Talebearers
Bible Questions Answered:
Isn't this an error of christianity,
Jesus definitely spoke against the Scribs and Pharisees, when plainly
in Leviticus 19:16, all are told not to be a talebearer! King
David spoke Psalm 34, a violation of this as well!

Slander:
A malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report:
(Dictionary.Com)
Our Lord, never gave any false report
(lies) against the Scribes and Pharisees, everything He said of them,
was true, this the people knew only too well.
Jesus did not “shirk,” as some
prophets of today do, from pointing out the false teachers among the
people!
Matthew 7:15,21-23 KJV
15 Beware of false prophets, which
come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening
wolves.
21 Not every one that saith unto Me,
Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that
doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day,
Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have
cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto
them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.
Smooth operators of
religious pomp and circumstance, rites and rituals, but who never had
nor advocated having a “personal relationship to Jesus Christ, The
Savior, The Author, and Finisher of Christian faith.”
Psalm 34:12,13
KJV
12 What man is he that desireth
life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile.
Psalm 34:12,13
ERV
12 Do you want to enjoy life? Do you
want to have many happy days?
13 Then avoid saying anything
hurtful, and never let a lie come out of your mouth.
To tell The Truth,
is “not,” talebearing, and our Lord always spoke The Truth!
It is the duty of
all Christian people everywhere to tell The Truth.
Matthew 7:1-5
KJV
1 Judge* not, that ye be not judged.
Judge-Greek:
Krino (Kree-no): To Decide, to condemn, punish, condemn, damn,
sentence.
2 For with what judgment ye judge,
ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be
measured to you again.
It is “not,”
the duty of a Christian, to sentence anyone,
but it is the duty of a Christian to warn others!
There is only one
Judge....
Romans 12:19 KJV
Dearly beloved, avenge not
yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written,
Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, saith The Lord.
The Duty Of
God's Child:
Ezekiel 3:17-21
KJV
17 Son of man, I have made thee a
watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my
mouth, and give them warning from Me.
18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou
shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor
speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life;
the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I
require at thine hand.
19 Yet if thou warn the wicked,
and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he
shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
20 Again, When a righteous man doth
turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a
stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given
him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which
he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at
thine hand.
21 Nevertheless if thou warn
the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin,
he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered
thy soul.
Is it talebearing
to tell others that some religious leader is a false prophet? No,
this Jesus did openly.
And it is not
wrong, because it is The Truth, (not a lie, or a false claim of
slander), to warn others.
Talebearing in the
church is when someone speaks of Mr. Jones alcoholism, when we was
delivered from alcoholism over 10 years ago, and is today serving The
Lord with all his heart, yet some won't let the story end, these are
talebearers.
Proverbs 26:20
KJV
Where no wood is, there the fire
goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth
