Bible Questions Answered:
“Do the lost have resurrection?...”
Wally/ Ludington, Michigan U.S.A.
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
Yes! This is not the resurrection to
Life, but to damnation.
John 5:28,29 KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour
is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear His
voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that
have done good, unto the resurrection of Life; and they that have
done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
The first
resurrection is that to Life, for God's people (I Corinthians
15:51-58/ I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
All
will some day, hear the call of Jesus Christ, to resurrection.
After the millennium (1,000 years of
peace through, Christ rule on earth), will be The Great White Throne
Judgment, and all the lost (living and dead) from Cain to the most
present Christ rejector, will rise up from their graves to appear
before The Judge Of All The Earth.
All will have bodies, bodies that could
have experienced the joys of heaven forever, now to be sentenced to,
experience the eternal sufferings of hell.
The books will be opened and they will
be judged.
Revelation 20:12 KJV
And I saw the dead, small and great,
stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was
opened, which is The Book Of Life: and the dead were judged out of
those things which were written in the books, according to their
works.
All will be found
guilty of rejecting The Savior, their names will “not” appear in
The Book Of Life. Their works will determine the depth of their
punishment.
From The Great
White Throne, the lost are then cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation
20:10-15 KJV
10 And the devil that deceived
them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the
beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and
night for ever and ever.
(Special Note:
The beast (Anti-Christ) and the false prophet, had been cast into the
lake of fire, 1,000 years before the arrival of the devil, and notice
they are still there and suffering!)
11 And I saw a Great White Throne,
and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled
away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and
great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book
was opened, which is The Book Of Life: and the dead were judged out
of those things which were written in the books, according to their
works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead
which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were
in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into
the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found
written in the Book Of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
Prayer:
John 3:16,17,36 KJV
16 For
God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
Life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the
world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
36 He that believeth
on The Son hath everlasting Life: and he that believeth not The Son
shall not see Life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Hebrews 10:31
KJV
It is a fearful thing to fall into
the hands of The Living God.
