Bible Lessons: Altars

Altars:

Altars were built by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and Joshua.
Altars were built for the purpose of (Animal) sacrifice. A bloody sacrifice, pointing to the cross.

Moses was also commanded to build an altar of Incense, where incense was burnt upon it twice daily.
This altar symbolized the offering up of believers prayers.

Exodus 30:7,8 KJV
[7] And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresseth the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.
[8] And when Aaron lighteth the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.

The construction of the Old Testament Tabernacle with its altars was a type of the heavenly.

Revelation 8:3 KJV And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.”

Once a fire had been started at an altar, it was never to go out.

Leviticus 6:13 KJV “The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.”

I Thessalonians 5:7 KJV " Pray without ceasing."

Every church should have its altar.
The Altar is the very symbol of the Presence of God, and Sacrifice.

At the Church Altar, it is the place where we may come and meet with the Lord to receive Him into our heart and life.
At the Church Altar, it is the place where we may pledge our lives in service to the Lord.
At the Church Altar, it is the place where we in the presence of the Lord, may repent of sin and ask for His forgiveness.
At the Church Altar, it is the place where we may take the hand of our neighbor who we have offended and before the Lord ask forgiveness.
At the Church Altar, we may be baptized in the power of the Holy Spirit.
At the Church Altar, we may pour our heart out for the salvation of our loved ones.
At the Church Altar, we may pray for our Pastor, Missionaries, and our Countries Leaders.
Etc...etc...etc...

May our churches once again, emphasize the importance of “The Altar.”

Our homes should have its family Altar.

At our home altar, we may come and meet with the Lord, and tell Him of all our concerns.
(I Peter 5:7 KJV Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.”)
At our home Altar, we may pray with and read God's word and, instruct our children.
At our home Altar, we may pray for our loved ones.
At our home Altar, we may pray for our Church and its outreach.
At our home Altar, we may pray with our neighbors.
At our home Altar, we may pray for God's help to be a witness.
Etc. ..etc...etc...

With our world full of hate and fear, is it any wonder why the enemy of our souls has tried his best to diminish any reference to Altars.
Pray that our Lord will help and guide you to renew the Altar at your church, and your own home.

Exodus 20:24 NLT “(The Lord told Moses)...Build my altar wherever I cause my name to be remembered, and I will come to you and bless you.

Bible Questions Answered: Mother Love

Bible Questions Answered:
I have heard of “Mother Love,” where does that come in?
Tom S./ Louise, Alberta/ Canada

Bible Answers:
“Mother Love,” transcends that of mortal, mother's love, however tender and embracing that may be. True “Mother's Love,” is Immortal and comes from God.

Isaiah 66:13 KJV “As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I (The Lord's love towards His people.) comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”

The Lord, compares His love for His People to that of the care and love of an Eagle to her eaglets.

Exodus 19:4 KJV Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.”

The mother Eagle watches over her “eaglets.” If when in the wind, their new untried wings should fail them, she swoops down to retrieve them on “her-wings,” and so to take them to a place of safety.

Deuteron0my 32:11 KJV
[11] As an eagle stirreth up her nest (to get the eaglets out of the nest and into the air.), fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

Psalms 57:1 KJVBe merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.”

Psalms 63:7 KJVBecause thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.”

Luke 19:41-44 (Jesus Wept over Jerusalem, He compared Himself to a Mother Hen, who care for her little chicks.)
And when He was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,

Matthew 23:37 KJV “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! “

Luke 13:34 KJV “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!”

Jeremiah 31:3 KJV “The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”

Bible Questions Answered: Faith-Perfect

Bible Questions Answered:
If we have enough faith, can we live without troubles?
Ernie W./ Liverpool, UK

Bible Answers:
No.

Matthew 10:24,25 KJV
[24] The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
[25] It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master,...”

The plain truth is that Jesus suffered, while in the flesh, and if He did, we shall also.

Isaiah 53:3,4 KJV
[3] He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed him not.
[4] Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Matthew 5:45 KJV
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”

Even though we may indeed go through trials, yet the Christian is promised that he does not go through them alone.

Psalm 34:19 KJV
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”

Isaiah 43:1,2,5 KJV

[1] But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and He that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
[2] When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
[5] Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

Isaiah 26:3 KJV Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

I Peter 4:12 KJV
(12] Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
[13] But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are
partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Hebrews 13:5 KJV “...He (The Lord Jesus) hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Bible Questions Answered: Hell-Is It A Real Place?

Bible Questions Answered:
Is hell a real place?
Debby L. / Smithfield, Utah

Bible Answer:
The Lord Jesus taught that hell, was a real place, with real people, in it's eternal agony, e.g. ...

