Lord Lord-Jesus Is Lord
Bible Questions Answered:
“Pastor, please reconcile Matthew
7:21-2,3 and I Corinthians 12:3. The words of Jesus, seem
to contradict the words of Paul. Paul says no one can say Jesus is
Lord but by the Spirit, and Jesus says not every one that says Lord
Lord...shall enter the kingdom of heaven!”

Bible Texts:
Matthew 7:15-29 KJV
15 Beware of false prophets, which
come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening
wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their
fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth
forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth
evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not
forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye
shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto
Me, Lord*, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but
he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that
day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name
have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto
them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these
sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise
man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the
floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it
fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these
sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish
man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the
floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it
fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus
had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having
authority, and not as the scribes.
*Lord: Greek,
Kurios (Koo-ree-os): (Supremacy); Supreme in authority, i.e
controller; God, Lord, master.
I Corinthians 12:1-7 KJV
1 Now concerning spiritual gifts,
brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles,
carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
(Psalm 115:4-8 KJV)
3 Wherefore I give you to
understand, that
no man speaking by The Spirit Of
God calleth Jesus accursed: and that
no man can say that Jesus is The
Lord*, but by The Holy Ghost.
4 Now there are diversities of
gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of
administrations, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of
operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7 But the manifestation of The
Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

Answer:
One must read the
Word of God, slowly, reverently, prayerfully to be sure one
understands correctly!
Jesus said...
Matthew 7:21 KJV
“Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord*,
Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he
that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven...”
The Apostle Paul
States:
I Corinthians
12:3 KJV
“...no man
can say that Jesus is The Lord*, but by The Holy
Ghost.”
Please, notice the vast difference between these two verses!
One may very easily shout out Lord, Lord!
But it is an entirely different thing for one to shout out.....”Jesus
is the Lord!”
These are not, the same!
Answer:
Both agree, the words of Jesus and the Apostle Paul!
To merely shout out Lord, Lord!
Is tantamount to shouting the title, “Mr. President, Mr.
President.” But that hardly makes you his devoted admirer!
Yes they used Kurios-Lord, but “not,” in a personal sense!
And our Savior tells us that only those who “do the will of The
Father, shall enter the kingdom of heaven.)
Words and Spiritual Fruit, prove whether Jesus is truly The Lord of
their lives, and for many, it will prove that, they will “not,”
be in the kingdom of heaven.
I John 4:1-3 KJV
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they
are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye The Spirit Of God: Every spirit that confesseth
that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ
is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of
antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now
already is it in the world.
Now on the other hand, shouting out “Jesus is the Lord- Jesus
is the Lord,” is a confession that one
believes that Jesus is the Master, Supreme in Authority, Almighty
God!
These as the Apostle states, are the children of God.

Romans 10:8-10
KJV
8 But what
saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:
that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou
shalt confess with thy mouth The Lord Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved.
10 For with the
heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation.
Psalm 16:2 KJV
(David)
O my soul, thou
hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord..."
John 20:28 KJV (Thomas)
And Thomas
answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God.
Philippians 3:8 NLT (Apostle Paul)
Yes, everything
else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing
Christ Jesus
my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting
it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ
