The Woman is Israel.

side, he sent over all his possessions.
24 This left Jacob all alone in the

because you have fought with God and with men and have won.”
29 “Please tell me your name,”
Jacob said. “Why do you want to know My name?” The Man replied.

30 Jacob named the place Peniel
(which means “face of God”), for he said, “I have seen
God face to face, yet my life has been spared.”
31 The sun was rising as Jacob left

The 12 stars, the
stars, refer to The Tribes of Israel, the sons of Israel (Jacob).

2 She was pregnant,
and she cried out because of her labor pains and the agony of giving
birth.
3 Then I witnessed
in heaven another significant event. I saw a large red dragon with
seven heads and ten horns, with seven crowns on his heads.
4 His tail swept
away one-third of the stars in the sky, and he threw them to the
earth. He stood in front of the woman as she was about to give birth,
ready to devour her baby as soon as it was born.
5 She gave birth to
A Son (Jesus) who was to rule all nations with an iron rod. And her
Child was snatched away from the dragon
(Calvary) and was caught up to God and to His throne.
That the woman is
Israel, it may be postulated that Jesus (A Son of David) came from
Judah, and that He came from Israel.

wilderness, where God had prepared a place to care for her for 1,260
days.
This time is know
as The Day Of Jacobs Trouble, or The Great Tribulation. This time of
trial for Israel, will be some 3 ½ years.
The Antichrist who
help Israel, through a 7 year covenant of peace, initiates the
rebuilding of her temple, but who will after 3 ½ years of its
existence, come to desecrate it.
Daniel 9:27 NLT
The ruler will make a treaty with
the people for a period of one set of seven, but after half this
time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a
climax to all his terrible deeds, he will set up
a sacrilegious object that

The beast (Antichrist), breaks his 7
year peace pact with Israel, and places a statue of himself, in the
temple, to be worshiped. Israel, realizes all too late, this man is
not a Messiah, not a man of peace, but a beast, a beast from hell.
Israel, runs to the
hills of Petra, to escape (Matthew 24:15/ Mark 13:14).

There she would be cared for and protected from the
dragon for a time, times, and half a time (3 ½ years).

the river that gushed out from the mouth of the dragon.
17 And the dragon was angry at the woman and declared war against

The dragon (the devil), knowing his time is short (coming eternal
judgment), tries to destroy Israel, God's people.
Revelation 20:1-3,10 KJV
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the
bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the
Devil, and Satan, and bound him
a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a
seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the
thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed
a little season.
This is the Millennial rule of Christ and His people on earth, a
period of 1,000 years. And after the 1,000 years, he is loosed to go
out and deceive all, who he can, but he is taken ….
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire
and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall
be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
So what commission do these scriptures leave us with today?
