Scoffers
Bible Questions Answered:
“...most of my friends don't believe
in God...”

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
We live in what our Bibles calls “the
last days.” Times of great scoffing, and cynicism, nothing is to be
believed, and certainly no one.
Cynicism:
An attitude of scornful or jaded
negativity, especially a general distrust of the integrity or
professed motives of others:
(The Free Dictionary-Farlex)
II Timothy 3:1-5 NLT
1 You should know this, Timothy,
that in the last days there will be very difficult times.
2 For people will love only
themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud,
scoffing at God, disobedient
to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred.
3 They will be unloving and
unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They
will be cruel and hate what is good.
4 They will betray their friends, be
reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God.
5 They will act religious, but they
will reject the power that could make them Godly. Stay away from
people like that!
Scoffers:
To speak
derisively; mock; jeer.

and die! For I am doing something in your own day something you
wouldn’t believe even if someone told you about it.
II Peter 3:3,4

shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise
of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue
as they were from the beginning of the creation.
Jude 17-21 KJV
17 But, beloved, remember ye the

Christ;
