Evangelism-In Mercy And Love

Bible Questions Answered:
“Jesus never condemned anybody neither should you ..read Matthew 8!”
Bryan/ Portland, Oregon U.S.A.

Bible Answer:
Bible Text:

John 8:1-11 KJV
1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
2 And early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came unto Him; and He sat down, and taught them.
3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto Him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
4 They say unto Him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
6 This they said, tempting Him, that they might have to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down, and with His finger wrote on the ground, as though He heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking Him, He lifted up Himself, and said unto them, he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again He stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 When Jesus had lifted up Himself, and saw none but the woman, He said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Leviticus 20:10 KJV (Leviticus 21:9/ Deuteronomy 22:22,23/ Ezekiel 16:38,40)
And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

Jesus never said that adultery was not sin, what He did do, was to write upon the ground, and say,
he that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

What did Jesus write on the ground....many think He wrote things like...

Isaiah 53:6 KJV
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and The Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 55:7 KJV
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto
The Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

Matthew 4:7 KJV
Jesus said unto him (The Devil), It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Matthew 5:28 KJV
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

The Scribes and Pharisees knew that they themselves were not without sin. From the oldest to the youngest, they all left Jesus alone with the woman.

In her shame and sorrow, Jesus seeing her heart “said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go,
and sin no more.”

Jesus condemned her sin, but loved her as an individual.

See also the story of Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:3-42).

Did this encounter mean that Jesus never condemned individuals, hardly!

In Matthew 23rd chapter Jesus condemned the Scribes and Pharisees, calling them.....
Hypocrites
Blind Fools
Children Of Hell
Serpents and
Vipers.

Jesus was always loving and kind, and because He was, it was His duty to warn the wicked!

Ezekiel 3:17-21 KJV
17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman...therefore hear the word at My mouth, and give them warning from Me.
18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Dear Christian watchman, be very sure your evangelism is tempered with mercy and divine love!

Romans 13:12 KJV
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of Light.

II Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath Light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of The Living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith The Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith The Lord Almighty.

Armor-End Time

Bible Questions Answered:
“If these are end times, what must we do?”
Charlene/ Makati City, Philippines

Bible Answer:
Bible Text:
Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in The Lord, and in the power of His might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

The Apostle Paul, tells us that we as Christian people, must be strong in The Lord!
We must be strong, because we knowingly or not, are involved in spiritual warfare.
Our adversary, the devil is our wiley foe.

In this spiritual engagement, there are no, draft dodgers, no noncombatants, everyone fights or surrenders to the enemy.

I Peter 5:8,9 KJV
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith..."

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in The Lord, and in the power of His might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles* of the devil.

*Wiles-Greek: Methodeia (Meth-od-i-ah): Method, traveling over, i.e. travesty (trickery): wile, lie in wait.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities*, against powers*, against the rulers* of the darkness* of this world, against spiritual wickedness* in high places.

*Principalities-Greek: Arche (Ar-khay): Magistrate, power, principality, principle, rule.

*Powers-Greek: Exousia (Ex-oo-see-ah): Ability; privilege, i.e. force, capacity, mastery, magistrate, potentate, token of control, delegated influence; authority, jurisdiction, liberty, power, right, strength.

*Rulers-Greek: Kosmokrator (Kos-mok-rat-ore): A World-ruler, an epithet of Satan;-ruler.

*Darkness-Greek: Skotos (Skot-os): Shadiness, i.e. obscurity, darkness.

*Wickedness-Greek: Poneria (Pon-ay-ree-ah): Depravity, i.e. malice; sins:-iniquity, wickedness.

We face every day warfare with the devil, principalities, powers, the rulers of darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

A soldier in warfare, by necessity needs armor! A Christian's armor is spiritual armor.
The Apostle, goes on to mention 7 articles of that armor.

Vs. 14 Truth,
In the end time, many will not know The Truth from a lie, and that is because they do not know The One who is The Truth.
Truth, will protect us from a world filled with lies of all kind! Worldly lies, and spiritual lies.
Spiritual liars, may appear as angels of light, yet they are the very emissaries of Satan.

