Bible Questions Answered:
“Where
is the kingdom of God?...”
Billy/
Easley, South Carolina U.S.A.
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
I)
Within:
Luke
17:20,21 KJV
20
And when He was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God
should come, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not
with observation:
21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the
kingdom of God is within you.
The kingdom of God, comes to the Christian heart.
II) In The World:
Daniel
2:43,44 (Nebuchadnezzar's
dream, of a great statue))
43
This mixture of iron and clay also shows that these kingdoms will try
to strengthen themselves by forming alliances with each other through
intermarriage. But they will not hold together, just as iron and clay
do not mix.
44
“During the reigns of those kings, The God Of Heaven will set up a
kingdom that will never be destroyed or conquered. It will crush all
these kingdoms into nothingness, and it will stand forever.
II Timothy 4:1 NLT (Second Coming)
I
solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will
someday judge the living and the dead when He comes to set up His
Kingdom:
Revelation
17:14 KJV
Together
they will go to war against The Lamb, but The Lamb will defeat them
because He is Lord of all lords and King of all kings. And His called
and chosen and faithful ones will be with Him.”
At His second coming to earth, our Lord will set up His Millennial
Kingdom of peace on earth.
III)
The Kingdom of God, in heaven:
II
Thessalonians 1:5 NLT
And
God will use this persecution to show His justice and to make you
worthy of His Kingdom, for which you are suffering.
We enter The Kingdom Of God, through conversion (1&2), and The
Kingdom Of God (Heaven -3), through resurrection.
Friend, are you in the kingdom?
Jesus
I Come
Out of my bondage, sorrow and night,
Jesus, I come, Jesus, I come;
Into Thy freedom, gladness, and light,
Jesus, I come to Thee;
Out of my sickness, into Thy health,
Out of my want and into Thy wealth,
Out of my sin and into Thyself,
Jesus, I come to Thee.
Out of my shameful failure and loss,
Jesus, I come, Jesus, I come;
Into the glorious gain of Thy cross,
Jesus, I come to Thee;
Out of earth’s sorrows, into Thy balm,
Out of life’s storms and into Thy calm,
Out of distress to jubilant psalm,
Jesus, I come to Thee.
Out of unrest and arrogant pride,
Jesus, I come, Jesus, I come;
Into Thy blessed will to abide,
Jesus, I come to Thee;
Out of myself to dwell in Thy love,
Out of despair, into raptures above,
Upward for aye on wings like a dove,
Jesus, I come to Thee.
Out of the fear and dread of the tomb,
Jesus, I come, Jesus, I come;
Into the joy and light of Thy home,
Jesus, I come to Thee;
Out of the depths of ruin untold,
Into the peace of Thy sheltering fold,
Ever Thy glorious face to behold,
Jesus, I come to Thee.

Bible Lesson: Conversations With
Jesus: Stewardship And God's People.
Bible Text:
Luke 16:1-13 NLT (Parable of the Shrewd Manager)
1
Jesus told this story to His disciples: “There was a certain rich
man who had a manager handling his affairs. One day a report came
that the manager was wasting his employer’s money.
2 So
the employer called him in and said, ‘What’s this I hear about
you? Get your report in order, because you are going to be fired.’
3
“The manager thought to himself, ‘Now what? My boss has fired me.
I don’t have the strength to dig ditches, and I’m too proud to
beg.
4
Ah, I know how to ensure that I’ll have plenty of friends who will
give me a home when I am fired.’
5
“So he invited each person who owed money to his employer to come
and discuss the situation. He asked the first one, ‘How much do you
owe him?’
6
The man replied, ‘I owe him 800 gallons of olive oil.’ So the
manager told him, ‘Take the bill and quickly change it to 400
gallons.’
7
“‘And how much do you owe my employer?’ he asked the next man.
‘I owe him 1,000 bushels of wheat,’ was the reply. ‘Here,’
the manager said, ‘take the bill and change it to 800 bushels.’
8
“The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so
shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more
shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of
The Light.
9
Here’s the lesson: Use your worldly resources to benefit others and
make friends. Then, when your possessions are gone, they will welcome
you to an eternal home.
10
“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in
large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be
honest with greater responsibilities.
11
And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you
with the true riches of heaven?
12
And if you are not faithful with other people’s things, why should
you be trusted with things of your own?
13
“No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the
other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot
serve God and be enslaved to money.”
The
Baptist's have a saying, “When you baptize someone, be sure they
have their wallet/purse, with them.”
Being a Christian, does that concern our finances?

