Luke 18:29,30 KJV
29 And He said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,
30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

John 3:16,17 KJV

John 14:1-6,27 KJV
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

I Timothy 1:15,16 NLT (Apostle Paul)
15 This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all.
16 But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of His great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in Him and receive eternal life.

Joshua 24:15 KJV
And if it seem evil unto you to serve The Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve The Lord.

Luke 9:25 KJV
For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

Bible Lesson: Answered Prayer: King Jehoahaz Prays For Deliverance.

Bible Lesson: Answered Prayer: King Jehoahaz Prays For Deliverance.

Subject Of Prayer: Jehoahaz Prayed For Deliverance From The Syrians.

Bible Text: II Kings 13:1-5 NKJV

II Kings 13:1-5 NKJV
1 In the twenty-third year of Joash the son of Ahaziah, king of Judah, Jehoahaz the son of Jehu became king over Israel in Samaria, and reigned seventeen years.
2 And he did evil in the sight of The Lord, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin. He did not depart from them.
3 Then the anger of The Lord was aroused against Israel, and He delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Ben-Hadad the son of Hazael, all their days.
4 So Jehoahaz pleaded with The Lord, and The Lord listened to him; for He saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.
5 Then The Lord gave Israel a deliverer, so that they escaped from under the hand of the Syrians; and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents as before.

For Israel, there seemed to be an endless cycle of Blessing, forgefulness, apostasy, judgment and repentance, and restoration.

King Jehoahaz “did evil in the sight of The Lord, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin. He did not depart from them. (Verse 2)

And with what result?
II Kings 13:3 NKJV
Then the anger of The Lord was aroused against Israel, and He delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Ben-Hadad the son of Hazael, all their days.

II Kings 13:3 GNT
So The Lord was angry with Israel, and He allowed King Hazael of Syria and his son Benhadad to defeat Israel time after time.

QUESTION: May our country suffer and come under judgment of God, because of the sinful leadership, our countrys leader performs?

ANSWER: Yes! Such surely was the case with one King Jehoahaz, who “did evil in the sight of The Lord, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who had made Israel sin.” (Verse 2)

This is one reason why Christian people should pray much, over who they elect, to any and all public offices!

It wasn't just the King who was under God's judgment, but all the people as well.

And so what did King Jehoahaz do?
II Kings 13:4 NKJV
4 So Jehoahaz pleaded with The Lord, and The Lord listened to him; for He saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.

(Our Lord told Solomon of old...)
II Chronicles 7:14 KJV
If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Psalm 34:18 KJV
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Isaiah 66:2 KJV
"... to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My Word.

Joel 2:12,13 NLT
12 That is why The Lord says, “Turn to Me now, while there is time. Give Me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.
13 Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to The Lord your God, for He is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.

II Corinthians 7:10 NLT
For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.

The Lord heard and answered Jehoahaz prayer.
II Kings 13:5 NKJV (Joash/ Jeroboam II)
Then The Lord gave Israel a deliverer, so that they escaped from under the hand of the Syrians; and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents as before.

The end of Jehoahaz? An idolater till the end, and Israel a vassal entity of the Syrians.

"The only thing we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history."
Friedrich Hegel

Deuteronomy 4:27-30 KJV
27 And The Lord shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither The Lord shall lead you.
28 And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.
29 But if from thence thou shalt seek The Lord thy God, thou shalt find Him, if thou seek Him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to The Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto His voice;
31 (For The Lord thy God is a merciful God;) He will not forsake thee..."

II Chronicles 15:12,14,15 KJV
12 And they entered into a covenant to seek The Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;
14 And they sware unto The Lord with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets, and with cornets.
15 And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all their heart, and sought Him with their whole desire; and He was found of them: and The Lord gave them rest round about.

Psalm 34:10 KJV

Hosea 10:12 NLT
I said, ‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek The Lord, that He may come and shower righteousness upon you.’

Did The Lord hear and answer King Jehoahaz prayer? Yes, and He stands ready always to hear our prayer of repentance and plea for help.

Pearls Before Swine - II

Bible Questions Answered:
“How do we cast our peals before swine?
John/ Spokane, Washington U.S.A.

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:

Matthew 7:6 KJV
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Matthew 7:6 NLT
Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.

Pearls are priceless gems, which are the doctrines or the meat of the Word (I Corinthians 3:2/Hebrews 5:12,14), and are not something to be doled out to those who blaspheme The Living God.