John 8:44 KJV (Unredeemed)
...He (Lucifer, the Devil, Satan.) was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in The Truth, because there is no Truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

II Corinthians 11:13-15 KJV
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Psalm 119:11 KJV
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

John 14:6 KJV
Jesus saith unto him, I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

II Timothy 3:15 KJV
And that from a child thou hast known The Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Vs. 14 the breastplate of righteousness;
In the end time, one word will describe the times, “evil,”as it was in Noah's day.

Genesis 6:5 KJV
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Psalm 1:6 KJV
For The Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalm 4:3 KJV
But know that The Lord hath set apart him that is godly for Himself: The Lord will hear when I call unto Him.

I Corinthians 1:30 NLT
God has united you with Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Him to be wisdom itself. Christ made us right with God; He made us pure and holy, and He freed us from sin.

Vs. 15 feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
In the end time, there shall be restlessness and insecurity, and a genuine hatred for “the gospel.” It is the gospel, The Word Of God that points out men's sins.

Isaiah 48:22 KJV
There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.

II Corinthians 4:3,4 KJV
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the Light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is The Image Of God, should shine unto them.

Ephesians 2:14 KJV
For Christ Himself has brought peace to us..."

Hebrews 4:12 KJV
For The Word Of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

John 14:27 KJV
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Vs. 16 the shield of faith
In the end time, the world will be filled with fear and dread. Only the man or woman of God, may hold their head up in belief of the promises of God!

Luke 21:25,26 KJV
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Mark 11:22 KJV
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Hebrews 10:23-25 NLT
23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise.
24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.
25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.

Vs. 17 the helmet of salvation
In the end time, men will say there is no God, and that the way of spiritual enlightenment is through works.

Psalm 14:1 KJV
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
21 Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

Ephesians 2:8,9 KJV
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is The Gift Of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

I Peter 1:7-9 KJV
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

I John 5:19 KJV
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

Vs. 17 the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

In the end time, men will despise The Word Of God. Seeking to disown it at every turn. In the end days, the enemy will present his “false gospel,” a Babylonian Creed, whose tenants are formed by lifeless churches, which will in the end times, comprise a majority. Their dogma will be enforced by a godless world system, already taking place.

Galatians 1:8 KJV
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Revelation 22:18,19 KJV
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Psalm 19:7-11 KJV
7 The law of The Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of The Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of The Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of The Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of The Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Vs 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit
In the end time, men will not pray to a God, they don't believe in. Christian prayer, may well become a unlawful act.

Isaiah 31:1 KJV
Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto The Holy One Of Israel, neither seek The Lord!

I Chronicles 16:11 KJV
Seek The Lord and His strength, seek His face continually.

Luke 18:1 NLT
"...Jesus told His disciples...that they should always pray and never give up.

I Thessalonians 5:17 KJV
Pray without ceasing.

Christian soldiers, march on in the name and power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 13:12 KJV
The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

II Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

I Timothy 6:12 KJV
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where unto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

II Timothy 2:3,4 KJV
3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

James 4:7,8 KJV
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you..."

Salvation - By Decree

Bible Questions Answered:
“Pastor I read in the news that the ...(religious leader), said that Christ died for everyone, and so that any who do good, they all are redeemed, atheists, nonbelievers, any one. And that, that is what Mark was talking about. I thought that you might have a word or two on that.....”
Ronald/ New York, New York

Bible Answer:
Bible Text:
Mark 9:38-41 NLT
38 John said to Jesus, “Teacher, we saw someone using your name to cast out demons, but we told him to stop because he wasn’t in our group.”
39 “Don’t stop him!” Jesus said. “No one who performs a miracle in My name will soon be able to speak evil of Me.
40 Anyone who is not against us is for us.
41 If anyone gives you even a cup of water because you belong to The Messiah, I tell you the Truth, that person will surely be rewarded.

Poor John, in his exuberance, with still the thoughts of greatness in his mind (verses 33-37), spoke up about an action he had taken earlier.
38 John said to Jesus, “Teacher, we saw someone using your name to cast out demons, but we told him to stop because he wasn’t in our group.”

But Jesus surprised him with His answer.

Where in these verses did Jesus commend universal salvation, by what a stretch of any imagination?

The exorcist mentioned by the disciple John, was no doubt a follower of the Lord Jesus. He had at one time or another heard and seen Jesus, and believed in Him, and spiritual power through His name. Not only that but had received a call to do the work on an evangelist.

Mark 16:15-18 KJV
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
(See the explanation of verse 18- Kept By The Power Of God   )

The Word Of God Tells Us:

I Timothy 2:5,6 KJV
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, The Man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Titus 2:11,12 KJV
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Although The Way Of Salvation is open to all, yet not all choose to receive Him!

The Way Of Salvation:

Isaiah 45:22 KJV
Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Isaiah 55:7 KJV
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto The Lord, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
21 Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that
doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 10:40 KJV
"...he that receiveth Me receiveth Him that sent Me."

John 1:12 KJV
But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

John 3:14-21 KJV
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must The Son Of Man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of The Only Begotten Son Of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than Light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the Light, neither cometh to the Light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth Truth cometh to The Light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

John 5:24 KJV
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 6:68 KJV
Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

John 8:24 KJV
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins.

John 10:9 KJV
I am the Door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved..."

John 14:6 KJV
Jesus saith unto him (Thomas), I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

Acts 2:21,38 KJV
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of The Lord shall be saved.
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive The Gift Of The Holy Ghost.

Acts 4:10-12 KJV
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead...
11 This is The Stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become The Head Of The Corner.
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Acts 10:43 KJV
To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins.

Romans 3:23-25 NLT
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 For God presented Jesus as the Sacrifice For Sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed His life, shedding His blood..."

Romans 5:1 NLT
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

Romans 6:23 KJV
For the wages of sin is death; but The Gift Of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Galatians 2:16 KJV
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Ephesians 2:8,9 KJV
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is The Gift Of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Titus 3:5 KJV
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of The Holy Ghost;

Hebrews 5:8,9 KJV
8 Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered;
9 And being made perfect, He became The Author Of Eternal Salvation unto all them that obey Him;

II Peter 3:9 KJV
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I John 1:9,10 KJV
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

I John 2:1-6 NLT
1 My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an Advocate who pleads our case before The Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.
2 He Himself is The Sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.
3 And we can be sure that we know Him if we obey His commandments.
4 If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in The Truth.
5 But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love Him. That is how we know we are living in Him.
6 Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.

I John 5:1 KJV
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is The Christ is born of God..."

Revelation 5:9 KJV
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou (God's Son) art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

How are men redeemed?

I Peter 1:18,19 KJV
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed* with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of A Lamb without blemish and without spot:

*Redeemed-Greek: Lutroo (Loo-tro-o): To ransom, redeem.

Romans 10:9,10,13 KJV
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth The Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of The Lord shall be saved.

Any one that would dare teach any other way of salvation, he is a liar, a false teacher and a false prophet!

I Corinthians 16:22 KJV
If any man love not The Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

I Corinthians 16:22 NLT
If anyone does not love the Lord, that person is cursed. Our Lord, come!

Prayer Request: Alexandria, and Menbal, Egypt, Coptic Christians.

Prayer Request: Alexandria, and Menbal, Egypt, Coptic Christians.

Please pray for Christians as two different cities in Egypt.

  1. Please pray for Christians in the village of Alexandria. St. Mary's Church of the Dakhela district, west of Alexandria was attacked by Muslims. They threw everything from Molotov cocktails to bricks, burning and breaking everything they could. One Copt Christian was killed, a 36 year old father of three children, while many others were injured. According to a Muslim security report, the father died of fright, yet his body in the morgue, was full of bruises and shot blasts.

A 19 year old had been beaten severely, and was in the hospital, had a severe brain injury
and was unconscious, yet chained to his bed, so that he, Muslim officials said, could not
escape. Sources said that 1,000 Copts were attacked by over 20,000 Muslims. Shot blasts
and bricks were used against the Coptic Christians.

  1. Please pray for Christians in the village of Menbal, which is in the district of f Matay, north of Minya province. A Crowd of Muslims attacked the village of Church of Prince Tadros-el-Mashreki.
Stones were thrown breaking everything in the church. That not being enough, the mob went down the street, destroying and looting everything they thought belonged to Copts. Businesses, pharmacies and their cars were all torched. Copts that were in the streets were beaten.
As some young girls came out of a Coptic Church, Muslim boys hurled plastic bags of urine at them.
Latter that same day, Muslims gathered and attacked the church and the Copts living in the village (of Menbal).
Was was this brutality? It was because they were Christian people!

Please remember to pray for these fellow Christians. Will God's books, record you as having prayed?

