When you received your drivers license, was it because you felt peculiarly confident that day?
No, it was because you proved to the Chief Constable that you indeed were physically fit, and had a working knowledge of the roads and their rules. And so he passed you a license to drive.
When God declares us to be clean, it has noting to do with our emotions, but The Truth of His Word.
