Many people talk
about God, many people are called holy, many people talk about
heaven, etc. etc.
THE WORD OF GOD:
FOR ALL HAVE SINNED

Kings 8:46 KJV
If
they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,)..."
II
Chronicles 6:36 KJV
If
they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,)..."
Job

How can a mortal be innocent before God? Can anyone born of a woman
be pure?
Job
35:2 NLT
“Do
you think it is right for you to claim,‘I am righteous before God’?
Psalm
14:3 KJV (Psalm 53:3)
They
are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is
none that doeth good, no, not one.
Psalm
51:5 KJV
Behold,
I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?
Ecclesiastes
7:20 KJV
For
there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
Isaiah
64:6 KJV
But
we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as
filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like
the wind, have taken us away.
Jeremiah
2:35 NLT
35
And yet you say, I have done nothing wrong. Surely God isn’t angry
with me! But now I will punish you severely because you claim you
have not sinned.
Mica
7:2 KJV
The
good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright
among men..."
Romans
3:10,23 KJV
10
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans
5:12 KJV
Wherefore,
as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so
death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Galatians
3:22 KJV
But
the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith
of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
I
John 1:8-10 KJV
8
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and The Truth is
not in us.
9
If we confess our sins, He is Faithful and Just to forgive us our
sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word
is not in us.
Parishioner
or prelate, all of sinned and come short of the glory of God!
What
did Jesus say?
John
3:3,36 KJV (This is what Jesus
told Nicodemus who was a Jewish ruler of the Jews, a
Pharisee.)
3
Jesus answered and said unto him (Nicodemus), Verily, verily, I say
unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom
of God.
36
He that believeth on The Son hath everlasting Life: and he that
believeth not The Son shall not see Life; but the wrath of God
abideth on him.
John
3:16-21 KJV
16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
Life.
17
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but
that the world through Him might be saved.
18
He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not
is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of The
Only Begotten Son Of God.
19
And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and
men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil.
20
For every one that doeth evil hateth The Light, neither cometh to The
Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21
But he that doeth Truth cometh to The Light, that his deeds may be
made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Prayer:
Isaiah 45:22 KJV
Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all
the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
John 8:24 KJV
I said
therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe
not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins.
John 3:36 KJV
He that
believeth on The Son hath everlasting Life: and he that believeth not
The Son shall not see Life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Bible Lesson: Prophecies And Their
Fulfillment:
Bible Prophecy: Messiah, Given
Gall And Vinegar.
Bible Text:
Psalm 69:21 KJV
They gave Me also gall for My meat;
and in My thirst they gave Me vinegar to drink.
Prophecy Fulfillment:
Matthew 27:34
They gave Him
vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when He had tasted thereof,
He would not drink.
Our Lord, was given sour wine (or vinegar), mixed with gall (a bitter
ingredient-myrrh).
Mark 15:23
And they gave
Him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but He received it not.
Vinegar (some called it sour wine), was thought to prolong the life of the one suffering, myrrh,
to stupefy the senses, as to reduce the pain, but our Lord, desiring
to be in His right mind, refused the mixture.
Proverbs 31:6

Give strong
drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be
of heavy hearts.
Our Lord, came to do The Father's will.
Luke 22:42 KJV
Saying, Father,
if thou be willing, remove this cup from Me: nevertheless not My
will, but thine, be done.
II Corinthians
5:21 KJV
For He (God The
Father) hath made Him (Christ Jesus, His Son) to be sin for us, who
knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

Memories
Bible Questions Answered:
“...so I told him, you can't take
anything with you when you die...”
Hank/ Tucson, Arizona U.S.A.
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
This hackneyed
phrase has been around for some years, and of course it is true,
“you'll never see a uhaul behind a hearse.” In other words, you
can't take it with you, money, friends, etc. etc. When you leave this
world, you take nothing with you.
As great as this
idea is, this is not completely true. The fact is you do take
“things,” with you when you leave this life.
What we take with
us:
* Memories.
* A record
of our works we have done, and their reward, good or
evil (Not that good works will save us, they can not!)
Memories Of Regret, And
Pain:
Psalm 109:14,15 KJV
14
Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered
with The Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15 Let them be before The Lord continually, that he
may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
Deuteronomy 9:7 KJV
Remember,
and forget not, how thou provokedst The Lord thy God to wrath in the
wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of
Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against
The Lord.
Mark 14:72 KJV
And the second
time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that
Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny Me
thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.
I Corinthians 15:9 KJV
For I am the
least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle,
because I persecuted the church of God.
Genesis 41:8,9 NLT
8 The next
morning Pharaoh was very disturbed by the dreams. So he called for
all the magicians and wise men of Egypt. When Pharaoh told them his
dreams, not one of them could tell him what they meant.
9 Finally, the
king’s chief cup-bearer spoke up. “Today I have been reminded
of my failure,” he told Pharaoh.
Psalm 137:1 KJV
By the rivers
of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered
Zion.
Luke 16:25 KJV
But Abraham
said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy
good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is
comforted, and thou art tormented.
Dear friend, most assuredly you breezed right on through the
most horrific command of God and did not even notice it,
so it is repeated here.
Deuteronomy 9:7 KJV
Remember, and forget not,
how thou
provokedst The Lord thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day
that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto
this place, ye have been rebellious against The Lord.
Psalm 109:14,15 KJV
14
Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered
with The Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
15
Let them be before The Lord continually, that he may cut off
the memory of them from the earth.
Our God, has commanded that “the lost,” will “forget
not,” the evil that they have done!
Oh, how the seas of damned souls in hell, if they would have but one
request, it would be......
TO FORGET, but that will never be possible!
Memories
Of God's People:
Proverbs 10:7
KJV
The memory
of the just is blessed..."
Psalm 77:11 KJV
I will remember
the works of The Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders
of old.
II Peter 3:2 NLT
I want you to
remember what the holy prophets said long ago and what our
Lord and Savior commanded through your apostles.
Deuteronomy 32:7
NLT
Remember
the days of long ago; think about the generations past. Ask your
father, and he will inform you. Inquire of your elders, and they will
tell you.
Jonah 2:7 KJV
When my soul
fainted within me I remembered The Lord: and my prayer came in
unto thee, into thine holy temple.
John 14:26 KJV
But The
Comforter, which is The Holy Ghost, whom The Father will send in My
name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Psalm 63:5,6 KJV
5 My soul shall
be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise
thee with joyful lips:
6 When I
remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night
watches.
After the rapture of the church, Christian's works will be tried, as
to what they were, and with what motives they did them.
I Corinthians
3:13-15 KJV
13 Every man's
work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it
shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of
what sort it is.
14 If any man's
work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's
work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be
saved; yet so as by fire.
Revelation 14:13
KJV
And I heard a
voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which
die in The Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith The Spirit, that they may
rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.
After the Millennial reign of Christ on earth, there will be The
Great White Throne Judgment (for the lost).
Revelation
20:10-15 KJV
10 And the
devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and
brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be
tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a
Great White Throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth
and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw
the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were
opened: and another book was opened, which is The Book Of Life: and
the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the
books, according to their works.
13 And the sea
gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up
the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according
to their works.
14 And death
and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And
whosoever was not found written in The Book Of Life was cast into the
lake of fire.
No one is “saved,” by works, works of any kind!
Ephesians 2:8,9
KJV
8 For by grace
are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is
The Gift Of
God:
9 Not of works,
lest any man should boast.
Titus 3:5,6 KJV
5 Not by works
of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He
saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of The Holy
Ghost;
6 Which He shed
on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior;
THE WAY OF
SALVATION
Mark 1:14,15
KJV
14
"...Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom
of God,
15
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand:
repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Acts 2:21
KJV
“And
it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of
The Lord shall be saved.”
Romans
10:8-11 KJV
8
But what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in
thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth The Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the
dead, thou shalt be saved.
10
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be
ashamed.
II
Corinthians 5:15 KJV
And
that He died for all, that they which live should not
henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for
them, and rose again.
I Peter 2:24 KJV
Who His own self bare our sins
in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins,
should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were
healed.

