and to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.
17 Any nation in the world that refuses to come to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Heaven's Armies, will have no rain.
18 If the people of Egypt refuse to attend the festival, the LORD will punish them with the same plague that He sends on the other nations who refuse to go.
19 Egypt and the other nations will all be punished if they don't go to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.
20 On that day even the harness bells of the horses will be inscribed with these words: HOLY TO THE LORD. And the cooking pots in the Temple of the LORD will be as sacred as the basins used beside the altar.
21 In fact, every cooking pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD of Heaven's Armies. All who come to worship will be free to use any of these pots to boil their sacrifices. And on that day there will no longer be traders* in the Temple of the LORD of Heaven's Armies.
Revelation 14:14-20 NASB
14.Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was one like a son of man, having a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand.
15.And another angel came out of the temple, crying out with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, "Put in your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe."
16.Then He who sat on the cloud swung His sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped.
17.And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, and he also had a sharp sickle.
18.Then another angel, the one who has power over fire, came out from the altar ; and he called with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Put in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, because her grapes are ripe."
19.So the angel swung his sickle to the earth and gathered the clusters from the vine of the earth, and threw them into the great wine press of the wrath of God.
20.And the wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood came out from the wine press, up to the horses' bridles, for a distance of two hundred miles.
Revelation 16:14-21 NASB
14.for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.
15.("Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and men will not see his shame.")
16.And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon.

19.The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath.

21.And huge hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, came down from heaven upon men ; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague was extremely severe.

19.And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war against Him (Jesus Christ) who sat on the horse and against His army.
20.And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image ; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.