And He called unto Him His disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I
say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they
which have cast into the treasury:

For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did
cast in all that she had, even all her living.

Timothy 6:10,17-19 NLT
10
For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some
people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced
themselves with many sorrows.
17
Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to
trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be
in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment.
18
Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good
works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with
others.
19
By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good
foundation for the future so that they may experience true Life.
Hebrews
13:5 NLT
Don’t
love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I
will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”
I
Peter 4:10 KJV
As
every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to
another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
The Lord speaking to the prophet Malachi, asked an all important
question...
Malachi
3:8 KJV
Will
a man rob God?
Malachi
3:8-12 KJV
8
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed Me. But ye say, Wherein have
we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
9 Ye
are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed Me, even this whole
nation.
10
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat
in mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith The Lord Of Hosts, if
I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a
blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not
destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her
fruit before the time in the field, saith The Lord Of Hosts.
12
And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome
land, saith The Lord Of Hosts.
As a child of God, we must always remember...
Psalm
24:1 KJV
The
earth is The Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they
that dwell therein.
“Oh
Pastor, you don't realize, we are not under the law, so that doesn't
apply to us.”
Is that so, no one must have told Jesus...
Matthew
23:23 KJV
Woe
unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of
mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters
of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have
done, and not to leave the other undone.
Matthew
23:23 NLT
“What
sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees.
Hypocrites! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from
your herb gardens, but you ignore the more important aspects of the
law—justice, mercy, and faith. You should tithe, yes,
but do not neglect the more important things.
So the question dear Christian is, how faithful are we to our Lord's
command, to tithe?
Matthew
7:20,21 KJV
20
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21
Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is
in heaven.
Give
of Your Best to the Master
Give of your best to The Master;
Give of the strength of your youth;
Throw your soul’s fresh, glowing ardor
Into the battle for truth.
Jesus has set the example,
Dauntless was He, young and brave;
Give Him your loyal devotion;
Give Him the best that you have.
Refrain:
Give of your best to The Master;
Give of the strength of your youth;
Clad in salvation’s full armor,
Join in the battle for truth.
Give of your best to The Master;
Give Him first place in your heart;
Give Him first place in your service;
Consecrate every part.
Give, and to you will be given;
God His beloved Son gave;
Gratefully seeking to serve Him,
Give Him the best that you have.
Give of your best to The Master;
Naught else is worthy His love;
He gave Himself for your ransom,
Gave up His glory above.
Laid down His life without murmur,
You from sin’s ruin to save;
Give Him your heart’s adoration;
Give Him the best that you have.

Hebrews

Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is

Matthew
24:45-50 NLT
45
“A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give
the responsibility of managing his other household servants and
feeding them.
46
If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job,
there will be a reward.
47 I
tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of all
he owns.
48
But what if the servant is evil and thinks, ‘My master won’t be
back for a while,’
49
and he begins beating the other servants, partying, and getting
drunk?
50
The master will return unannounced and unexpected, 51 and he will cut
the servant to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites. In
that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Bible Questions Answered:
“I
read Acts 13:48, does God determine who will be saved or lost?...”
Vern/
Raleigh, North Carolina U.S.A.
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
Acts 13:44-49 NLT (Paul And Barnabas Turn to the Gentiles)
44
The following week almost the entire city turned out to hear them
preach The Word Of The Lord.
45
But when some of the Jews saw the crowds, they were jealous; so they
slandered Paul and argued against whatever he said.
46
Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and declared, “It was
necessary that we first preach The Word Of God to you Jews. But since
you have rejected it and judged yourselves unworthy of eternal Life,
we will offer it to the Gentiles.
47
For The Lord gave us this command when He said, ‘I have made you a
light to the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the farthest corners of
the earth.’”
48
When the Gentiles heard this, they were very glad and thanked The
Lord for His message; and all who were chosen for eternal Life
became believers.
49
So The Lord’s message spread throughout that region.

When a person just reads Acts 13:48, he could reason, God selects
people to be saved or lost, but oh how wrong that kind of thinking
would be!
The all important question arises, (why did God choose them?)
Albert Einstein once said, "God does not play dice with the
universe." And most certainly He does not play dice with the
lives of men and women!
The absolute answer to Acts 13:48 is something called “The
Foreknowledge Of God.”
Our Lord said through His foreknowledge...
John
6:64,70,71 NLT
64
But some of you do not believe Me.” (For Jesus knew from the
beginning which ones didn’t believe, and He knew who would
betray Him.)
70
Then Jesus said, “I chose the twelve of you, but one is a devil.”
71
He was speaking of Judas, son of Simon Iscariot, one of the Twelve,
who would later betray Him.
John
13:1,11 KJV
1
Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His
hour was come that He should depart out of this world unto The
Father, having loved His own which were in the world, He loved them
unto the end.
11
For He knew who should betray Him; therefore said He, Ye are not all
clean.
John
18:4 KJV
Jesus
therefore, knowing all things that should come upon Him, went
forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?
John
19:28 KJV
After
this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished,
that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
What Christian, would dare to say that our all powerful God, does not
have absolute and complete, foreknowledge?
Well, He does!
Romans
8:28-30 KJV
28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love
God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.
29
For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to
be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be The Firstborn
among many brethren.
30
Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He
called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also
glorified.
Romans
8:28-30 NLT
28
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good
of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for
them.
29
For God knew His people in advance, and He chose them
to become like His Son, so that His Son would be The Firstborn among
many brothers and sisters.
30
And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And having
called them, He gave them right standing with Himself. And having
given them right standing, He gave them His glory.
Ephesians
1:3-5 KJV
3
Blessed be The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath
blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in
Christ:
4
According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the
world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:
5
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ
to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
Ephesians
1:3-5 NLT
3
All praise to God, The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has
blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms
because we are united with Christ.
4
Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ
to be holy and without fault in His eyes.
5
God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us
to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do,
and it gave Him great pleasure.
In the eons of time past, Almighty God, saw and knew all of us, and
He knew what our choices would be in life. Nothing, but nothing,
takes our God by surprise! Our God's foreknowledge is perfect and
complete.
Seeing that there would be those who would love God, and turn to The
Savior, He chose to ordain their lives for blessings and life!

the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how
unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!

Ephesians 1:3-8 NLT (Spiritual Blessings)
This is what He wanted to do, and it
gave Him great pleasure.
6 So
we praise God for the glorious grace He has poured out on us who
belong to His dear Son.
7 He
is so rich in kindness and grace that He purchased our freedom with
The Blood of His Son and forgave our sins.
8 He
has showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and
understanding.

His
Eye Is On The Sparrow
Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heav’n and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant Friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
Refrain:
I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free,
For His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
“Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.

Bible Texts:
Acts 10:1-36 NLT (Cornelius Calls for Peter)
1 In
Caesarea there lived a Roman army officer named Cornelius, who was a
captain of the Italian Regiment.
2 He
was a devout, God-fearing man, as was everyone in his household. He
gave generously to the poor and prayed regularly to God.
3
One afternoon about three o’clock, he had a vision in which he saw
an angel of God coming toward him. “Cornelius!” the angel said.
4
Cornelius stared at him in terror. “What is it, sir?” he asked
the angel.
And
the angel replied, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have been
received by God as an offering!
5
Now send some men to Joppa, and summon a man named Simon Peter.
6 He
is staying with Simon, a tanner who lives near the seashore.”
7 As
soon as the angel was gone, Cornelius called two of his household
servants and a devout soldier, one of his personal attendants.
8 He
told them what had happened and sent them off to Joppa.
(Peter
Visits Cornelius)
9
The next day as Cornelius’s messengers were nearing the town, Peter
went up on the flat roof to pray. It was about noon,
10
and he was hungry. But while a meal was being prepared, he fell into
a trance.
11
He saw the sky open, and something like a large sheet was let down by
its four corners.
12
In the sheet were all sorts of animals, reptiles, and birds.
13
Then a voice said to him, “Get up, Peter; kill and eat them.”
14
“No, Lord,” Peter declared. “I have never eaten anything that
our Jewish laws have declared impure and unclean.”
15
But the voice spoke again: “Do not call something unclean if God
has made it clean.”
16
The same vision was repeated three times. Then the sheet was suddenly
pulled up to heaven.
17
Peter was very perplexed. What could the vision mean? Just then the
men sent by Cornelius found Simon’s house. Standing outside the
gate,
18
they asked if a man named Simon Peter was staying there.
19
Meanwhile, as Peter was puzzling over the vision, The Holy Spirit
said to him, “Three men have come looking for you.
20
Get up, go downstairs, and go with them without hesitation. Don’t
worry, for I have sent them.”
21
So Peter went down and said, “I’m the man you are looking for.
Why have you come?”
22
They said, “We were sent by Cornelius, a Roman officer. He is a
devout and God-fearing man, well respected by all the Jews. A holy
angel instructed him to summon you to his house so that he can hear
your message.”
23
So Peter invited the men to stay for the night. The next day he went
with them, accompanied by some of the brothers from Joppa.
24
They arrived in Caesarea the following day. Cornelius was waiting for
them and had called together his relatives and close friends.
25
As Peter entered his home, Cornelius fell at his feet and worshiped
him.
26
But Peter pulled him up and said, “Stand up! I’m a human being
just like you!”
27
So they talked together and went inside, where many others were
assembled.
28
Peter told them, “You know it is against our laws for a Jewish man
to enter a Gentile home like this or to associate with you. But God
has shown me that I should no longer think of anyone as impure or
unclean.
29
So I came without objection as soon as I was sent for. Now tell me
why you sent for me.”
30
Cornelius replied, “Four days ago I was praying in my house about
this same time, three o’clock in the afternoon. Suddenly, a man in
dazzling clothes was standing in front of me.
31
He told me, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your gifts
to the poor have been noticed by God!
32
Now send messengers to Joppa, and summon a man named Simon Peter. He
is staying in the home of Simon, a tanner who lives near the
seashore.’
33
So I sent for you at once, and it was good of you to come. Now we are
all here, waiting before God to hear the message the Lord has given
you.”

