Bible Questions Answered:
“Are the Jews building a new
temple?...”
Boris/ Saint Petersburg, Russia
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
First was Solomon's temple 822 B.C., then
Herod's temple 1 B.C., and yet scripture speaks of a third temple, yet
unbuilt.
Ezekiel the prophet, prophesied in
Ezekiel chapters 40-48, about a (future) temple (the like of
which has not yet been seen). For his last day prophesies to take
place, that temple must be built.
Ezekiel 41:1,4,15,20-25 NLT
1 After that, the man brought me
into the sanctuary of the Temple. He measured the walls on
either side of its doorway,[a] and they were 10 1⁄2 feet[b] thick.
4 The inner room of the sanctuary
was 35 feet long and 35 feet wide. “This,” he told me, “
is the Most Holy Place.”
15 The building to the west,
including its two walls, was also 175 feet wide.
The sanctuary, the inner room, and
the entry room of the Temple
20 from the floor to the top of the
walls, including the outer wall of the sanctuary.
21 There were square columns at the
entrance to the sanctuary, and the ones at the entrance of the Most
Holy Place were similar.
22 There was an altar made of wood,
5 1⁄4 feet high and 3 1⁄2 feet across. Its corners, base, and
sides were all made of wood. “This,” the man told me, “is the
table that stands in The Lord’s presence.”
23 Both the sanctuary and The Most
Holy Place had double doorways,
24 each with two swinging doors.
25 The doors leading into the
sanctuary were decorated with carved cherubim and palm trees, just as
on the walls. And there was a wooden roof at the front of the entry
room to the Temple.
Ezekiel 42:8 NLT
This wall added
length to the outer block of rooms, which extended for only 87 1⁄2
feet, while the inner block—the rooms toward the Temple—extended
for 175 feet.
Daniel prophesied
of a last day temple, and the man of sin who will bring it
desecration.
Daniel 9:27 AMP
And he will enter into a binding and
irrevocable covenant with the many for one week (seven years), but in
the middle of the week he will stop the sacrifice and grain offering
(At the third temple) [for the remaining three and one-half years];
and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate,
even until the complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured
out on the one who causes the horror.”
Daniel 9:27 MSG
“‘Then for one seven (7 years),
he (the anti-Christ) will forge many and strong alliances, but
halfway through the seven he will banish worship and prayers. At the
place of worship (Third temple),
a desecrating obscenity will
be set up and remain until finally the desecrator himself is
decisively destroyed.’”
Daniel 9:27 ERV
“Then the future ruler will make
an agreement with many people. That agreement will continue for one
week (7 years). The offerings and sacrifices (At the third temple)
will stop for a half of a week. And a destroyer will come. He will do
terrible, destructive things, but God has ordered that
destroyer to be completely destroyed.”
Daniel 9:27 KJV
And he (The ant-Christ) shall
confirm the covenant with many for one week (7 years): and in the
midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to
cease (At the third temple), and for the overspreading of
abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the
consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Daniel 9:27 NLT
The ruler will make a treaty with
the people for a period of one set of seven (years), but after half
this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings (At the
third temple.). And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he will
set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration, until
the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him.”
This verse speaks
of a temple yet to be, and so too do these.
Matthew 24:15,16
KJV
15 When ye therefore shall see the
abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stand in the holy place (The third temple), (whoso readeth, let him
understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea
flee into the mountains:
Matthew 24:15,16
NLT
15 “The day is coming when you will see what Daniel the prophet
spoke about—the
sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing in the
Holy Place (Third temple-not yet built).
\” (Reader, pay attention!)
16 “Then those in Judea must flee to the hills.
II Thessalonians
2:3-5 KJV
3 Let no man deceive you by any
means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away
first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of
perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself
above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God,
shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was
yet with you, I told you these things?
II Thessalonians
2:3-5 NLT
3 Don’t be fooled by what they
say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion
against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one
who brings destruction.
4 He will exalt himself and defy
everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will
even sit in the temple of God (Not yet built), claiming
that he himself is God.
5 Don’t you remember that I told
you about all this when I was with you?
Today all that is
left of Herod's temple is what has been come to be known as “the
wailing wall,” or Western Wall.” Called Wailing Wall, for there,
they have mourned over the loss of Solomon's and Herod's temples.
Will a new temple
be built? There is the problem, for on the temple mount is also “The
Dome of The Rock,” a mosque where the temple should stand, held
dear by Muslims.
Muslims believe, it
was here where prophet Mohamed ascended into heaven, and so then,
sacred to them.
Priestly garments
and artifacts for inside the temple have already been made.

