Pearls Before Swine - II

Bible Questions Answered:
“How do we cast our peals before swine?
John/ Spokane, Washington U.S.A.

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:

Matthew 7:6 KJV
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Matthew 7:6 NLT
Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.

Pearls are priceless gems, which are the doctrines or the meat of the Word (I Corinthians 3:2/Hebrews 5:12,14), and are not something to be doled out to those who blaspheme The Living God.

Dogs and swine are considered unclean, such as evil men (Deuteronomy 23:17,18/ Philippians 3:2,3/ Matthew 7:21-23/ II Peter 2:22).

Proverbs 23:9 KJV
Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.

Proverbs 26:4 KJV
Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.

Proverbs 16:22 KJV
Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly.

Pearls Before Swine:

Matthew 12:1-14 KJV
1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and His disciples were an hungered, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.
2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto Him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
3 But He said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungered, and they that were with him;
4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?
5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
8 For The Son Of Man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
9 And when He was departed thence, He went into their synagogue:
10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked Him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse Him.
11 And He said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
13 Then saith He to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against Him, how they might destroy Him.

Matthew 21:23-27 KJV
23 And when He was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto Him as He was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell Me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And He said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

What should a Christian do? A Christian must pray for discernment (I Corinthians 12:10)!

I Corinthians 2:15 KJV
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things..."

I Thessalonians 5:21 KJV
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Hebrews 5:14 KJV
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

James 1:5 KJV
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Mark 2:8 KJ21
And immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, He said unto them, “Why reason ye these things in your hearts:
