us?”

Bible Answer:
The idea that from birth, we do have
one is found in....
Matthew 18:10 KJV (Jesus)
Take heed that ye despise not one of
these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels
do always behold the face of My Father which is in heaven.
A glorious picture of
angelic“ministering spirits,”awaiting heavenly commands.
Exodus 14:19,2o
KJV
19 And The
Angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and
went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their
face, and stood behind them:
20 And it came
between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was
a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so
that the one came not near the other all the night.
Daniel 6:21,22
KJV
21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O
king, live for ever.
22 My God hath sent His Angel,
and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me:
forasmuch as before Him innocency was found in me; and also before
thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
Acts 12:1-16 KJV (Early
believers, believed in guardian angels.)
1 Now about that time Herod the king
stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
2 And he killed James the brother of
John with the sword.
3 And because he saw it pleased the
Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of
unleavened bread.)
4 And when he had apprehended him,
he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of
soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to
the people.
5 Peter therefore was kept in
prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God
for him.
6 And when Herod would have brought
him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers,
bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the
prison.
7 And, behold, The Angel Of The
Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he
smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly.
And his chains fell off from his hands.
8 And the angel said unto him, Gird
thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto
him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
9 And he went out, and followed him;
and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but
thought he saw a vision.
10 When they were past the first and
the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the
city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and
passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from
him.
11 And when Peter was come to
himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent His
angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all
the expectation of the people of the Jews.
12 And when he had considered the
thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname
was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.
13 And as Peter knocked at the door
of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.
14 And when she knew Peter's voice,
she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter
stood before the gate.
15 And they said unto her, Thou art
mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they,
It is his angel.
16 But Peter continued knocking: and
when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.
Hebrews 1:13,14 KJV (The Apostle
Paul, believed in “ministering spirits.”)
13 But to which of the angels
said He at any time, Sit on My right hand, until I make thine enemies
thy footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering
spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of
salvation?
Psalm 34:7
KJV (David)
The Angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear
Him, and delivereth them.
Angels are, “ministering spirits,” who serve God's people!
What a comfort, what a blessing to all those who name the Lord Jesus
Christ as their Savior and protector!
Psalm 91:9-12
KJV
9 Because thou
hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even The Most High, thy
habitation;
10 There shall
no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For He shall
give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy
ways.
12 They shall
bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Psalm 121:7,8
KJV
7 The Lord
shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord
shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth,
and even for evermore.
Isaiah 40:10,11
KJV
10 Behold, the
Lord God will come with strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him:
behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.
11 He shall
feed His flock like a Shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His
arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that
are with young.
Matthew 18:11-14 KJV (Little ones, either children, or
believers in Christ.)
10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little
ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven
their angels do always behold the face of My Father which is in
heaven.
11 For The Son
of Man is come to save that which was lost.
12 How think
ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray,
doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains,
and seeketh that which is gone astray?
13 And if so be
that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that
sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
14 Even so it
is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of
these little ones should perish.
