Bible Text:
Hebrews 2:9,10 KJV
9 But we see
Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the
suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by
the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10 For it became Him, for whom are
all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto
glory, to make The Captain Of their Salvation perfect through
sufferings.
The eternal
incarnate Christ, the eternal Son of the Father, as God, was perfect
in every way!
John 1:1,2 KJV
1 In the beginning was The Word
(Jesus Christ), and The Word was with God, and
The Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with
God.
Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a Child is born, unto us
a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and
His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The
Everlasting Father, The Prince Of Peace.
Micah 5:2 KJV
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though
thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall He
come forth unto Me that is to be Ruler In Israel; whose goings forth
have been from of old,
from everlasting.
Hebrews 7:1-3
KJV
1 For this Melchisedec, King Of
Salem, Priest Of The Most High God, who met Abraham returning from
the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth
part of all; first being by interpretation King Of Righteousness,
and after that also King Of Salem, which is, King Of Peace;
3 Without father, without mother,
without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life;
but made like unto The Son Of God; abideth a Priest continually.
This eternal Son Of The Father, came into our world as a flesh and
blood man.
And through His
earthly sufferings, and obedience He was declared perfect.
Hebrews 5:7-9
KJV
7 Who in the days of His flesh
(Christ), when He had offered up prayers and supplications with
strong crying and tears unto Him that was able to save Him from
death, and was heard in that He feared;
8 Though He were a Son, yet
learned He obedience by the things which He suffered;
9 And being made perfect,
He became The Author Of Eternal Salvation unto all them that obey
Him;
Psalm 18:30,31
KJV
30 As for God, His way is
perfect: The Word of The Lord is tried: He is a buckler to all
those that trust in Him.
31 For who is God save The Lord?
or who is A Rock save our God?
Hebrews 4:14-16
KJV
14 Seeing then that we have a great
High Priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus The Son Of God,
let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not an High Priest
which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities*; but was
in all points tempted* like as we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto
The Throne Of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help
in time of need.
*Infirmities-Greek:
Astheneia (As-then-i-ah): Feebleness
(of body or mind); by malady; frailty: disease, infirmity, sickness,
weakness.
*Tempted-Greek:
Peirazo (Pi-rad-zo): To test,
i.e. scrutinize, discipline: examine, go about, prove, try.
Hebrews 7:24-26
KJV
24 But this Man, because He
continueth ever, hath an unchangeable Priesthood.
25 Wherefore He is able also to save
them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever
liveth to make intercession for them.
26 For such an High Priest became
us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate
from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
Hebrews 9:14 KJV
How much more shall The Blood Of
Christ, who through The Eternal Spirit
offered Himself without spot
to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve The Living
God?
Hebrews 12:2 KJV
Looking unto Jesus The Author and
Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him
endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at The
Right Hand Of The Throne Of God.
I Peter 1:15,16
KJV
15 But as He which hath called you
is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye
holy; for I am holy.
I John 3:1-5 KJV
1 Behold, what manner of love The
Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of
God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of
God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that,
when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as
He is.
3 And every man that hath this hope
in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.
4 Whosoever committeth sin
transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 And ye know that He was manifested
to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin.
I Peter 2:21-25
KJV
21 For even hereunto were ye called:
because Christ also suffered for us,
leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps:
22 Who did no sin,
neither was guile found in His mouth:
23 Who, when He was reviled, reviled
not again; when He suffered, He
threatened not; but committed Himself to Him that judgeth
righteously:
24 Who His own self bare our sins
in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should
live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
25 For ye were as sheep going
astray; but are now returned unto The Shepherd and Bishop of your
souls.
Our Perfect Savior,
our Captain Of Salvation, our Eternal High Priest, Head Of The
Church, our living example!
I Corinthians
10:13 NLT
The temptations in your life are no
different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will
not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are
tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure.
I Thessalonians
5:23,24 KJV
23 And the very God Of Peace
sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and
body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 Faithful is He that calleth you,
who also will do it.
