Bible Questions Answered: Resurrection To Life

Bible Questions Answered:
The sinful dead are said to be, dead in trespasses and sin, and headed for the second death, but I read in I Corinthians 15:22, that all are made alive in Christ!
How can this discrepancy be?
George/ Harburg, Germany

Bible Answers:
The scripture to which you refer to is...

I Corinthians 15:12-26 KJV
[12] Now if Christ be preached that He rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
[13] But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
[14] And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
[15] Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom He raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
[16] For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
[17] And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
[18] Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
[19] If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
[20] But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the Firstfruits of them that slept.
[21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
[22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
[23] But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at His coming.
[24] Then cometh the end, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
[25] For He must reign, till he hath put all enemies under His feet.
[26] The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Again.....

I Corinthians 15:12-26 NLT
12 But tell me this—since we preach that Christ rose from the dead, why are some of you saying there will be no resurrection of the dead?
13 For if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised either.
14 And if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless.
15 And we apostles would all be lying about God—for we have said that God raised Christ from the grave. But that can’t be true if there is no resurrection of the dead.
16 And if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins.
18 In that case, all who have died believing in Christ are lost!
19 And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world.
20 But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.
21 So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man.
22 Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life.
23 But there is an order to this resurrection: Christ was raised as the first of the harvest; then all who belong to Christ will be raised when he comes back.
24 After that the end will come, when He will turn the Kingdom over to God the Father, having destroyed every ruler and authority and power.
25 For Christ must reign until He humbles all His enemies beneath His feet.
26 And the last enemy to be destroyed is death.

The Apostle Paul, spoke to the Corinthians in defense of, the resurrection of the dead.
The Apostle specifically states in verse 22, “IN CHRIST shall be made “alive.”
All Born-Again Believers, will be either caught up in resurrection (I Thessalonians 4:13-18/ I Corinthians 15:51-58), or resurrected from the dead, and translated into the glorified, immortal likeness of our Saviour.

No, this is not said of the unrighteous dead!

Will, the unrighteous dead be resurrected?
Yes, but not to life, but to the second death.

Revelation 20:11-15 KJV
[11] And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
[12] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
[13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
[14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
[15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Isn't life synonymous with resurrection?
Absolutely Not!

A marionette, has movement, but does it have life?
Absolutely Not!

The lost dead will be animated to appear at the Great White Throne Judgment, but certainly not through “Newness of Life!”

Christ, is the Christian's Firstrfruits, of resurrection, glorification, and immortality!

Leviticus 23:10 KJV

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:

Colossians 1:18 KJV
And He is the Head of the body, the church: Who is the beginning, the Firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence.

Revelation 1:5 KJV
And from Jesus Christ, who is the Faithful Witness, and the First Begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

Romans 6:9 KJV
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over Him.

And praise God, that will be true of His people as well!
No more sickness, no more diseases, no more pain, no more suffering, nor more death!

John 3:14,15,36 KJV
[14] And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
[15] That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
[36] He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

John 5:24,25 KJV
[24] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
[25] Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