Daniel 7:10 KJV
A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him: thousand thousands ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Revelation 20:12 KJV
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Suffering Believers:

Psalms 9:13 KJV
Have mercy upon me, O Lord; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

Psalms 119:86 KJV
All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.

Jeremiah 20:11 KJV
But The Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.

Matthew 5:12 KJV
Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

John 15:18,20 KJV
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also.

Romans 8:35-39 KJV
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I Corinthians 4:11-13 KJV
11 Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling place;
12 And labor, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:
13 Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the off scouring of all things unto this day.

II Corinthians 12:9,10 KJV
9 And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

I Thessalonians 3:4 KJV
For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

II Timothy 3:12 KJV
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

I Peter 4:12-14 KJV
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for The Spirit Of Glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified.

I Peter 4:16 KJV
Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

Bible Lesson: Miracles Of The Old Testament: Jericho's Bitter Waters Made Sweet.

Bible Lesson: Miracles Of The Old Testament: Jericho's Bitter Waters Made Sweet.

Occasion: Elisha's First Miracle.

Location: Jericho.

Bible Text:
II Kings 2:19-22 NLT
19 One day the leaders of the town of Jericho visited Elisha. “We have a problem, my lord,” they told him. “This town is located in pleasant surroundings, as you can see. But the water is bad, and the land is unproductive.”
20 Elisha said, “Bring me a new bowl with salt in it.” So they brought it to him.
21 Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it. And he said, “This is what The Lord says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility.”
22 And the water has remained pure ever since, just as Elisha said.

The First eighteen verses of this chapter tell us the story of Elijah's passing into heaven, and Elisha, requesting of the prophet “Please let me inherit a double share of your spirit and become your successor” verse 9.

“You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah replied. “If you see me when I am taken from you, then you will get your request” Verse 10.

Elisha saw Elijah taken up to heaven, and so The Spirit of Elijah rested upon Elisha.

II Kings 2:19 NLT
One day the leaders of the town of Jericho visited Elisha. “We have a problem, my lord,” they told him. “This town is located in pleasant surroundings, as you can see. But the water is bad, and the land is unproductive.”

The absolute most a person can survive without water is 7 days. Life cannot exist without it.
Not only was Jericho's water bad for human consumption, crops couldn't be grown in it either.

The people needed a miracle, and now it was time to see if indeed The Spirit of Elijah rested upon Elisha!

II Kings 2:20 NLT
Elisha said, “Bring me a new bowl with salt in it.” So they brought it to him.

Why salt? The mineral salt, like water is absolutely necessary for life. Salt was used as a seasoning, a preservative, and as a disinfectant.

What was it Jesus said?
Matthew 5:13 KJV
Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savor, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

What does it mean? It means Christians, that we Spirit filled believers are a spiritual preservative in the world! Should we loose our saltiness, our spirituality, not only will we be in loss, but all those around us, who could have been helped and saved, will not be.

II Kings 2:21,22 NLT
21 Then he went out to the spring that supplied the town with water and threw the salt into it...”

John 17:14-19 KJV (Christians in the world.)
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through Thy Truth: Thy Word Is Truth.
18 As thou hast sent Me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through The Truth.

II Kings 2:21,22
...And he said, “This is what The Lord says: I have purified this water. It will no longer cause death or infertility.”
22 And the water has remained pure ever since, just as Elisha said.

Faith and Salt, had made the difference. Elisha was God's man of faith, in the power of Elijah, and the people of God, knew it.

These wonderful stories from long ago past, are for our edification today. They tell us that by faith and The Spirit of God, we may see miracles as well, today.

Lives changed, by the power of God, from lifeless, to living and radiant.
Men and women with changed lives, loving and serving The Living God, and their fellow man.

Friends, throw in the salt! By faith, The Spirit Of God, will perform the spiritual synthesis, transforming death to life, if we but believe!

I Corinthians 2:5 KJV
"...your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."

Garments-Ecclesiastical

Bible Questions Answered:
“I traveled to my brothers home in Kansas, and went to a church there, different from my own. There one could not tell the pastor from anyone else in the congregation. When he stood up to speak, he wore a suit as any other man. What scriptures do we have to say this should not be right, it is not so in my home church for sure!”
Patrick/ St. Louis, Missouri U.S.A.

