Bible Questions Answered: Unanswered Prayer

Bible Question:
God doesn't answer everyones prayers, why not?
Lilly W. / Mt. Pleasant, Mich.

Bible Question Answered:
Well, God has three possible answers to our prayers.
I) Yes!
II) Wait!
III)No!

The first two answers are not too hard, but the last one, that one upsets many. Would God ever say no?
James 4:3 tells us there are “Unanswered Prayers.”
Ye ask, and receive not,...”

(Five reasons for unanswered prayer)

I) Sin: Isaiah 59:1,2 “[1] Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy, that it cannot hear: [2] But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear."

II) Selfishness: James 4:3 “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”

III) Stinginess: Proverbs 21:13 “Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.”

IV) Unforgiving: Mark 11:25,26 “25. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”

V) Unbelieving: James 1:6,7 “6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.”

Bible Lessons-Fire Escape

Know Your Fire Escape!

The Federal Emergency Management Agency, U.S. Fire Administration, relates the following facts concerning fire.

The highest rate of death do to fire in the industrialized world is in the U.S., with 14.9 deaths per million due to fire.

Some 25,100 individuals are injured annually while some 1100 deaths are reported. Each year 100 firefighters are killed do to fires.

Every year more Americans are killed by which of the following....
Accidents...
Natural Disasters.....or
Fires.

Answer: Fires

Over 2 million fires are reported each year, with an estimated property loss of some $8.6 billion.

The reason for fires:
Cooking, Careless Smoking, Heating, Arson.

Who are the most at risk?
Senior Citizens aged 70 or older.
Children under the age of 5 years.
Handicapped.

How lives can be saved:

Have several working smoke alarms, on each floor.
Have sprinklers installed if possible.
Have an annual fire inspection of your home.
Have an annual furnace inspection.
Do not over load electrical connections.
Put cigarettes out upon retiring.
In a high rise, airplane or train, know your fire escapes.

Countless lives could be saved every year if Fire Escapes were known and taken advantage of! Know your Fire Escape!

Now, just as real as this caution is in the Natural, it is also true in the realm of the Spiritual. Do you know where your Fire Escape is?

There is a fire burning, and the fire is the wrath of Almighty God!

Psalm 97:2,3 [2] Clouds and darkness are round about Him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of His throne.
[
3] A fire goeth before Him, and burneth up His enemies round about.”

Isaiah 9:18,19[18] For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.
[
19] Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.”

Malachi 3:2,3 “[2] But who may abide the day of His coming? and who shall stand when He appeareth? for He is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: [3] And He shall sit as a refiner and purifer of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.”

II Thessalonians 1:7-9 “[7] And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
[
8] In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
[
9] Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power; “

Hebrews 12:29For our God is a consuming fire.”

Well, why is God's fiery wrath kindled against mankind?

Habakkuk 1:13Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: ...”
Psalms 5:4For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.”

Psalms 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence His soul hateth.”

Simply put, God hates sin! And the scriptures tell us...

Ezekiel 18:4 “...the soul that sinneth, it shall die.”

God is holy, and He cannot look at sin, He hates it. And the reason why God hates sin is because of the destruction that He knows it causes.

Proverbs 8:36But he that sinneth against Me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate Me love death.”

Because of Adam's sin (The first man) all mankind is under the deadly spiritual virus of sin.

Romans 5:12 “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; “

As sinners we earn (deserve) the wrath of God.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

You and I were born under the curse of sin, and deserve judgment. But God in His mercy has not left us to judgment.

II Corinthians 5:21 “For He hath made Him (The Lord Jesus Christ-the Saviour) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”

I Peter 3:18 “For Christ also hath ONCE suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: “

Some one has taken our place in judgment, and that someone is the sinless Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. Our way of Escaping the Fiery Wrath of God, is acceptance of the sacrifice of His Son.

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”

I John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

John 1:12,13[12] But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:
[
13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

Friend, do you know your Fire Escape? Confess your sins and ask the Blessed Lord Jesus into your heart and life today.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him,...”

Bible Lessons-Great Men Not Afraid To Speak Out

Great Men Not Afraid To Speak Out

John Greenleaf Whittier:

We search the world for truth, we cull

The good, the pure, the beautiful,

From graven stone and written scroll,

From the old flower-fields of the soul,

And, weary seekers for the best,

We come back laden from our quest,

To find that all the sages said

Is in the Book our mothers read.