Luke 16:19-31 NIV
19"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.
20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores
21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

22"The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side (Paradise). The rich man also died and was buried.
23 In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.
24 So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'
25"But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.
26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'

27"He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house,
28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'
29"Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'
30" 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'
31"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' "

Abraham was a real person, (Patriarchal leader of Israel), Lazarus is a proper name of the beggar, the rich man's name is not given.

Jesus stated that in the next life, their roles were reversed.

Lazarus was in plenty (Paradise), and the selfish rich man in agony in hell.

He was in torment, “I am in agony in this fire,” physical pain.
He thirsted, but had no water (water cannot exist in a roaring furnace.)
He longed to be waited upon as he had been in his life of luxury, but Abraham told him that could not be.
And he was in mental agony over his five brothers.

If you thought this man got “Religion,” in hell,.....please dear friend, think again!
There is no “Regeneration,” in hell!!
There is no “Second-Chance,” in hell!!

Hebrews 9:27 KJV
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

But wasn't this lost man, showing real remorse over his brothers coming to hell?
NEVER!

He knew that one by one his brothers would come and make his misery in hell even worse, if that could be, by their coming and joining him in eternal torment, and all because they had followed their older brothers example!

Hell is a real place of unimaginal pain (physical, spiritual, mental).

Our Saviour warned:

Matthew 3:12 KJV “Whose fan is in His hand, and He will throughly purge His floor, and gather His wheat into the garner; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Matthew 8:11,12 KJV
[11] And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
[12] But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 10:28 KJV And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matthew 13:41,42 KJV
[41] The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
[42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 18:8,9 KJV
[8] Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
[9] And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

Matthew 25:41,46 KJV
(41) Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
[46] And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Mark 9:44 (46,48) KJV “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.”

Daniel 12:2 KJV "And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."

II Thessalonians 1:7-9 KJV “
[
7] ...the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
[8] In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
[9]
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His power;

II Peter 2:14-17 KJV
[14] Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
[15] Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
[17] These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.

Jude 6 NLB " ...the angels who did not stay within the limits of authority God gave them but left the place where they belonged. God has kept them securely chained in prisons of darkness, waiting for the great day of judgment."

Jude 13 KJVRaging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

Revelation 9:2,11 KJV
[2] And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
[11] And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Revelation 14:10,11 KJV
(10)“
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

(11) And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Revelation 20:14,15 KJV
[14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
[15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:8 KJV But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Psalms 92:7 KJVWhen the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:”

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ezekiel 18:23 NLT "Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign LORD. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live.”

Acts 2:21 KJV “ And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

[
59] And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

Bible Lessons: Easter In Prophecy

Easter in Prophecy:

Palm Sunday:
Zechariah foretold of Christ's riding into Jerusalem on a donkey

Zechariah 9:9 KJV (520 B.C)
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: He is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Betrayal of one of the twelve – Judas Iscariot

Zechariah 11:12-13 KJV
[12] And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
[13] And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.

Prophecy of the Cross

Zechariah 12:10-11 KJV
[10] And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me (Jesus Christ) whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for Him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
[11] In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

Easter Celebrated

Acts 12:1-3 KJV
1 About that time King Herod Agrippa began to persecute some believers in the church.
2 He had the apostle James (John's brother) killed with a sword.
3 When Herod saw how much this pleased the Jewish people, he also arrested Peter. (This took place during the Passover celebration.)

Easter in the heart

Ephesians 1:15- 23 KJV
[15] Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
[16] Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
[17] That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him:
[18] The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
[19] And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to usward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power,
[20] Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places,
[
21] Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
[
22] And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church,
[
23] Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.

Bible Questions Answered: Judgments

Bible Questions Answered:
When is the judgment?
Lenny K./ Brisbane, Australia

Bible Answer:
There are three (main) future Judgments.

THE BEMA SEAT: (At the Rapture two things take place in heaven 1) Marriage Supper of the Lamb. 2) The Bema Seat

After the Rapture of the Church, saints in heaven, will have their works judged for rewards.

(note this is not a judgment concerning salvation). .

John 5:24 KJV
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

I Corinthians 3:11-15 KJV (Believers)
[
11] For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
[12] Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
[13] Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
[14] If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
[15] If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

II Corinthians 5:9,10 KJV (Believers)
[9] Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of Him.
[10] For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

II Timoth 4:7,8 KJV (Apostle Paul)
[7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
[8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.