(NLT) Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no
favoritism.
34
(KJV) Then Peter opened his
mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of
persons:
35
In every nation He accepts those who fear Him and do what is right.
36
This is the message of Good News for the people of Israel (and
all the world) —that there is peace with God through
Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
34
(NLT) Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no
favoritism.

(Parable of the Pharisee
and Tax Collector)
9
Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their
own righteousness and scorned everyone else:
10
“Two men went to the Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the
other was a despised tax collector.
11
The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer: ‘I thank you,
God, that I am not like other people—cheaters, sinners, adulterers.
I’m certainly not like that tax collector!
12 I
fast twice a week, and I give you a tenth of my income.’
13
“But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift
his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in
sorrow, saying, ‘O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’
14 I
tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified
before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those
who humble themselves will be exalted.”
John

2:9-11 NLT
9
There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing
what is evil—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile.
10
But there will be glory and honor and peace from God for all who do
good—for the Jew first and also for the Gentile.
11
For God does not show favoritism.
James 2:1-13 NLT (A Warning against Prejudice)
1 My
dear brothers and sisters, how can you claim to have faith in our
glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others?
2
For example, suppose someone comes into your meeting dressed in fancy
clothes and expensive jewelry, and another comes in who is poor and
dressed in dirty clothes.
3 If
you give special attention and a good seat to the rich person, but
you say to the poor one, “You can stand over there, or else sit on
the floor”—well,
4
doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by
evil motives?
5
Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor
in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will
inherit the Kingdom He promised to those who love Him?
6
But you dishonor the poor! Isn’t it the rich who oppress you and
drag you into court?
7
Aren’t they the ones who slander Jesus Christ, whose noble name you
bear?
8
Yes indeed, it is good when you obey the royal law as found in The
Scriptures: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
9
But if you favor some people over others, you are committing a sin.
You are guilty of breaking the law.
10
For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a
person who has broken all of God’s laws.
11
For the same God who said, “You must not commit adultery,” also
said, “You must not murder.” So if you murder someone but do not
commit adultery, you have still broken the law.
12
So whatever you say or whatever you do, remember that you will be
judged by the law that sets you free.
13
There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others.
But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when He judges
you.
There's
A Wideness
There’s a wideness in God’s mercy,
Like the wideness of the sea;
There’s a kindness in His justice,
Which is more than liberty.
There is no place where earth’s sorrows
Are more felt than up in Heaven;
There is no place where earth’s failings
Have such kindly judgment given.
For the love of God is broader
Than the measure of our mind;
And the heart of The Eternal
Is most wonderfully kind.
But we make His love too narrow
By false limits of our own;
And we magnify His strictness
With a zeal He will not own.
There is plentiful redemption
In the blood that has been shed;
There is joy for all the members
In the sorrows of the Head.
There is grace enough for thousands
Of new worlds as great as this;
There is room for fresh creations
In that upper home of bliss.
If our love were but more simple,
We should take Him at His word;
And our lives would be all sunshine
In the sweetness of our Lord.