George Washington:

"Above all, the pure and benign light of Revelation (the Word of God)

has had a meliorating (improving) influence on mankind, and increased the blessings of society.

It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible."

Thomas Jefferson:

"The Bible is the cornerstone of liberty."

John Quincy Adams:

The first and almost the only book deserving of universal attention is the Bible. I speak as a man of the world..., and I say to you, “Search the Scriptures.”

Ulysses S. Grant:

Hold fast to the Bible as the sheet anchor of your liberties; write its precepts on your hearts and practice them in your lives. To the influence of this book we are indebted for the progress made, and to this we must look as our guide in the future.

Abraham Lincoln:

I am profitably engaged in reading the Bible. Take all of this book upon reason that you can and the balance by faith, and you will live and die a better man.

Daniel Webster:

"I am profitably engaged in reading the Bible. Take all of this Book on reason that you can and the rest on faith and you will live and die a better man."

Theodore Roosevelt:

Almost every man who has by his life-work added to the sum of human achievement of which the race is proud, of which our people are proud, almost every such man has based his life-work largely upon the teachings of the Bible.

Horace Greeley:

It is impossible to mentally or socially enslave a Bible-reading people.

Thomas Huxley:

The Bible has been the Magna Charta of the poor and oppressed.

Immanuel Kant:

The existence of the Bible as a book for the people is the greatest benefit which the human race has ever experienced. (German Philosopher)

Whether it be of the law, business, morals, or that vision which leads the imagination in the creation of constructive enterprises for the happiness of mankind, he who looks for guidance in any of these things may look inside its (the Bible) covers and find illumination.

George V (Emperor-British Empire):

It is my confident hope that my subjects may never cease to cherish their noble inheritance in the English Bible, which, in a secular aspect, is the first of national treasures and is, in its spiritual significance, the most valuable thing that this world affords.

Mahatma Gandhi:

The book that has influenced me the most, the Bible.

William E. Gladstone:

"God's best and richest gift to mankind." (The Bible.)

Samuel Taylor Coleridge: (English Poet & Critic.)

"To give a history of the Bible as a book would be little else than to relate the origin or first excitement of all of the literature we possess. From this storehouse of literary material our leading writers have most freely drawn."

C.H. Spurgeon:

"To us Holy Scriptures is as the tower of a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men."

"If we want weapons we must come here for them, and here only. Whether we seek the sword of offence or the shield of defence, we must find it within the volume of inspiration. If others have any other storehouse, I confess at once that I have none. I have nothing esle to preach when I have got through with this book, I can have no wish to preach at all if I may not continue to expound the subjects which I find in these pages."

Matthew 10:32,33

[32] Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven.
[33] But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in heaven.

Bible Questions Answered-Following God

Bible Question:
My neighbor says he follows God, according to his own heart. What would the Bible say?
Frank W. / Newberry, Fl.

Bible Answer:

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Following the Lord, means not walking in darkness.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Well then how should we follow?

Jesus said...Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Our God is Light

I John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

Well then how should we follow?

Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

God is Love...

I John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Well then how should we follow?

Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us...”

God is a Spirit..

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Well then how should we follow?

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

God is the truth..

I John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in

Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Well then how should we follow?

II John 4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

Bible Lessons- Christian Worship

Christian Worship

Psalms 29:2

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Duty of the Christian (Worship):

Psalms 96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before Him, all the earth.

Family Worship:

Deuteronomy 4:5-10 (Departing words of Moses)

[5] Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.
[
6] Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
[
7] For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon Him for?
[
8] And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?
[
9] Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;
[
10] Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

Deuteronomy 6:5-9

[5] And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
[
6] And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
[
7] And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
[
8] And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.
[
9] And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Heart to heart Worship:

Matthew 6: 7,8 [7] But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8] Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him.

Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father

[
2] My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.
[
3] Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
[
4] Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

Psalms 100: [1] Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
[
2] Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing.
[
3] Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
[
4] Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
[
5] For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.

Longing to Worship:

Psalms 84:2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the LORD: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

Where to Worship:

Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same My name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto My name, and a pure offering: for My name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

Jesus said......

Matthew 6:1-18

[1] Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
[2] Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
[3] But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
[4] That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret Himself shall reward thee openly.
[5] And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
[6] But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
[7] But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
[8] Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him.

