Bible Questions Answered: Rapture-Pre-Tribulation-Post

Bible Questions Answered:
I read that there are those who say the rapture is after the tribulation period, is that what the Bible teaches, or is it something else?
Seiler /Rostock, East Germany

Bible Answers:
The Word of God teaches without any doubt, that the rapture of the church of Jesus Christ, will be before the tribulation period (Pre-Tribulation).

* Our Saviour promised the believers at Sardis, as He promises all His people.....
Revelation 3:10 KJV
Because thou hast kept the word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

* Our Lord, has promised to deliver us.
II Peter 2:9 KJV
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

* Christ's promise to His church.
I Thessalonians 5:9 KJV
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

* Christ told us to prepare to escape the day of wrath.
Luke 21:34-36 KJV
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.

* God's word, promises the people of God, to be rescued.
Jeremiah 30:7 NRSV
Alas! that day is so great there is none like it;it is a time of distress for Jacob (The people of God); yet he shall be rescued from it.

* God's word states that the Christian, will be saved from wrath.
Romans 5:9 KJV
Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

* Christ, delivers His people, from wrath.
I Thessalonians 1:9,10 KJV
"...to serve the living and true God;
10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come."

* God's Holy Spirit, who in fills each and every believer, will one day, stop His, “withholding,” the powers of evil, and the Anti-Christ will have free reign on earth.
Certainly, the church will not be here, without the protecting hand of God!
2 thessalonians 2:7,8 NRSV
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but only until the one who now restrains it is removed.
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will destroy with the breath of His mouth, annihilating him by the manifestation of His coming.

* God's people are of Light, and not Darkness.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 KJV
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

* After the rapture, the church is forever, “with,” the Lord. We cannot come with Him, if we have not been with Him, before that time.
Zechariah 14:5 NLT (Second Advent)
3 Then the Lord will go out to fight against those nations, as He has fought in times past. 4 On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem. And the Mount of Olives will split apart, making a wide valley running from east to west. Half the mountain will move toward the north and half toward the south.
5 You will flee through this valley, for it will reach across to Azal. Yes, you will flee as you did from the earthquake in the days of King Uzziah of Judah. Then the Lord my God will come, and all His holy ones with Him.

Colossians 3:4 KJV (Second Advent)
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.

Jude 14 (Second Advent)
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints,

* In the book of Revelation, chapters one through three, seven first century churches are spoken of, but after chapter three the church is not seen again until chapter nineteen. The church, as He has said, will escape the tribulation period and its judgments.
Revelation chapters 1-3:

Proof in Bible Types:

Joseph: A type of the Lord Jesus, took a gentile bride, before there were seven years of famine (tribulation).
Moses: A type of the Lord Jesus, too his gentile bride, before his people's tribulation in the land of Egypt.
Enoch: A type of the people of God, was taken up before the judgment of the flood.

Dear friend, do you know the Saviour?
He's secret coming is near.

I Corinthians 15:51-58 KJV
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

I Thessalonians 4:13-18 NLT
13 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.
14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with Him the believers who have died.
15 We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet Him ahead of those who have died.
16 For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves.
17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.
18 So encourage each other with these words.

Matthew 24:42-44 KJV
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh.
