The Prophecy:

Hosea 11:1 KJV (B.C.740 )

When Israel was A Child, then I loved Him, and called My Son out of Egypt.

Israel was called a son...

Exodus 4:22 KJV (The Lord speaking to Moses.)

And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith The Lord, Israel is My son, even my firstborn:

And through 10 plagues, Israel, the people of God, left Egypt.

The Fulfillment: (For Hosea - History)

Exodus 12:31,32 NLT (Passover – B.C. 1491)

31 Pharaoh sent for Moses and Aaron during the night. “Get out!” he ordered. “Leave my people—and take the rest of the Israelites with you! Go and worship The Lord as you have requested.

32 Take your flocks and herds, as you said, and be gone.

Now The Lord Jesus (God's Son) also was in Egypt, there because of the murderous rampage of Herod, (The slaughter of the innocents).

And God's Son, was called out of Egypt, after the death of Herod.

The Fulfillment: (For Hosea- Future 736 years.)

Matthew 2:13-15 KJV (B.C. 4)

13 And when they were departed, behold, The Angel Of The Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take The Young Child and His mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek The Young Child to destroy Him.

14 When he arose, he took The Young Child and His mother by night, and departed into Egypt:

15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of The Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

God's Knowledge Is Perfect.