[9] After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
[10] Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
[11] Give us this day our daily bread.
[12] And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
[13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

[14] For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
[15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
[16] Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
[17] But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;
[18] That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

Luke 18:9-14

[9] And he (Jesus) spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
[
10] Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
[
11] The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
[
12] I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
[
13] And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
[
14] I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Bible Lessons- Ballot Day

BALLOT DAY

Election time is here again. As Americans we have our Constitutional rights as citizens to freely vote for the candidates of our choice.

No one has the power or authority to force citizens to vote for one party or another. Voting is a privilege of Citizenship, not to vote is the self abrogation of such privileges.

If our leaders were to announce that this election would be governmentally decided, and that citizen voting was unnecessary, Americans would be up in arms and rightly so.

And yet, relinquishing our rights by indifference or lethargy, mean we do not hold high our Constitutional rights at all. Some mistakenly think that their vote, one among millions, simply does not count at all, but that is not true, and a mistake, because many elections in all branches of government have been often decided by merely one vote.

To illustrate the value of one vote, there are groups and causes that have and do try to buy the votes of individuals. To them every vote is very, very valuable.

When we vote we show others we're concerned with the welfare of our cities and government.

Life is full of decisions some are easy to make, some are hard. Not to make a decision, doesn't mean that a choice hasn't been made, and just as that is true in the political realm, so it is true in the spiritual realm.

Joshua the commander, leader of Israel, told his people ...

Joshua 24:15 “... choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

These are without doubt, Call To Decision Days.

The issues.....

Salvation: Is Christ alone Savior?

Abortion: Is it tissue or the taking of a life?

Homosexuality: New Life Style...or Old Sin?

Immorality: Excitement or Spiritual Suicide?

Last Day Messiahs: Truth or White Washed Lies?

The Church: God's Dwelling or Pious Prisons?

Cleric: Man of God or demon from hell?

Apocalyptic Signs: Evolution or Judgment?

Alien Life: Danger Foretold or New Find?

Corporate Affairs: Big Business or Grand Larceny?

Economic Collapse: Course Correction or Rampant Greed?

Darkening Clouds of War: Generals Occupation or World of Hate?

The tough decisions are out there and they're not going away. What is a person to do?

The choice of some is not to choose at all, thinking that no vote is no decision, but that is far from the truth.

Joshua knew full well in his day that many would not choose God, choosing rather the idols and false gods of surrounding nations.

But Decision Day had arrived, and so he boldly exclaimed..”...Choose you this day whom ye will serve...as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Can we know the answers to today's challenging issues by knowing the Lord?

The Bible tells us....

Psalm 111:10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: ...”

The Apostle Paul speaking to Timothy said..

II Timothy 3:15 “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”

Joshua and Israel decided for the Lord.

Jesus told us ....
John 14:6 “... I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”

Now Salvation is not by man's Roots or his Ingenuity (Secular or Religious works, or by his Giving).

Ephesians 2:8,9 “ [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
[9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.

John 1: 12,13 “[12] But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:
[13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

Friend this is your Decision Day, choose Christ and receive Eternal Life! To choose not to decide, is the same as to choose against Him.

Proverbs 14:12 “ There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

Proverbs 29:1 “He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.”

Genesis 6:3 “And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man...”

Hebrews 3:15While it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts...”

What is your Decision?

How will you cast your Ballot?

Will you cast it for the Savior or against Him?

Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: “

Revelation 3:20 NLT Jesus is saying to you today...”"Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in,...”

John 3:16,17 “[16] For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17] For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.”

Friend, someone loves you, He's your Creator!

Though He was sinless, He died for your sins and mine, taking our place in judgment.

Repent of your sins and claim Him as “your Savior.”

Today, your name will be written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Bible Lessons The Ideal Church

The Ideal Church

Matthew 16:18 “I will build My Church.”

The Idea Church is a Church of Prayer:

Matthew 21:13And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer;..”

Acts 4:24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

The Idea Church is filled with the Holy Spirit:

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

The Ideal Church is United:

John 13:34,35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Psalms 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

The Ideal Church Witnesses:

Acts 5:32, 42 And we are His witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey Him.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

Mark 16:15 And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

The Ideal Church is a Working Church:

Acts 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

John 9:3,4 Jesus answered, ...I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

(Not saved by works, and not saved from them either.)

The Ideal Church is Triumphant:

I John 5:4,5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Bible Questions Answered: Marking Humans

Bible Question:
Bro. I hear that people are being numbered, and some hospitals want to start numbering or marking babies at birth! Is this something we can hear more about?
Pat S. / Watford City, N.D.