Brazen Serpent
Bible Questions Answered:
“You wrote concerning serpents of the
pole, and Jesus but we are not with understanding, how they are
same...”
Rendi/ Roodepoort, Gauteng South
Africa
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
Numbers 21:4-9 KJV
4 And they journeyed from mount Hor
by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul
of the people was much discouraged because of the way.
5 And the people spake against God,
and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to
die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any
water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
6 And The Lord sent fiery serpents
among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel
died.
7 Therefore the people came to
Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against The Lord,
and against thee; pray unto The Lord, that He take away the serpents
from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
8 And The Lord said unto Moses, Make
thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to
pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall
live.
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass,
and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had
bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
Hardships of the
way, caused the people of God, to murmur and complain, against Moses
and God.
Psalm 55:19 KJV
God shall hear, and afflict them,
even He that abideth of old. Selah..."
Jeremiah 8:17
KJV
For, behold, I will send serpents,
cockatrices, among you, which will not be charmed, and they shall
bite you, saith The Lord.
Numbers 21:6 KJV
And The Lord sent fiery serpents
among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel
died.
Psalm 119:67,68
KJV
67 Before I was afflicted I went
astray: but now have I kept thy word.
68 Thou art good, and doest good;
teach me thy statutes.
Psalm 145:17 KJV
(Write this verse on the
flyleaf of your Bible.)
The Lord is righteous in all His
ways, and holy in all His works.
The judgment of
fiery serpents, brought death, and repentance to the people.
Numbers 21:7 KJV
Therefore the people came to Moses,
and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against The Lord, and
against thee; pray unto The Lord, that He take away the serpents from
us. And Moses prayed for the people.
God's answer to
their repentance:
Numbers 21:8,9
KJV
8 And The Lord said unto Moses, Make
thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to
pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it,
shall live.
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass,
and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had
bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
What did looking
upon the brazen serpent accomplish?
1) It reminded
them, it was because of “their sin,”
that death and judgment came.
2) It reminded
them, through repentance, and faith in God's
promise, they would be saved.
John 3:14-18 KJV
14 And as Moses lifted up the
serpent in the wilderness, even so must The Son Of Man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in
Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that
He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should
not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the
world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be
saved.
18 He that believeth on Him is not
condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he
hath not believed in the name of The Only Begotten Son Of God.
When our Lord was
on the cross, He was not there for His sins, but for our sins.
We deserved
judgment and death, but as we look to Him, in repentance for our own
sins and have faith in Him, we are saved, delivered from death and
judgment, for He took our death and judgment upon Himself.
I Peter 2:22 NLT
He never sinned, nor ever deceived
anyone.
II Corinthians
5:21 NLT
For God made Christ, who never
sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made
right with God through Christ.
I Corinthians
10:9-13 NLT
9 Nor should we put Christ to the
test, as some of them did and then died from snakebites.
10 And don’t grumble as some of
them did, and then were destroyed by the angel of death.
11 These things happened to them as
examples for us. They were written down to warn us who live at the
end of the age.
12 If you think you are standing
strong, be careful not to fall.
13 The temptations in your life are
no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He
will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you
are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.
Hebrews 10:38,39
KJV
38 Now the just shall live by faith:
but if any man draw back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him.
39 But we are not of them who draw
back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the
soul.
Isaiah 45:22 KJV
Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all
the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
Numbers 21: 4-9 KJV AGAIN:
Saved
or Lost:
God's people, were
in sin.
Numbers 21:5 KJV
And the people
spake against God..."
Judgment and death, were the result.
Numbers 21:6 KJV
And The Lord sent fiery serpents
among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel
died.
But there was
hope...
Numbers 21:8 KJV
And The Lord said unto Moses, Make
thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to
pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall
live.
Through
repentance..."when he looketh upon it" One look at the bronze snake, reminded them, it was because of their sin, that they faced judgment and death. And so they cried...
Numbers 21:7 KJV
"...We have sinned, for we have
spoken against The Lord..."
In repentance, they cried unto The Lord, and in obedience, they held to
the promise of The Lord...
"...every one
that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live."
The people because
of sin, were facing judgment and death, but through repentance and
obedience, gained Life, through faith in the promise of The
Lord.
Saved if they did,
lost if they refused, and did not.
Saved
or Lost:
Today mankind is
guilty of sin, faced with judgment and death.
Romans 3:23 KJV
For all have sinned, and come short
of the glory of God;
Romans 5:12 KJV
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered
into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men,
for that all have sinned:
Ezekiel 18:4 KJV
"...the soul
that sinneth, it shall die.
But there is
hope.
II Corinthians
7:10 NLT
For the kind of sorrow God wants us
to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation.
There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow,
which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.
Romans 2:4 KJV
"...the goodness of God leadeth
thee to repentance"
II Peter 3:9 KJV
The Lord is not slack concerning his
promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to
us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come
to repentance.
Revelation 3:19
KJV
As many as I love, I rebuke and
chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Repentance
yes, and belief also.
John 3:14-16 KJV
14 And as Moses lifted up the
serpent in the wilderness, even so must The Son Of Man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in
Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that
He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Mark 16:16 KJV
He that believeth and is
baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Saved or Lost,
Israel had the choice of repenting and forsaking sin and
believing The Lord, and the challenge is the same today!
Repenting and
forsaking of sin, and belief in the promise of The Lord,
determines if we are Saved or Lost.
Prayer:
Isaiah 45:22 KJV
Look unto Me,
and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there
is none else.
John 8:24 KJV
I said therefore
unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that
I am He, ye shall die in your sins.
Acts 4:12 KJV
“Neither is there
salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven
given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
John 6:37,47 KJV
37 “...him that
cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out.”
47 Verily, verily,
I say unto you, He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life.
Jude 1:21 KJV
Keep yourselves in
the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto
eternal life.

