Bible Lesson: Prophecies Made By The
Lord Jesus: Our Lord's Seconding Coming And The End Of The World.
Bible Text: The Prophecy:
The Beginning Of Sorrows:
1.) Matthew 24:3-8 KJV (Luke
21:7-11)
3 And as He sat
upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately,
saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the
sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus
answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many
shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall
hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for
all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation
shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there
shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are
the beginning of sorrows.
2.) Matthew
24:15-22 KJV (Mark 13:14-20/ Luke 21:20-33)
15 When ye
therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by
Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him
understand:)
16 Then let
them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him
which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his
house:
18 Neither let
him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto
them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye
that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day:
21 For then
shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of
the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except
those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but
for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
3.) Luke 21:24
KJV
And they shall
fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all
nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until
the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Bible Text: The Fulfillment:
Good And Bad To Grow Together Till
The End Of The Harvest:
1.) Matthew 13:24-30 KJV
24 Another
parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is
likened unto A Man which sowed good seed in His field:
25 But while
men slept, His enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went
his way.
26 But when the
blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares
also.
27 So the
servants of The Householder came and said unto Him, Sir, didst not
thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto
them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto Him, Wilt thou
then that we go and gather them up?
29 But He said,
Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat
with them.
30 Let both
grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will
say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them
in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into My barn.
2.) Matthew 13:37-43 KJV
37 He answered
and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is The Son Of Man;
38 The field is
the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the
tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy
that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world;
and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore
the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the
end of this world.
41 The Son Of
Man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His
kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall
cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing
of teeth.
43 Then shall
the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
3.) Matthew
13:47,48 KJV
47 Again, the
kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and
gathered of every kind:
48 Which, when
it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good
into vessels, but cast the bad away.
4.) Matthew
13:49,50 KJV
49 So shall it be at the end
of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from
among the just,
50 And shall cast them into
the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Rejection Of The Gospel Brings
Punishment;
1.) Matthew 10:14,15 KJV (Luke 9:5/
10:12)
14 And whosoever shall not receive
you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city,
shake off the dust of your feet.
15 Verily I say unto you, It shall
be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of
judgment, than for that city.
2.) Matthew 11:21-24 KJV (Luke
10:13-15)
21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe
unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in
you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long
ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 But I say unto you, It shall be
more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for
you.
23 And thou, Capernaum, which art
exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty
works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would
have remained until this day.
24 But I say unto you, That it
shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment,
than for thee.
The Son Of Man Will Come In Great
Power And Glory:
1.) Matthew 24:29-31 KJV (Mark
13:24-27/ Luke 21:25-27)
29 Immediately after the
tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon
shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and
the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign
of The Son Of Man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the
earth mourn, and they shall see The Son Of Man coming in the clouds
of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And He shall send His angels
with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His
elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
False Followers Will Be Rejected:
1.) Matthew 7:13,14 KJV
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate:
for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to
destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and
narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that
find it.
2.) Luke 13:23,24 KJV
23 Then said one unto Him, Lord,
are there few that be saved? And He said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in at the strait
gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not
be able.
3.) Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
21 Not every one that saith unto
Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that
doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day,
Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have
cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto
them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.
4.) Luke 13:26,27 KJV
26 Then shall ye begin to say, We
have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our
streets.
27 But He shall say, I tell you, I
know you not whence ye are; depart from Me, all ye workers of
iniquity.
5.) Matthew 8:11,12 KJV
11 And I say unto you, That many
shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham,
and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
12 But the children of the kingdom
shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and
gnashing of teeth.
6.) Luke 13:28-30 KJV
28 There shall be weeping and
gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob,
and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves
thrust out.
29 And they shall come from the
east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and
shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
30 And, behold, there are last
which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
Rewards Will Be Given To The
Faithful:
1.) Mark 10:29,30 KJV
29
And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man
that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother,
or wife, or children, or lands, for My sake, and the gospel's,
30 But he shall receive an
hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and
mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world
to come eternal life.
2.) Matthew 19:28-30 KJV (Luke
18:29,30)
28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily
I say unto you, That ye which have followed Me, in the regeneration
when The Son Of Man shall sit in the throne of His glory, ye also
shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 And every one that hath forsaken
houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or
children, or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold,
and shall inherit everlasting life.
30 But many that are first shall be
last; and the last shall be first.
3.) Luke 22:28-30 KJV
28
Ye are they which have continued with Me in My temptations.
29 And I appoint
unto you a kingdom, as My Father hath appointed unto Me;
30 That ye may eat and drink at My
table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of
Israel.
\
The Faithful Will Be Rewarded With
Eternal Life:
1.) Matthew 25:31-46 KJV
31 When The Son Of Man shall come
in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit
upon the throne of His glory:
32 And before Him shall be gathered
all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a
Shepherd divideth His sheep from the goats:
33 And He shall set the sheep on
His right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall The King say unto
them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed of My Father, inherit the
kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungered, and ye
gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me drink: I was a stranger,
and ye took Me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed Me: I was
sick, and ye visited Me: I was in prison, and ye came unto Me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer
Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or
thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and
took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in
prison, and came unto thee?
40 And The King shall answer and
say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it
unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.
41 Then shall He say also unto them
on the left hand, Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungered, and ye
gave Me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave Me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took Me
not in: naked, and ye clothed Me not: sick, and in prison, and ye
visited Me not.
44 Then shall they also answer Him,
saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a
stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto
thee?
45 Then shall he answer them,
saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of
the least of these, ye did it not to Me.
46 And these shall go away into
everlasting punishment: but the righteous into Life eternal.
Proverbs 27:1 KJV
Boast
not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring
forth.
Hebrews
3:15 KJV
While it is said, To day if ye will
hear His voice, harden not your hearts...:"
Acts
2:21 KJV
And it shall come to pass, that
whosoever shall call on the name of The Lord shall be saved.
Dear friend, make that call, today!