Bible Answer:

To implant or not to implant: That is the question!

Micro (or Bio) Chip Implants are the buzz word today. They are 11-millimeter RFID Tags or “Chips” that are injected under the skin with a syringe. The chips are coated with some thing called Biobond, which causes them to adhere to the flesh.

A Radio Frequency Identification Scanner can read and record information on the tiny micro-chip. New chips work with G.P.S. Making it possible to track an injected person anywhere on earth.

The Micro Chips are manufactured by a Florida Co. Applied Digital Solutions, their micro chip is called the “Digital Angel.”

For some time the “Chip” has been used for animals, currently some 25-30 million animals have been implanted with micro chips, for recording of inoculations, owners and breeding purposes.

Pet owners for some years have had the opportunity to “Chip” their pets so that if they run away they can be recovered. Cattlemen worried over BSE out breaks “Chip” their herds to be very sure of inoculations and quality feed.

Implantation has taken over a whole new idea over the last five years because Veri-Chip of Florida has introduced “Chipping” of people.

In the state of Florida, May 7,02, a family became known as the “Chipsons.” A husband, his wife and their son, were among the first chipped, with the Digital Angel.

Since then in the United States, literally hundreds of individuals have been and are being ''Chipped.”

Digital Angel has the approval of the F.D.A.

What are the Pro's of Chip Implantation?

*Hospitals want to use RIFD tags to identify it's patients and to permit only relevant hospital staff to have access to it's records.

*Parents and Educators are encouraging the Chip Implantation of children, in case of kidnappings.

*Doctors are encouraging Bio Chips for those who have Alzheimer's disease, or other medical conditions.

*Micro Chip Implants could make car and home door keys a thing of the past.

*Authorities are in favor of implantation for foreigners entering through customs or immigration services for everyone's identification.

Already micro chip implantation is being used in “Passports.”

*Micro Chip Implantation for prisoners, and for those on parole and released felons.

*Micro Chip Implantation for all Armed Service Personnel.

*Chip Implantation would stop robberies, as a micro chip implant would act as a credit card.

*Micro Chip Implantation in goods will give retailers (already in use) a no hands on way of tracking shipments and inventory.

Wal-Mart has asked all of its suppliers to use RFIDs.

Airlines are now spending millions of dollars on RFID tags to keep track of luggage.

Is the Digital Angel really catching on?

The Attorney General of Mexico, Rafael Macedo de la Concha, has had a chip implanted into his own arm.

The Attorney General also has had 160 people in his office Implanted, for security reasons, giving only some of them access to certain areas.

Implantation in Mexico has become a requirement to enter new Federal centers. Over 1,000 Mexican people have been chipped for medical reasons.

Italy; the Italian Ministry of Health, has recently started 6 month trial of Micro Chipping in their hospitals.

Spain; the Spanish Baja Beach Club of Spain is using Micro Chips as electronic wallets used to buy drinks.

Other countries rushing to Micro Chips....Russia, Venezuela, Colombia, Switzerland.....etc....

What are the Con's of Chip Implantation?

*The end of Privacy, as individuals know it.

*Practically every aspect of a person's life will be under scrutiny.

*Micro Chip Implants may not, ever be physically removed!

*The Christian Church believes this could be, if not leading to0, “The Mark Of The Beast,” prophetically mentioned in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 13:16-18

[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
[17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
[18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The word “Mark” in the original Greek being the word “Charagm,” meaning, “To stick into, to impress a mark.”

Leviticus 19:28 L.B.

You shall not cut yourselves nor put...marks upon yourselves; I am the Lord.”

Revelation 14:9-11

[9] And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
[10] The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
[11] And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

It is easy to see that God has warned His people against anything like Micro-Chip Implants!

Human beings are not animals!

Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.”

Could a “Beast” like individual seeking total control over the sea of humanity, in what they do, where thy go, and all their commerce, ever arise? God says yes!

And God has warned that, there is no hope for those who become apart of such a godless system, in this world or in the next.

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

Friend we are living in the late hours just before our Lord secretly coming to catch away His believing blood washed bride-His true church.

Are you apart of that body? Jesus said that ...

John 3:3 ...Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

John 3:5 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:”

Today, ask the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and life, ask Him to be your Savior.