Bible Prophecy: Messiah, Mocked And
Insulted
Bible Text:
Psalm 22:6-8 KJV
6 But I am a
worm, and no Man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
7 All they that
see Me laugh Me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the
head, saying,
8 He trusted on
The Lord that He would deliver Him: let Him deliver Him, seeing He
delighted in Him.
Psalm 109:25 NLT
I am a joke to
people everywhere; when they see Me, they shake their heads in scorn.
Isaiah 37:22 KJV
This is the
word which The Lord hath spoken concerning Him; The virgin, the
daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the
daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.
Prophecy
Fulfillment:
Matthew 27:27-31,39-44 KJV
27 Then the
soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and
gathered unto Him the whole band of soldiers.
28 And they
stripped Him, and put on Him a scarlet robe.
29 And when
they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon His head, and a
reed in His right hand: and they bowed the knee before Him, and
mocked Him, saying, Hail,
King Of The
Jews!
30 And they
spit upon Him, and took the reed, and smote Him on the head.
31 And after
that they had mocked Him, they took the robe off from Him, and put
His own raiment on Him, and led Him away to crucify Him.
39 And they
that passed by reviled (shouted abuse NLT) Him, wagging their heads,
40 And saying,
Thou that destroyest the temple, and build it in three days, save
thyself. If thou be The Son Of God, come down from the cross.
41 Likewise
also the chief priests mocking Him, with the scribes and elders,
said,
42 He saved
others; Himself He cannot save. If He be The King Of Israel, let Him
now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him.
43 He trusted
in God; let Him deliver Him now, if He will have Him: for He said,
I am The Son Of
God.
44 The thieves
also, which were crucified with Him, cast the same in His teeth.
Mark 15:29-32
KJV
29 And they
that passed by railed on Him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah,
thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,
30 Save
thyself, and come down from the cross.
31 Likewise
also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the
scribes, He saved others; Himself He cannot save.
32 Let Christ
The King Of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and
believe. And they that were crucified with Him reviled Him.
Luke 22:63-65
KJV
63 And the men
that held Jesus mocked Him, and smote Him.
64 And when
they had blindfolded Him, they struck Him on the face, and asked Him,
saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?
65 And many
other things blasphemously spake they against Him.
Luke 23:10, 11,
35-39 KJV
10 And the
chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused Him.
11 And Herod
with his men of war set Him at nought, and mocked Him, and arrayed
Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent Him again to Pilate.
35 And the
people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided Him,
saying, He saved others; let Him save Himself, if He be Christ, The
Chosen Of God.
36 And the
soldiers also mocked Him, coming to Him, and offering Him vinegar,
37 And saying,
If thou be The King Of The Jews, save thyself.
38 And a
superscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, and
Latin, and Hebrew, This Is The King Of The Jews.
39 And one of
the malefactors which were hanged railed on Him, saying, If thou be
Christ, save thyself and us.
Jesus predicted
that He would be mocked.
Matthew 20:18,19 KJV
18 Behold, we
go up to Jerusalem; and The Son Of Man shall be betrayed unto the
chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn Him to
death,
19 And shall
deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify
Him: and the third day He shall rise again.
Mark 10:33,34 KJV
33 Saying,
Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son Of Man shall be delivered
unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn
Him to death, and shall deliver Him to the Gentiles:
34 And they
shall mock Him, and shall scourge Him, and shall spit upon Him, and
shall kill Him: and the third day He shall rise again.
Luke 18:31-33 KJV
31 Then He took
unto Him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to
Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning
The Son Of Man shall be accomplished.
32 For He shall
be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully
entreated, and spitted on:
33 And they
shall scourge Him, and put Him to death: and the third day He shall
rise again.
Since the very
beginning, a lamb's blood, has been offered up in sacrifice, to cover
the sins of the people.
Then God sent His
Only Begotten Son into the world to become The Savior, God's Spotless
Lamb, to be offered up for the sins of all the world.
John 1:29 KJV
(John The Baptist)
The next day
John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold The Lamb Of God,
which taketh away the sin of the world.
I Corinthians 5:7 KJV
"...Christ,
our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us.
II Corinthians 5:21 KJV
For He (The
Father) hath made Him (Jesus
Christ) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be
made the righteousness of God in Him.
I Peter 1:18-20
NLT
18 For you know
that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you
inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or
silver, which lose their value.
19 It was The
Precious Blood Of Christ, The Sinless, Spotless Lamb Of God.
20 God chose
Him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last
days He has been revealed for your sake.
Isaiah 53:1-12 NLT
1 Who has
believed our message? To whom has The Lord revealed His powerful arm?
2 My Servant
grew up in The Lord’s presence like A Tender Green Shoot, like A
Root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about His
appearance, nothing to attract us to Him.
3 He was
despised and rejected— A Man Of Sorrows, acquainted with deepest
grief. We turned our backs on Him and looked the other way. He was
despised, and we did not care.
4 Yet it was
our weaknesses He carried; it was our sorrows that weighed Him down.
And we thought His troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment
for His own sins!
5 But He was
pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we
could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
6 All of us,
like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow
our own.
Yet The Lord
laid on Him the sins of us all.
7 He was
oppressed and treated harshly, yet He never said a word. He was led
like A Lamb to the slaughter. And as A Sheep is silent before the
shearers, He did not open His mouth.
8 Unjustly
condemned, He was led away. No one cared that He died without
descendants, that His life was cut short in midstream. But He was
struck down for the rebellion of my people.
9 He had done
no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But He was buried like a
criminal He was put in a rich man’s grave.
10 But it was
The Lord’s good plan to crush Him and cause Him grief. Yet when His
life is made an offering for sin, He will have many descendants. He
will enjoy a long life, and The Lord’s good plan will prosper in
His hands.
11 When He sees
all that is accomplished by His anguish, He will be satisfied. And
because of His experience, My Righteous Servant will make it possible
for many to be counted righteous, for He will bear all their sins.
12 I will give
Him the honors of A Victorious Soldier, because He exposed Himself to
death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and
interceded for rebels.
Prayer:
Jesus, be merciful to me a sinner. I
confess and forsake my sins, and ask you to forgive me, and make me a
child of God, for you have said, “...whosoever shall call on the
name of The Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:21 KJV
Thank you for dying for me, taking my
place in judgment, that I might be pardoned. I take you as the
Savior, and Lord (Master) of my life. Help me to read your word,
confess you, and live for you.
Amen

