every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like
unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his
treasure things new and old.
Our Lord was
saying,, every disciple, teacher, believer, who has been taught the
gospel, because they are citizens of heaven, should be able to share
with others the great treasurers, he has learned.
The disciples, being Jews, should be able to interpret their knowledge of the Old Testament,
showing that it was but a foreshadowing of The Messiah, God's Son,
The Lord Jesus Christ.

been taught the gospel, because we are citizens of heaven, do we
share with others the great treasurers of knowledge concerning The
Lord Jesus?
