Church Title: Temple Of God.
Bible Text:
I Corinthians 3:16-23 NLT
16 Don’t you realize that all of
you together are the temple of God and that
The Spirit Of God lives in you?
17 God will destroy anyone who
destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are
that temple.
18 Stop deceiving yourselves. If you
think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a
fool to be truly wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is
foolishness to God. As the Scriptures say,
“He traps the wise in the
snare of their own cleverness.”
20 And again, “The Lord knows the
thoughts of the wise; He knows they are worthless.”
21 So don’t boast about following
a particular human leader. For everything belongs to you—
22 whether Paul or Apollos or Peter,
or the world, or life and death, or the present and the future.
Everything belongs to you,
23 and you belong to Christ, and
Christ belongs to God.

The temple of God;
Individual Christians are likened to a temple, with The Spirit Of God
dwelling within.
I Corinthians
12:13 KJV
For by one Spirit are we all
baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be
bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
All Christians, no
matter where they may be, how old or young, all believing Christian
people, have been baptized in The Holy Spirit, and have Him, living
within!
The Apostle Paul
stated that our bodies are the temple of The Holy Spirit. This
is a spiritual microcosm, and next the church of The Lord Jesus
Christ, here on earth, which is yet a part of
the great
invisible church (the macrocosm), the global believing body
of Christ.

3 For this is the will of God, even
your sanctification..."
4 That every one of you should know
how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor;
II Timothy
2:19-21 KJV
19 Nevertheless the foundation of
God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are
His. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from
iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are
not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and
of earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.
21 If a man therefore purge himself
from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and
meet for The Master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

3:17 NLT
God will destroy anyone who
destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are
that temple.
The Apostle, gives
a dire warning. Should anyone malign The Spirit Of The Living God,
him will He destroy.
That is true of all
three levels of The Temple Of God, the man, the church of The Lord
Jesus Christ, and the invisible church, global and triumphant.
Matthew 16:18

And I say also unto thee...upon this
Rock (Peter's confession of
Christ) I will build My church; and
the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it.
Destroyers of the
temple of God, from the micro – to the macrocosm, individuals who
are hostile to
The Spirit Of
Grace, and those in the church who are trouble makers, and rebel
rousers, and in the invisible (global) church, those who hate any
idea of God, and who are willing to fight against
the church of Jesus
Christ.
