He changed the name of Abram (Abram:
High Father) to Abraham (Father of a multitude.)
Genesis 17:5 KJV

He changed the namme of Jacob (Heel
Catcher, Supplanter) to Israel (He will rule as God).

He changed the name
of Joseph (Let Him Add), to Zaphnath-paaneah (The man to whom