Bible Answer:
God gave instructions for the Priest, Aaron, and his sons, to have (Exodus 28:1-5,31-43 KJV):
  • Verse 2, Special clothing.
  • Verse 2, Clothing that showed their separation to God.
  • Verse 2, Their garments were to be beautiful.
  • Verse 2, Garments that would display the dignity of their work.
  • Verse 3, Aaron and his sons were to be “set apart,” from everyone else.
  • Verse 8/31 Aaron and his sons were to have a robe, of ..
    Blue which spoke of heaven.
Purple which spoke of service to The Living God, of all royalty.
    Scarlet which spoke of sacrifice.
Gold which spoke of service to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
  • Verse 42 Under garments were to be of linen-denoting coolness to the skin, not any wool, that could cause sweat. Thus denoting....Ephesians 2:8,9 KJV
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
  • Verse 6 There was also an Ephod.
  • Verse 40 Bonnets. (Holiness Unto The Lord.) Spoke of the Holiness of God, but also holiness of the Priest, which was an absolute must!

Scripture:
Exodus 28:1-5,31-43 KJV
1 And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto Me in the priest's office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.
2 And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.
3 And thou shalt speak unto all that are wise hearted, whom I have filled with The Spirit Of Wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, that he may minister unto Me in the priest's office.
4 And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto Me in the priest's office.
5 And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.
31 And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.
32 And there shall be an hole in the top of it, in the midst thereof: it shall have a binding of woven work round about the hole of it, as it were the hole of an habergeon, that it be not rent.
33 And beneath upon the hem of it thou shalt make pomegranates of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, round about the hem thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:
34 A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe round about.
35 And it shall be upon Aaron to minister: and his sound shall be heard when he goeth in unto the holy place before the Lord, and when he cometh out, that he die not.
36 And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, Holiness To The Lord.
37 And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be.
38 And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before The Lord.
39 And thou shalt embroider the coat of fine linen, and thou shalt make the mitre of fine linen, and thou shalt make the girdle of needlework.
40 And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for glory and for beauty.
41 And thou shalt put them upon Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto Me in the priest's office.
42 And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:
43 And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near unto the altar to minister in the holy place; that they bear not iniquity, and die: it shall be a statute for ever unto him and his seed after him.

Exodus 29:5,29 KJV
5 And thou shalt take the garments, and put upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod:
29 And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.

Exodus 31:10 KJV
And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office,

Exodus 39:1 KJV
1 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as The Lord commanded Moses.
22 And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.
23 And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.
24 And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.
25 And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;
26 A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as The Lord commanded Moses.
27 And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,
28 And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,
29 And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as The Lord commanded Moses.
30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, Holiness To The Lord.
31 And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the mitre; as The Lord commanded Moses.

Leviticus 8:6,7 KJV
6 And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.
7 And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the curious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.

Ezekiel 44:16-19 KJV
16 They shall enter into My sanctuary, and they shall come near to My table, to minister unto Me, and they shall keep My charge.
17 And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.
18 They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with any thing that causeth sweat.
19 And when they go forth into the utter court, even into the utter court to the people, they shall put off their garments wherein they ministered, and lay them in the holy chambers, and they shall put on other garments; and they shall not sanctify the people with their garments.

This not a study on the Tabernacle, nor of the Priesthood of Aaron, and his sons, mention here is made only to show that God did have something in mind for His Priest Aaron, and it was to set him apart from all others.

This special “setting apart,” was not to make Aaron holy, just the converse, because he was a righteous man, and set apart to The Lord, God gave him special garments.

A minister of God, must be without spot, blameless before the world!
Stop here and read The Word Of The Lord, concerning Pastors and Deacons.

Pastors: (Subject List:)  Pastor

Deacons: (Bible Lessons:)  Deacon

So, the question, should Pastors, wear ecclesiastical garments?
According to God's Word,........yes!

Special garments, remind parishioner and Pastor, that the man of God is “set apart unto The Lord,”
“Holy Unto The Lord”.

As believers, "set apart unto The Lord," we all have special robes, seen or not!

Isaiah 61:10 KJV
I will greatly rejoice in The Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh Himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Revelation 3:5,18 KJV
5 He that over cometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels.
18 I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in The Fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.

