The people of God, had fallen into worshiping the false gods of
heathen nations.
But spiritual adultery, is worshiping anything that is not God!

Those who are not serving God, look (lust after) many things.
Spiritual
Adultery:
Longing after that new shiny car, when you don't have time for church
(as a Christian).
Working that extra job to buy that house on the lake, when you've
never had a minute to witness of the Christian faith.
Fill in the blanks....... anything can usurp the place of God, and
when we let it (as Christians), we commit Spiritual Adultery, we have
lusted after other things in our
hearts.
