Roxanne/ Limousin, France
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
Yes, believers are priests of God!
Exodus 19:4-6 KJV
4 Ye have seen
what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings,
and brought you unto Myself.
5 Now
therefore, if ye will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant,
then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto Me above all people: for
all the earth is Mine:
6 And ye shall
be unto Me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.
Isaiah 61:6 KJV
But ye shall be
named the Priests of The Lord: men shall call you the Ministers of
our God..."
It was the duty of Priests, to offer up pure sacrifices , praise,
love and faithfulness to The Lord.
As The Lord's Priests, we are to pray for one another and, especially the lost,
and be in worship and praise to our precious Savior.
This is the calling of every Christian!

And Samuel
said, Hath The Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and
sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of The Lord? Behold, to obey is
better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
Psalm 4:5 KJV
Offer the
sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in The Lord.
Psalm 27:6 KJV
And now shall
mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore

will sing praises unto
The Lord.

shall please The Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns
and hoofs.

sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with
rejoicing.
Psalm 116:17 KJV
I will offer to
thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of
The Lord.
Psalm 141:2 KJV

be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands

more pleased when we do what is right and just than when we offer Him
sacrifices.
Isaiah
1:11-13,18,19 KJV

purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me? saith The Lord:
I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts;
and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he
goats.
12 When ye come
to appear before Me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread My
courts?
13 Bring no
more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto Me; the new moons
and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is
iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
18 Come now,
and let us reason together, saith The Lord: though your sins be as
scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like
crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be
willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

bring to The Lord? Should we bring Him burnt offerings? Should we bow
before God Most High with offerings of yearling calves?
7 Should we
offer Him thousands of rams and ten thousand rivers of olive oil?
Should we sacrifice our firstborn children to pay for our sins?
8 No, O people,
The Lord has told you what is good, and this is what He requires of
you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your
God.
Matthew 7:21 KJV
Not every one
that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of

sinners.”

when He cometh into the world, He saith, Sacrifice and offering thou
wouldest not, but
a body
hast thou prepared Me: (Our body is the temple of The Holy spirit.)
6 In burnt
offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I,
Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of Me,) to do
thy will, O God.
8 Above when He
said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin
thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered
by the law;
9 Then said He,
Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first,
that He may establish the second.

acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:5,6
KJV
5 And from
Jesus Christ, who is The Faithful Witness, and The First Begotten Of
