Bible Texts:
I Peter 4:4,5 KJV
4 Wherein they
think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of
riot, speaking evil of you:
5 Who shall
give account to Him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.
Revelation 20:11-15 NLT (Judgment
of the lost.)
11 And I saw a Great White Throne
and The One sitting on it. The earth and sky fled from His presence,
but they found no place to hide.
12 I saw the dead, both great and
small, standing before God’s Throne. And the books were opened,
including The Book Of Life. And the dead were judged according to
what they had done, as recorded in the books.
13 The sea gave up its dead, and
death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according
to their deeds.
14 Then death and the grave were
thrown into the lake of fire. This lake of fire is the second death.
15 And anyone whose name was not
found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.
Yes, everyone who
has ever rejected The Savior, will be judged, at The Great White
Throne, judgment, and thrown into the lake of fire.
But the whole story
is that Christians too, will one day come before The Judge, not to be
sentenced as for eternal life, but a life time of works that they
have done, are they worthy of fame (reward), or fire.
Romans 14:11,12
KJV
11 For it is written, As I live,
saith The Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every
tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us
shall give account of himself to God.
(Christians)
Is it possible that
Christian leaders, and parishioners, have done works that do not
deserve reward, works that do not deserve fame, but fire, yes!
Hebrews 13:17
KJV
Obey them that have the rule over
you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they
that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with
grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
I Corinthians
3:11-17 KJV
11 For other foundation can no man
lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this
foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work
shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it
shall be revealed by fire; and the fire
shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
(Hebrews 12:29
KJV For our God is a consuming fire.)
14 If any man's work abide which he
hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be
burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet
so as by fire. (Because his works, will be purified as by fire.)
(Revelation
21:27 KJV And there shall in no wise enter into it (Heaven)
any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or
maketh a lie...")
16 Know ye not that ye are the
temple of God, and that The Spirit Of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of
God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which
temple ye are.
II Timothy
2:19-21 KJV
19 Nevertheless the foundation of
God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are
His. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from
iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are
not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of
earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.
21 If a man therefore purge himself
from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for
The Master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

A story of the
unforgiving debtor, from Jesus:
Matthew 18:21-35
NLT
21 Then Peter came to Him and asked,
“Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me?
Seven times?”
22 “No, not seven times,” Jesus
replied, “but seventy times seven!
23 “Therefore, the Kingdom of
Heaven can be compared to a king who decided to bring his accounts up
to date with servants who had borrowed money from him.
24 In the process, one of his
debtors was brought in who owed him millions of dollars.
25 He couldn’t pay, so his master
ordered that he be sold—along with his wife, his children, and
everything he owned—to pay the debt.
26 “But the man fell down before
his master and begged him, ‘Please, be patient with me, and I will
pay it all.’
27 Then his master was filled with
pity for him, and he released him and forgave his debt.
28 “But when the man left the
king, he went to a fellow servant who owed him a few thousand
dollars. He grabbed him by the throat and demanded instant payment.
29 “His fellow servant fell down
before him and begged for a little more time. ‘Be patient with me,
and I will pay it,’ he pleaded.
30 But his creditor wouldn’t wait.
He had the man arrested and put in prison until the debt could be
paid in full.
31 “When some of the other
servants saw this, they were very upset. They went to the king and
told him everything that had happened.
32 Then the king called in the man
he had forgiven and said, ‘You evil servant! I forgave you that
tremendous debt because you pleaded with me.
33 Shouldn’t you have mercy on
your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?’
34 Then the angry king sent the man
to prison to be tortured until he had paid his entire debt.
35 “That’s what My Heavenly
Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and
sisters from your heart.” (This said, by Jesus.)
The debtor
appeared, humble and very thankful as he left the all forgiving king,
and yet, he was an angry, unforgiving monster, in
his heart.
Daniel 2:20,22
KJV
20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed
be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are His:
22 He revealeth the deep and secret
things: He knoweth what is in the darkness, and The Light dwelleth
with Him.

Romans
5:7,8 KJV
7 For scarcely for a
righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some
would even dare to die.

His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died
for us.

mouth confession is made unto Salvation.
