“...I have a degree and I don't need
these people telling me what to do, so how do I tell these idiots

Bible Texts:
Our Lord addressed
this issue, when He stated...
Matthew 7:1-5
NLT
1 “Do not
judge others, and you will not be judged.
2 For you will
be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is
the standard by which you will be judged.
3 “And why
worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in
your own?
4 How can you
think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that
speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own
eye?
5 Hypocrite!
First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well
enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.
EGO:
Egotism; conceit;
self-importance:
Dictionary.Com
Ego is the Latin
word for "I." So if a person seems to begin every sentence
with "I", it's sometimes a sign of a big ego.
It was the
psychologist Sigmund Freud... who used ego simply to mean one's sense
of self-worth, whether exaggerated or not.
When used in the
"exaggerated" sense, ego is almost the same thing as
conceit.
ego Synonyms;
pride,
pridefulness, self-esteem, self-regard, self-respect

The Lord, Admonishes Us
To Self-Examination:
(Reuben, and Gad, talked to Moses, wanting cattle land east of the
Jordan. See verses 1-24)
Numbers 20:20-24
NLT
20 Then Moses
said, “If you keep your word and arm yourselves for The Lord’s
battles,
21 and if your
troops cross the Jordan and keep fighting until The Lord has driven
out His enemies,
22 then you may
return when The Lord has conquered the land. You will have
fulfilled your duty to
The Lord and to
the rest of the people of Israel. And the land on the east side of
the Jordan will be your property from The Lord.
23 But if
you fail to keep your word, then you will have sinned against The
Lord, and you may be sure that your sin will find you out.
(Numbers
32:23 KJV But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned
against The Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out.)
24 Go ahead and
build towns for your families and pens for your flocks, but do
everything you have promised.”
Lamentations 3:40-42 NLT (Israel in Babylon)
40 "...let
us test and examine our ways. Let us turn back to The Lord.
41 Let us lift
our hearts and hands to God in heaven and say,
42 “We have
sinned and rebelled..."
I Corinthians
11:27-34 NLT
27 So anyone
who eats this bread or drinks this cup of The Lord unworthily is
guilty of sinning against the body and blood of The Lord.
28 That is why
you should examine yourself before eating the bread and
drinking the cup.
29 For if you
eat the bread or drink the cup without honoring the body of Christ,
you are eating and drinking God’s judgment upon yourself.
30 That is why
many of you are weak and sick and some have even died.
31 But if we
would examine ourselves, we would not be judged by God in this
way.
32 Yet when we
are judged by The Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not
be condemned along with the world.
33 So, my dear
brothers and sisters, when you gather for The Lord’s Supper, wait
for each other.
34 If you are
really hungry, eat at home so you won’t bring judgment upon
yourselves when you meet together..."
II Corinthians
13:5 NLT
Examine
yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves.
Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have
failed the test of genuine faith.
Galatians 6:4,5 NLT
4 Pay
careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the
satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare
yourself to anyone else.
5 For we are
each responsible for our own conduct.
In the Sinai
dessert, in Israel's wandering judgment, Moses received The Law, and
the plans to construct the Tabernacle, and its brazen alter of
sacrifice, for the first House Of God.
There sacrifice
was given by individuals for their sins and for all of Israel,
offered by the Priests.
Hebrews 8:1-5
NLT Christ Is Our High Priest
8 Here is the
main point: We have A High Priest who sat down in the place of honor
beside The Throne Of The Majestic God in heaven.
2 There He
ministers in The Heavenly Tabernacle, the true place of
worship that was built by The Lord and not by human hands.
3 And since
every high priest is required to offer gifts and sacrifices, our High
Priest must make an offering, too.
4 If He were
here on earth, He would not even be a priest, since there already are
priests who offer the gifts required by the law.
5 They serve in
a system of worship that is only a copy, a shadow of the real one
in heaven. For when Moses was getting ready to build the Tabernacle,
God gave him this warning: “Be sure that you make everything
according to the pattern I have shown you here on the mountain.”
In the church of
The Lord Jesus Christ, is The Alter, a pattern after that which Moses
received, from The Great I am, for the Tabernacle.
At The Alter, in sacrifice, we
yield ourselves to self-examination, by and through The Spirit Of
God, praying....
Psalm 139:23,24 KJV
23 Search me, O
God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if
there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Hebrews 4:5-10
NLT
5 Do you think
the Scriptures have no meaning? They say that God is passionate that
The Spirit He
has placed within us should be faithful to Him.
6 And He gives
grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but
gives grace to the humble.”
7 So humble
yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Come close to
God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners;
purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the
world.
9 Let there be
tears for what you have done. Let there be sorrow and deep grief. Let
there be sadness instead of laughter, and gloom instead of joy.
10 Humble
yourselves before The Lord, and He will lift you up in honor.
Prayer:
Romans 6:23 KJV
“For the wages of sin is death;
but The Gift Of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans
10:9l, 10 KJV
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth The
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made
unto Salvation.
IS
YOUR ALL ON THE ALTAR?
You have longed for sweet peace,
And for faith to increase,
And have earnestly, fervently prayed;
But you cannot have rest,
Or be perfectly blest,
Until all on the altar is laid.
Chorus:
Is your all on the altar of sacrifice laid?
Your heart does the Spirit control?
You can only be blest,
And have peace and sweet rest,
As you yield Him your body and soul.
Would you walk with the Lord,
In the light of His word,
And have peace and contentment alway?
You must do His sweet will,
To be free from all ill,
On the altar your all you must lay.
Oh, we never can know
What the Lord will bestow
Of the blessings for which we have prayed,
Till our body and soul
He doth fully control,
And our all on the altar is laid.
Who can tell all the love
He will send from above,
And how happy our hearts will be made;
Of the fellowship sweet
We shall share at His feet,
When our all on the altar is laid.