Revelation 3:20 NLT "Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in...”

Bible Lessons Hiding From God

Hiding From God

Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

Sinful men always try to hide from God:
By trying to put Him out of their minds.
By thinking that He is some where afar-off.
By professing agnosticism, infidelity, atheism, gnosticism, heathenism, etc..etc..

Hiding is in vain:
Psalms 139:1-12
[1] O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.
[2] Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
[3] Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
[4] For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
[5] Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
[6] Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
[7] Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
[8] If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
[9] If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
[10] Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
[11] If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
[12] Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

God finds men through:
Their Consciences....
The laws of nature...
The Church...
The Holy Spirit...
Final Judgment.

The Lesson:
Numbers 32:23 ”..be sure your sin will find you out. “
Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Bible Questions Answered-What About Drinking?

Bible Question:
My kids are 13, 15, and 17. Their friends are trying their best to influence them into drinking, what does the Good Book say?

Pam L. / Denver, Col.

Bible Answer:
Wine, beer, whiskey, alcohol, rum, schnapps, spirits, ale, tequila, moonshine, vodka, champagne, rum, gin, lager, brandy, etc..etc..etc....

Restaurants, Airlines, Hotels, Theaters, Super Clubs, Stadiums, Bars....etc.etc..etc.....

EVERYBODY'S DOING IT.....RIGHT?

Here are some interesting statistics from THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ALCOHOL ABUSE AND ALCOHOLISM:
* Economic costs of alcohol abuse in the U.S.A. in the year 1992 was some $148,021,000.00
* In the year 2000, 40% of all traffic accidents were alcohol related, leaving some 314,350 people dead.
* 2001 79.7% of graduating seniors said that they drank.
* 2001 51% of 8th graders said they've tried some form of alcohol, and been drunk at one time or another.
* 1999 of all deaths, death due to cirrhosis of the liver: Men 14%, Women 6.3%.

Many more statistics may be found at the following http://www.niaaa.hih.gov

Does everybody drink? (2001 statistics)
36.5% of all men ABSTAIN! ...why oh why don't we hear about them?
57.2% of all women ABSTAIN! ladies...let's speak up!

Government statistics do not lie, all men and women DO NOT drink, socially or otherwise!

Now, just what does God say about alcohol?
Here is what the Word of God says regarding drinking.

Proverbs 20:1 "Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise."
Same verse but from the Living Bible.

Proverbs 20:1 "Wine gives false courage; hard liquor leads to brawls; what fools men are to let it master them, making them reel drunkenly down the street!"

Proverbs 23:20 "Be not winebibers.."

Proverbs 23:29-33"Who hath woe:? Who hath sorrow? Who hath contentions? Who hath babling? Who hath wound s without cause? Who hath redness of eyes?
They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. Thine eyes shall behold strang women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things."

Hosea 4:11 "...wine and new wine take away the heart."

Habakkuk 2:15 "Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!"

Luke 21:34 "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares."

Ephesians 5:18 "And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit."

I Peter 4:3 Living Bible "You have had enough in the past of evil things, the godless enjoy-sex, lust, getting drunk, wild parties, drinking bouts, and the worship of idols, and other terrible sins."

The Word of God tells us what we do, may offend others, (or cause them to loose faith).

Romans 14:21 Living Bible "The right thing to do is to quit...drinking wine or doing anything else that offends your brother or makes him sin."

(Now if I might, just say a word about the wine of Bible days. It was a thick grape juice that had been diluted with water, 7 times.)

Can a person live without drinking anything alcoholic...of course.

Then for many Christian people, their decision in following their Lord...has and is abstinence.

II Corinthians 6:14-18 "14. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15. And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16. And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."

I Thessalonians 5:22 "Abstain from all appearance of evil."

Exodus 23:2 "Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil."

Psalm 1:1 "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful."

Those beautiful adds of young people, drinking at parties, never show the painful scenes of drunkienness, broken families, job loss, ruined health and painful addiction, one not easily broken. But there is hope for the one who turns to the Lord!

Isaiah 58:6 "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke."

Isaiah 42:7 "To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. 8. I am the Lord: that is my name..."

Matthew 28:18 "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All Power is given uto Me in heaven and in earth."

Acts 2:21 "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Friend, today, call on the name of the Lord, He alone has the Power to save you and to set you free, ask Him to be your Savior.
It is the Lord's will that your life be filled with true happiness!

John 10:10 "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