JUDGMENT AT CHRIST'S SECOND ADVENT:

Matthew 25:31-46 KJV (Judgment of the nations upon Christ's Second Advent, at the end of Armageddon.)
[31] When the Son of man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory:
[32] And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
[33] And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
[34] Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
[35] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
[36] Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
[37] Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
[38] When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
[39] Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
[40] And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
[41] Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
[42] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
[43] I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
[44] Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
[45] Then shall He answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
[46] And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT-

Revelation 20:11-15 KJV The lost dead (At the end of the Millennium)
[11] And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
[12] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
[13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
[14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
[15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Bible Lessons: Divine Saviour-Jesus

"Jesus The Divine Saviour"

All Powerful over Disease: (Omnipotent)

Matthew 8:1-3 KJV
[1] When He was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him.
[2] And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped Him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
[3] And Jesus put forth His hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Luke 4:37-39 KJV
[37] And the fame of Him went out into every place of the country round about.
[38] And He arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's (Simon Peter's) house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought Him for her.
[39] And He stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

All Powerful over Demons:

Matthew 8:16,17 KJV
[16] When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick:
[
17] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Matthew 8:l28-32 KJV
[28] And when He was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
[
29] And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
[
30] And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.
[
31] So the devils besought Him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
[
32] And He said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

Luke 4:33-36 KJV
[33] And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
[34] Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
[35] And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.
[36] And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power He commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

All Powerful over death:

Luke 17:11-15 KJV
[11] And it came to pass, as He went to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
[
12] And as He entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
[
13] And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
[
14] And when He saw them, He said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
[
15] And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

Luke 8:49-56 KJV
[49] While He yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
[50] But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
[51] And when He came into the house, He suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
[52] And all wept, and bewailed her: but He said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
[53] And they laughed Him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
[54] And He put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.
[55] And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and He commanded to give her meat.
[56] And her parents were astonished: but He charged them that they should tell no man what was done.

John 11:1-4, 32-35 KJV
[1] Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
[
2] (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
[
3] Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
[
4] When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
[
32] Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying unto Him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
[
33] When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, He groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,
[
34] And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
[
35] Jesus wept.
[
36] Then said the Jews, Behold how He loved him!
[
37] And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
[
38] Jesus therefore again groaning in Himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
[
39] Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
[
40] Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
[
41] Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
[
42] And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
[
43] And when He thus had spoken, He cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
[
44] And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
[
45] Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

All Powerful over men:

Matthew 9:9 KJV
And as Jesus passed forth from thence, He saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and He saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

John 17:1-3 KJV
[1] These words spake Jesus, and lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
[
2] As thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given Him.
[
3] And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

All Powerful over nature:

Matthew 8:23-27 KJV
[23] And when He was entered into a ship, His disciples followed Him.
[24] And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but He was asleep.
[25] And His disciples came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
[26] And He saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then He arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
[27] But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him!

All Powerful over sin:

Matthew 9:1-8 KJV
[1] And He entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into His own city.
[2] And, behold, they brought to Him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.
[3] And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
[4] And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?
[5] For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk?
[6] But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith He to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
[7] And he arose, and departed to his house.
[8] But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

All Powerful over traditions of men:

Matthew 9:10-17 KJV
[10] And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.
[11] And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto His disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
[12] But when Jesus heard that, He said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
[13] But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
[14] Then came to Him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
[15] And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the Bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the Bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.
[16] No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.
[17] Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Everywhere Present: (Omnipresent)

Matthew 18:20 KJV
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Matthew 28:18-20 KJV
[18] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
[
19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
[
20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

[25] And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

Luke 5:21-26 KJV
[21] And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
[
22] But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?
[
23] Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?
[
24] But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (He said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.
[
25] And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
[
26] And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

Luke 6:1-10 KJV
(1] And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that He went through the corn fields; and His disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.
[2] And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?
[3] And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;
[4] How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
[5] And He said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
[6] And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that He entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
[7] And the scribes and Pharisees watched Him, whether He would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against Him.
[8] But He knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
[9] Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
[10] And looking round about upon them all, He said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

Luke 7:37-50 KJV
[
37] And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,
[
38] And stood at His feet behind Him weeping, and began to wash His feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed His feet, and anointed them with the ointment.
[
39] Now when the Pharisee which had bidden Him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth Him: for she is a sinner.
[
40] And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
[
41] There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.
[
42] And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?
[
43] Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And He said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.
[
44] And He turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
[
45] Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
[
46] My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.
[
47] Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.
[
48] And He said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.
[
49] And they that sat at meat with Him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
[
50] And He said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Matthew 9:2-8 KJV (the mind of the Scribes)

Mark 12:28-34 KJV
[28] And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that He had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
[
29] And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
[
30] And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
[
31] And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
[
32] And the scribe said unto Him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but He:
[
33] And to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
[
34] And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, He said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.

John 4:24 KJV (Samaritan woman at Jacob's well.)
God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Luke 9:46,48 (knew the minds of His Disciples)
[46] Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.
[47] And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by Him,
[48] And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth Him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

The Son of God-who forgives sins:

Mark 2:3-5 KJV
[3] And they come unto Him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
[