Dogs and swine are considered unclean, such as evil men (Deuteronomy 23:17,18/ Philippians 3:2,3/ Matthew 7:21-23/ II Peter 2:22).

Proverbs 23:9 KJV
Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.

Proverbs 26:4 KJV
Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.

Proverbs 16:22 KJV
Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.

Pearls Before Swine:

Matthew 12:1-14 KJV
1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and His disciples were an hungered, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.
2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto Him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
3 But He said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungered, and they that were with him;
4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
8 For The Son Of Man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
9 And when He was departed thence, He went into their synagogue:
10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked Him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse Him.
11 And He said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
13 Then saith He to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against Him, how they might destroy Him.

Matthew 21:23-27 KJV
23 And when He was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto Him as He was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell Me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And He said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

What should a Christian do? A Christian must pray for discernment (I Corinthians 12:10)!

I Corinthians 2:15 KJV
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things..."

I Thessalonians 5:21 KJV
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Hebrews 5:14 KJV
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

James 1:5 KJV
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Mark 2:8 KJ21
And immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, He said unto them, “Why reason ye these things in your hearts:

Bible Lesson: Answered Prayer: Elisha Prays For Deliverance From The Syrians.

Bible Lesson: Answered Prayer: Elisha Prays For Deliverance From The Syrians.

Subject Of Prayer: Deliverance From A Enemy.

Bible Text:
II Kings 6:8-23 NLT (Elisha Sets A Trap For The Arameans
8 When the king of Aram was at war with Israel, he would confer with his officers and say, “We will mobilize our forces at such and such a place.”
9 But immediately Elisha, the man of God, would warn the king of Israel, “Do not go near that place, for the Arameans are planning to mobilize their troops there.”
10 So the king of Israel would send word to the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so that he would be on the alert there.
11 The king of Aram became very upset over this. He called his officers together and demanded, “Which of you is the traitor? Who has been informing the king of Israel of my plans?”
12 “It’s not us, my lord the king,” one of the officers replied. “Elisha, the prophet in Israel, tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in the privacy of your bedroom!”
13 “Go and find out where he is,” the king commanded, “so I can send troops to seize him.”
And the report came back: “Elisha is at Dothan.”
14 So one night the king of Aram sent a great army with many chariots and horses to surround the city.
15 When the servant of the man of God got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. “Oh, sir, what will we do now?” the young man cried to Elisha.
16 “Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!”
17 Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes and let him see!” The Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.
18 As the Aramean army advanced toward him, Elisha prayed, “O Lord, please make them blind.” So The Lord struck them with blindness as Elisha had asked.
19 Then Elisha went out and told them, “You have come the wrong way! This isn’t the right city! Follow me, and I will take you to the man you are looking for.” And he led them to the city of Samaria.
20 As soon as they had entered Samaria, Elisha prayed, “O Lord, now open their eyes and let them see.” So The Lord opened their eyes, and they discovered that they were in the middle of Samaria.
21 When the king of Israel saw them, he shouted to Elisha, “My father, should I kill them? Should I kill them?”
22 “Of course not!” Elisha replied. “Do we kill prisoners of war? Give them food and drink and send them home again to their master.”
23 So the king made a great feast for them and then sent them home to their master. After that, the Aramean raiders stayed away from the land of Israel.

Romans 8:38,39 KJV

II Corinthians 11:13-15 KJV

Faith Is The Victory:

Encamped along the hills of light,
Ye Christian soldiers, rise.
And press the battle ere the night
Shall veil the glowing skies.
Against the foe in vales below
Let all our strength be hurled.
Faith is the victory, we know,
That overcomes the world.

Refrain

Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!
O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.

His banner over us is love,
Our sword the Word of God.
We tread the road the saints above
With shouts of triumph trod.
By faith, they like a whirlwind’s breath,
Swept on o’er every field.
The faith by which they conquered death
Is still our shining shield.

Refrain

On every hand the foe we find
Drawn up in dread array.
Let tents of ease be left behind,
And onward to the fray.
Salvation’s helmet on each head,
With truth all girt about,
The earth shall tremble ’neath our tread,
And echo with our shout.

Refrain

To him that overcomes the foe,
White raiment shall be giv’n.
Before the angels he shall know
His name confessed in Heav’n.
Then onward from the hill of light,
Our hearts with love aflame,
We’ll vanquish all the hosts of night,
In Jesus’ conqu’ring Name.
