Trumpets-Rapture
Bible Questions Answered:
“Rev. we read your recent blog about
the antichrist and his being cast out. What about, Paul talks about
trumpets, the last trumpet. Where does this fit into the rapture?”

Bible Answer:
Number 10:1-10 NLT (Silver
Trumpets)
1 Now the Lord said to Moses,
2 “Make two trumpets of hammered
silver for calling the community to assemble and for signaling
the breaking of camp.
3 When both trumpets are blown,
everyone must gather before you at the entrance of the Tabernacle.
4 But if only one trumpet is blown,
then only the leaders—the heads of the clans of Israel—must
present themselves to you.
5 “When you sound the signal to move
on, the tribes camped on the east side of the Tabernacle must break
camp and move forward.
6 When you sound the signal a second
time, the tribes camped on the south will follow. You must sound
short blasts as the signal for moving on.
7 But when you call the people to an
assembly, blow the trumpets with a different signal.
8 Only
the priests, Aaron’s descendants, are allowed to blow the trumpets.
This is a permanent law for you, to be observed from generation to
generation.
9 “When you arrive in your own land
and go to war against your enemies who attack you, sound the alarm
with the trumpets. Then the Lord your God will remember you and
rescue you from your enemies.
10
Blow the trumpets in times of gladness, too, sounding them at your
annual festivals and at the beginning of each month. And blow the
trumpets over your burnt offerings and peace offerings. The trumpets
will remind the Lord your God of his covenant with you. I am the Lord
your God.”

A) Trumpet call to assemble.
3 When both trumpets are blown,
everyone must gather before you at the entrance of the Tabernacle.
4 But if only one trumpet is
blown, then only the leaders—the heads of the clans of Israel—must
present themselves to you.
7 But when you call the people to an
assembly, blow the trumpets (Plural-both) with a different
signal.
B) Trumpet call to break camp.
5 “When you sound the signal to move
on, the tribes camped on the east side of the Tabernacle must break
camp and move forward.
6 When you sound the signal a second
time, the tribes camped on the south will follow. You must sound
short blasts as the signal for moving on.
C.) Trumpet call to war.
9 “When you arrive in your own land
and go to war against your enemies who attack you,
sound the alarm with the trumpets
(Plural-two, no doubt a long drawn out blast). Then the Lord your
God will remember you and rescue you from your enemies.
D.) Trumpets of joyous festivals.
10 Blow the trumpets (Plural-two) in
times of gladness, too, sounding them at your annual festivals and at
the beginning of each month. And blow the trumpets over your burnt
offerings and peace offerings. The trumpets will remind the Lord your
God of his covenant with you. I am the Lord your God.”
It is more than probable that all four
of these trumpet alerts, may be sounded at the time of the rapture!
Of their order we know one thing, Paul,
says “at the last trump,” the dead shall be raised, and we
shall be changed.
Out
of necessity the fourth trumpet must be the Trumpet of
Assembly, as it would be the
last trump.
The order of the other three, could
very well be....
1) Trump (Angelic) call to War.
Revelation 12:7-12 KJV
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael
and his angels fought against the dragon (Satan); and the dragon
fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their
place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out,
that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the
whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast
out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in
heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our
God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is
cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood
of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not
their lives unto the death.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and
ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the
sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because
he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
2) Trumpet call to break Camp and
Move Forward.
Joshua 6:20 KJV
So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
II Corinthians 5:1 KJV
For we know that
if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a
building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens
Philippians 3:20 KJV
For our conversation is in heaven; from
whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
II Timothy 4:18 KJV
And the Lord shall deliver me from
every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom: to
whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Titus 2:13 KJV
Looking for that blessed hope, and the
glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Hebrews 11:10 KJV
For (they) looked for a city which hath
foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
3) Trumpet of joyous festivals.
Leviticus 25:9 KJV
Then shalt thou
cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the
seventh month,
in the day of
atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
Psalm 150:3 KJV
Praise Him with
the sound of the trumpet..."
Hebrews 12:22-24
NLT
22 ...you have
come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly
Jerusalem, and to countless thousands of angels in a joyful
gathering.
23 You have come
to the assembly of God’s firstborn children, whose names are
written in heaven. You have come to God Himself, who is the Judge
over all things. You have come to the spirits of the righteous ones
in heaven who have now been made perfect.
24 You have come
to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and
people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness..."
Revelation 7:9-12
KJV
9 After this I
beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all
nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the
throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in
their hands;
10 And cried with
a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the
throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the
angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the
four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped
God,
12 Saying, Amen:
Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and
power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
4) Trumpet call
to Assemble.
John 14:1-3 KJV
1 Let not your
heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 In my Father's
house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I
go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and
prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto
Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
I Corinthians 15:51-58 KJV
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We
shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an
eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the
dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on
incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have
put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality,
then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is
swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O
grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the
strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth
us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be
ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,
forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
I Thessalonians 4:13-18 KJV
13 But I would not have you to be
ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow
not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died
and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring
with Him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word
of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of
the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord Himself shall descend
from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God: and
the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord
in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with
these words.
Dear friend, have
you given your life to the one who has given His for you?
John 3:14-18 KJV
14 And as Moses
lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man
be lifted up:
15 That whosoever
believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so
loved the world, that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent
not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through Him might be saved.
18 He that
believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is
condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the
only Begotten Son of God.