Revelation 4:4 KJV
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

Revelation 7:9 KJV
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before The Throne, and before The Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

Revelation 19:7,8 KJV
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to Him: for the marriage of The Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Heaven-Crying In

Bible Questions Answered:
“How in the world can heaven be heaven if we know a cherished friend is burning in hell forever?”
Roxanne/ Buffalo, New York

Bible Answer:

The answer to this question, is not an easy one.
First of all the scriptures…..

Revelation 7:17 KJV
For The Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Revelation 21:4 KJV
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Yes, in heaven, there will be for some, a time of sorrow.

Sins of Omission:
Sorrow over not witnessing to dear cherished friend, that went out into eternity, lost, whereas a word from you and they could have been rescued!

Ezekiel 3:18-21 KJV

Sins of Commission:
Things you shouldn't have done, yet you were drawn to do them, gossip, backbiting, bigotry, etc. etc.

Romans 14:7,12,13 KJV
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

Sins of Ignorance:
Things you said or did, you didn't even know about, that hurt The Lord. And you were ignorant, because you failed to read and study His Word.

Psalm 119:11 KJV
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psalm 139:23,24 KJV
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Crying in the midst of the most wonderful, happy, care free, holy place there is, and all because of earthly mistakes we have made.

Dear friends forever lost....if we don't witness to them, yes.
What sorrow indeed.

And it is also true that God does not send people to hell, they by their own choices, send themselves there!
A child of God's creation, which could have brought to Him, eternal joy, forever lost to damnation.

How can a Christian enjoy the bliss of heaven, knowing that a dear friend has been forever lost?

One would only have to look into the face of the Savior.
There would be your answer.
Selah

No one in heaven, ever would ask the Savior such a question, on earth yes, because we simply do not see, we simply do not understand.

Dear friend, were you, in earthly form, to be transported to heaven and ask the Savior, His response would be forever an answer to your question.
He would reply, “But, he (or she), never loved Me.”

That reply, may not sound like much in our sin hardened world, but were we in heaven, beholding the glory of The Lord, His beauty, His sinlessness, His Holiness, His indescribable love and care, …...
we would know, we would know!

All who enter hell enter through the same gate, that of the unpardonable sin, of rejecting The Savior and His dear Holy Spirit.

Psalm 27:4 KJV
One thing have I desired of The Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of The Lord all the days of my life, to behold The Beauty Of The Lord, and to enquire in His Temple.

Psalm 90:17 KJV
And let The Beauty Of The Lord our God be upon us..."

Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince Of Peace.

Daniel 10:1-9 KJV
1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
4 And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;
5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain Man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
6 His body also was like the beryl, and His face as the appearance of lightning, and His eyes as lamps of fire, and His arms and His feet like in color to polished brass, and the voice of His words like the voice of a multitude.
7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
9 Yet heard I the voice of His words: and when I heard the voice of His words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.

Matthew 17:2 KJV
And was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the Light.

Luke 2:11 KJV
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ The Lord.

John 1:9,14,29 KJV
9 That was The True Light (Christ), which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of The Only Begotten Of The Father,) full of grace and truth.
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold The Lamb Of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 8:12 KJV
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am The Light Of The World: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have The Light Of Life.

John 10:11 KJV
I am The Good Shepherd: The Good Shepherd giveth His life for the sheep.

John 10:14 KJV
I am The Good Shepherd, and know My sheep, and am known of Mine.

I Corinthians 2:8 KJV
"... The Lord Of Glory.

I Corinthians 10:4 KJV
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Ephesians 1:22 KJV
And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church,

Hebrews 4:14 KJV
Seeing then that we have a Great High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus The Son Of God, let us hold fast our profession.

I Peter 2:7 KJV
Unto you therefore which believe He is precious..."

Revelation 1:13-18 KJV
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks One like unto The Son Of Man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And His feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And He had in His right hand seven stars: and out of His mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and His countenance was as the sun shineth in His strength.
17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am The First And The Last:
18 I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Revelation 4:2,3 KJV
2 And immediately I was in The Spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and One sat on the throne.
3 And He that sat was to look upon like a Jasper and a Sardine Stone: and there was a Rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an Emerald.

Revelation 19:11-13,16 KJV
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful And True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.
13 And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word Of God.
16 And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

Psalm 30:4,5 KJV
4 Sing unto The Lord, O ye saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.
5 For His anger endureth but a moment; in His favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