Where does that
place the church of The Lord Jesus Christ, in prophecy?

(And No Tribulation) Rapture:
Revelation

made of the church of The Lord Jesus Christ, because the church has
been raptured into heaven (I Corinthians 15:51-58/ I Thessalonians
4:13-18)

hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He

1 “At that time Michael, the
archangel who stands guard over your nation, will arise. Then there
will be a time of anguish greater than any since nations first came
into existence. But at that time every one of your people whose name
is written in the book will be rescued.
2 Many of those whose bodies lie
dead and buried will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to
shame and everlasting disgrace.
3 Those who are wise will shine as
bright as the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness will
shine like the stars forever.
Zephaniah 2:2,3
NLT
2 Gather before judgment begins,
before your time to repent is blown away like chaff. Act now, before
the fierce fury of The Lord falls and the terrible day of The Lord’s
anger begins.
3 Seek The Lord, all who are humble,
and follow His commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly.
Perhaps even yet The Lord will protect you— protect you from His
anger on that day of destruction.
Luke 17:26-30
KJV
26 And as it was in the days of Noe,
so shall it be also in the days of The Son Of Man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they
married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah
entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the
days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they
planted, they built;
29 But the same day that Lot went
out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed
them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day
when The Son Of Man is revealed.
(The days of Noah,
the flood could not start, until God had shut Noah and his family
safe inside the Ark.
Genesis 7:16 KJV
And they that went in, went in male
and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and The Lord shut
him in.
The days of Lot,
Fire and brimstone could not fall, until Lot and his wife and
daughters were safe outside the city of Sodom.
Genesis 19:22
KJV The angel spoke to Lot saying...
Haste thee, escape thither; for I
cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of
the city was called Zoar.)
Luke 21:36 KJV
Watch ye therefore, and pray always,
that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall
come to pass, and to stand before The Son Of Man.
Romans 5:9 KJV
Much more then, being now justified
by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
I Thessalonians
5:9 KJV
For God hath not
appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus
Christ,
II Timothy 4:18
KJV
And The Lord shall deliver me from
every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom: to
whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
II Peter 2:9 KJV
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the
Godly out of temptations (trials), and to reserve the unjust unto the
day of judgment to be punished:
Revelation 3:10
KJV
Because thou hast kept the word of
My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which
shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Revelation 3:10
NJKV
Because you have kept My command to
persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall
come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
Revelation 3:10
NLT
“Because you have obeyed My
command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of
testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong
to this world.
Revelation 18:4
KJV
And I heard another voice from
heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers
of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
Conclusion:
If the church of The Lord Jesus Christ Is “not,” here for the
Tribulation, and we will not be, as we have just seen, and today,
world leaders are meeting together in making plans for the rebuilding
the Jewish third temple. Just how close do you think the rapture of
the church is?
Friends, we are living but moments before the secret catching away of
God's people!!
I Corinthians 15:51-58 NLT
51 But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed!
52 It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed.
53 For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.
54 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”
56 For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. 57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for The Lord, for you know that nothing you do for The Lord is ever useless.
Do you know The Lord?
John 3:16,17,36 KJV
16 For
God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the
world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
36 He that believeth on The Son hath
everlasting Life: and he that believeth not The Son shall not see
Life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 6:37,47 KJV
37 “...him that cometh to Me I
will in no wise cast out.”
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life.
'Acts 2:21 KJV
“And it shall come to pass, that
whosoever shall call on the name of The Lord shall be saved.”