Saturday Versus Sunday Worship
Bible Questions Answered:
“...I got into it with a guy that
said Saturday is the Sabbath, and that I was not worshiping correctly
by worshiping on Sunday. I found out later this man, is Seventh Day
Adventist. What do we tell someone like this...”

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
Some have a real
problem with this, but it comes down to, are we under the laws of the
Old Testament, or not, as as Christian believers, we are not!
Galatians 3:24-26 KJV
24 Wherefore
the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might
be justified by faith.
25 But after
that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye are
all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
The Apostle Paul
was at the church of Galatia. At the church, a group of Jews, so
called Judaizers, who taught that Christ was not in Himself enough
for eternal salvation, one also had to keep Moses' law.
Their equation for
salvation then was:
(The
Law-circumcision) + (Christ) = Salvation.
There were those
in the church that realized if this was true, then Paul was terribly
wrong.
The Apostle became
furious, he defended the integrity of the gospel, and so the book of
Galatians was written.
The Apostle Paul
stated, as was the message of The Gospel.
(Christ) =
Salvation (alone).
Galatians 5:2,11,12 NLT
2 Listen! I,
Paul, tell you this: If you are counting on circumcision to make you
right with God, then Christ will be of no benefit to you.
11 Dear
brothers and sisters, if I were still preaching that you must be
circumcised—as some say I do—why am I still being persecuted?
If I were no
longer preaching salvation through the cross of Christ, no one would
be offended.
12 I just wish
that those troublemakers who want to mutilate you by circumcision
would mutilate themselves.
Galatians 6:12-16 NLT
12 Those who
are trying to force you to be circumcised want to look good to
others. They don’t want to be persecuted for teaching that the
cross of Christ alone can save.
13 And even
those who advocate circumcision don’t keep the whole law
themselves. They only want you to be circumcised so they can boast
about it and claim you as their disciples.
14 As for me,
may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus
Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has
been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died.
15 It doesn’t
matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is
whether we have been transformed into a new creation.
16 May God’s
peace and mercy be upon all who live by this principle; they are the
new people of God.
Ephesians 2:8,9 KJV
8 For by grace
are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is
The Gift Of
God:
9 Not of works,
lest any man should boast.
Titus 3:5-7 KJV
5 Not by works
of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He
saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of The Holy
Ghost;
6 Which He shed
on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior;
7 That being
justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope
of eternal life.
Christians are not
under the law, but the grace of God.
Romans 6:14 KJV
For sin shall
not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under
grace.
Romans 6:14,15
NLT
14 Sin is no
longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of
the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
15 Well then,
since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we
can go on sinning? Of course not!
The Early Church
Worshiped On Sunday (The First Day Of The Week):
The Resurrection Was On Sunday.
Matthew 28:1-7 NLT
1 Early on
Sunday morning, as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and
the other Mary went out to visit the tomb.
2 Suddenly
there was a great earthquake! For an angel of The Lord came down from
heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it.
3 His face
shone like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow.
4 The guards
shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint.
5 Then the
angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know
you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
6 He isn’t
here! He is risen from the dead, just as He said would happen. Come,
see where His body was lying.
7 And now, go
quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead, and
He is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see Him there. Remember
what I have told you.”
Jesus Appeared
On The First Day Of The Week.
John 20:19,26
NLT
19 That Sunday
evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they
were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there
among them! “Peace be with you,” He said.
26 Eight days
later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was
with them. The doors were locked; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was
standing among them. “Peace be with you,” He said.
Pentecost Was On
Sunday (49 days after Easter):
Acts 2:1 KJV
And when the
day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one
place.
The Early
Church, Worshiped On Sunday:
Acts 20:7 KJV
And upon the
first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break
bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and
continued his speech until midnight.
Acts 20:7 MSG
We met on
Sunday to worship and celebrate the Master’s Supper. Paul addressed
the congregation. Our plan was to leave first thing in the morning,
but Paul talked on, way past midnight.
I Corinthians
16:1,2 KJV
1 Now
concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to
the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
2 Upon the
first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as
God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
I Corinthians
16:1,2 MSG
Regarding the
relief offering for poor Christians that is being collected, you get
the same instructions I gave the churches in Galatia. Every Sunday
each of you make an offering and put it in safekeeping. Be as
generous as you can. When I get there you’ll have it ready, and I
won’t have to make a special appeal.
The Resurrected
Lord, Appeared To John On The Island Of Patmos, On Sunday:
Revelation 1:10
KJV
10 I was in The
Spirit on The Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a
trumpet,
11 Saying, I am
Alpha and Omega, The first and The Last: and, What thou seest, write
in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia;
unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira,
and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Revelation
1:10,11 MSG
It was Sunday
and I was in The Spirit, praying. I heard a loud voice behind me,
trumpet-clear and piercing:
“Write what
you see into a book. Send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus,
Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea.”
Why not worship
on the Sabbath? Only 9 Old Testament commandments were reissued in
the New Testament, but not the Sabbath.
Matthew 12:8 KJV
For The Son Of
Man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
We now have and
Eternal High Priest, at The Right Hand Of God, Jesus Christ, The
Righteous.
Hebrews 7:12 KJV
For the
priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of
the law.
Mark 2:27,28 KJV
27 And He said
unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
28 Therefore
The Son Of Man is Lord also of the sabbath.
Colossians
2:16,17 NLT
16 So don’t
let anyone condemn you for what you eat or drink, or for not
celebrating certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or Sabbaths.
17 For these
rules are only shadows of the reality yet to come. And Christ Himself
is that reality
So dear friends, what is the end of the matter? The Early Church,
worshiped on Sunday, but the Apostle Paul leaves these final words
with us...
Romans 14:1-13 NLT (The Danger of Criticism)
1 Accept other
believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about
what they think is right or wrong.
2 For instance,
one person believes it’s all right to eat anything. But another
believer with a sensitive conscience will eat only vegetables.
3 Those who
feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who don’t.
And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who
do, for God has accepted them.
4 Who are you
to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge
whether they stand or fall. And with The Lord’s help, they will
stand and receive His approval.
5 In the same
way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others
think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that
whichever day you choose is acceptable.
6 Those who
worship The Lord on a special day do it to honor Him. Those who eat
any kind of food do so to honor The Lord, since they give thanks to
God before eating. And those who refuse to eat certain foods also
want to please The Lord and give thanks to God.
7 For we don’t
live for ourselves or die for ourselves.
8 If we live,
it’s to honor The Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor The Lord. So
whether we live or die, we belong to The Lord.
9 Christ died
and rose again for this very purpose—to be Lord both of the living
and of the dead.
10 So why do
you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another
believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of
God.
11 For the
Scriptures say,
“‘As surely
as I live,’ says The Lord, ‘every knee will bend to Me, and every
tongue will declare allegiance to God.’”
12 Yes, each of
us will give a personal account to God.
13 So let’s
stop condemning each other. Decide instead to live in such a way that
you will not cause another believer to stumble and fall.
Prayer:
John 6:37,47 KJV
37 “...him that cometh to Me I
will in no wise cast out.”
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life.
Acts 10:34,35
NLT
34 Then Peter
replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.
35 In every
nation He accepts those who fear Him and do what is right.
Ephesians 1:6
KJV
To the praise
of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the
beloved.

Angels - We Are Not To Pray To -
Bible Questions Answered:
“...so I prayed to my guardian
angel...”
Theresa/ Santa Ana, California U.S.A.
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
Nowhere, nowhere, are we ever taught in
The Word Of God, to pray to angels!
Jesus our example:
John 13:15 KJV
For I have given you an example,
that ye should do as I have done to you.
Jesus prayed, and told Christians to
pray, to The Father in heaven.
Matthew 6:9 KJV
After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Luke 11:2 KJV
And He said unto them, When ye pray,
say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy
kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
John 14:12-15
KJV
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and
greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in My
name, that will I do, that The Father may be glorified in The Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in My
name, I will do it.
15 If ye love Me, keep My
commandments.
We should live as
the “noble-Bereans.
Acts 17:10,11 KJV
10 And the brethren immediately sent
away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into
the synagogue of the Jews.
11 These were more noble
than those in Thessalonica, in that they received The Word with
all readiness of mind, and searched The Scriptures daily, whether
those things were so.
Noble:
An exalted moral or mental character or
excellence.
Dictionary.Com
It is God The Holy Spirit, and our
Savior, Jesus Christ, who intercede for the people of God.
Romans 8:26,27 NLT
26 And The Holy
Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what
God wants us to pray for. But The Holy Spirit prays for us with
groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
27 And The Father who knows all
hearts knows what The Spirit is saying, for The Spirit pleads for us
believers in harmony with God’s own will.
Hebrews 4:14-16 NLT
14 So then,
since we have A Great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus The
Son Of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.
15 This High
Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the
same testings we do, yet he did not sin.
16 So let us
come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive
His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
Angels are a part of Gods
great creation, not eternal, created.
Colossians 1:15-17 NLT
15 Christ is the visible
image of The Invisible God. He existed before anything was created
and is supreme over all creation,
16 for through Him God
created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made
the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as
thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities
in the unseen world. Everything was created through Him and for Him.
17 He existed before
anything else, and He holds all creation together.
And although it is true,
angels have more power than mere mortal man...
Hebrews 2:7 KJV (The
Apostle speaking of man stated...)
"Thou madest him a
little lower than the angels..."
Yet, they are not God, and
“not,” to be prayed to or to be worshiped. Who said so, why the
very angels of heaven have said so!
Revelation 19:9,10 NLT
9 And the angel
said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the
wedding feast of the Lamb.” And he added, “These are true words
that come from God.”
10 Then I fell down at
his feet to worship him, but he said, “No, don’t worship me.
I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers and sisters
who testify about their faith in Jesus. Worship only God. For
the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.
Revelation 22:8,9 NLT
8 I, John, am the one who
heard and saw all these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell
down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me.
9 But he said, “No,
don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your
brothers the prophets, as well as all who obey what is written in
this book. Worship only God!”
Our God told Israel...
Exodus 20:3-5 KJV
3 Thou shalt have no
other gods before Me.
4 Thou shalt not make
unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that
is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in
the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow
down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I The LORD thy God am a
jealous God..."
Exodus 34:14 KJV
For thou shalt worship no
other god: for The LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:
Deuteronomy 4:24 KJV
For The LORD thy God is a
Consuming Fire, even a jealous God.
Isaiah 48:11 KJV
"...I will not
give My glory unto another."
No one, be he angel or
saint, is to usurp the position of Almighty God!
As the angels of heaven told
the beloved John...
Revelation
19:10/ 22:9 KJV
“...“No, don’t
worship me (Angels of heaven...Worship only God!”
Revelation 22:8,9 KJV
8 And I John
saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I
fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me
these things.
9 Then saith
he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy
fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which
keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

