Galatians 6:14-16 NLT

14 As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our

Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died.

15 It doesn’t matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation.

16 May God’s peace and mercy be upon all who live by this principle; they are

the new people of God.

Galatians 6:14-16 KJV

14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon

the Israel of God.

Long ago, Jacob wrestled with The Angel Of The Lord, seeking a special blessing from Him. And

The Angel Of The Lord Told Him this....

Genesis 32:28 KJV

“...Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

The people of God, would be known as Israel.

The Israelites, lived under the ten commandments, which they divide into....

Civic Law (Social Life)

Ceremonial (Mosaic) Law

Rabbinical Law (Rabbis interpretation of the ten commandments.)

Moral Laws (10 commandments.)

This translated into some 613 laws stemming from the 10 commandments.

Seventy one members of a group known as the Sanhedrin, governed these laws.

Hebrews 9:1-12 NLT (Old Rules about Worship)

1 That first covenant between God and Israel had regulations for worship and a place of worship here on earth.

2 There were two rooms in that Tabernacle. In the first room were a lamp stand, a table, and sacred loaves of bread on the table. This room was called the Holy Place.

3 Then there was a curtain, and behind the curtain was the second room called The Most Holy Place.

4 In that room were a gold incense altar and a wooden chest called The Ark Of The Covenant, which was covered with gold on all sides. Inside The Ark were a gold jar containing manna, Aaron’s staff that sprouted leaves, and the stone tablets of the covenant.

5 Above The Ark were the cherubim of divine glory, whose wings stretched out over The Ark’s cover, the place of atonement. But we cannot explain these things in detail now.

6 When these things were all in place, the priests regularly entered the first room as they performed their religious duties.

7 But only the high priest ever entered The Most Holy Place, and only once a year. And he always offered blood for his own sins and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.

8 By these regulations The Holy Spirit revealed that the entrance to The Most Holy Place was not freely open as long as The Tabernacle and the system it represented were still in use.

9 This is an illustration pointing to the present time. For the gifts and sacrifices that the priests offer are not able to cleanse the consciences of the people who bring them.

10 For that old system deals only with food and drink and various cleansing ceremonies—physical regulations that were in effect only until a better system could be established.

(Christ Is the Perfect Sacrifice)

11 So Christ has now become The High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world.

12 With His Own Blood—not the blood of goats and calves—He entered The Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.

II Corinthians 5:17 KJV

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

II Corinthians 5:17 NLT

"...anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

The Israel Of God today, are blood washed believers, who have forsaken the world, and who follow The Lord Jesus Christ.

II Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath Light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of The Living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith The Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

18 And will be A Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith

The Lord Almighty.

God's family today is, neither Jew or Gentile, but His blood washed believers, who serve The Lord. Are you a part of The Israel Of God?