unto the land of thy kindred.

blessed Joseph and said, “May the God before whom my
grandfather Abraham and my father, Isaac, walked—the God who
has been my Shepherd all my life, to this very day,
16 The Angel who
has redeemed me from all harm— may He bless these boys. May they
preserve my name and the names of Abraham and Isaac. And may their
descendants multiply greatly throughout the earth.”

1 Now Moses kept the
flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led
the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of
God, even to Horeb.
2 And The Angel Of The
Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a
bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the
bush was not consumed.
3 And Moses said, I will
now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
4 And when The Lord
saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the
midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am
I.
5 And He said, Draw not
nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place
whereon thou standest is holy ground.
6 Moreover He said,
I am The God of thy father, The God Of
Abraham, The God Of Isaac, and
The God Of
Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon
God.

21 Pay close attention to

22 But if you are careful

17 Gideon replied, “If
you are truly going to help me, show me a sign to prove that it is
really the Lord speaking to me.
18 Don’t go away until
I come back and bring my offering to you.” He answered, “I will
stay here until you return.”
19 Gideon hurried home.
He cooked a young goat, and with a basket of flour he baked some
bread without yeast. Then, carrying the meat in a basket and the
broth in a pot, he brought them out and presented them to The Angel,
who was under the great tree.
20 The Angel Of God
said to him, “Place the meat and the unleavened bread on this rock,
and pour the broth over it.” And Gideon did as he was told.
21 Then The Angel Of
The Lord touched the meat and bread with the tip of the staff in
His hand, and fire flamed up from the rock and consumed all he had
brought. And The Angel Of The Lord disappeared.
22 When Gideon realized
that it was The Angel Of The Lord, he cried out, “Oh,
Sovereign Lord, I’m doomed! I have seen The Angel Of The
Lord face to face!”
The Angel Of The Lord, was
the preincarnate Lord Jesus. Don't let anyone tell you its OK to
worship angels, or to pray to them, because angels of God, were
worshiped in the Old Testament!
