Prayer Request: Prayers of Thanks to the Lord

Prayers of thanks to the Lord:

January 15th, a miracle took place in New York's Hudson River.
One hundred and fifty five people, who crashed in the river, with their Airbus 1549 -A320 Airbus, airplane, all survived, thanks to a living God who heard the many prayers of passengers who prayer out loud, after their expert Pilot Chesley Sullenberger, announced “Brace for impact!”

The plane was only some three and a half minutes into it's flight leaving New York, when the plane flew into a flock of ducks.
Both large jet engines, flamed out.
The Pilot, decided the thing to do was to ditch the plane in the Hudson River.

A large plane, one hundred and seventy thousand pounds, hitting the water at 150-200 miles usually would break up into many pieces, and many planes have.
Airbus 320, hit the waters of the Hudson River and remained totally intact.
Nearby boats, came to the aid of passengers.

On survivor reportedly said, after the Captains announcement we knew for sure something was terribly wrong.
The large airplane had run into a gathering of birds, which had taken out both of its large jet engines.
Captain Chesley had only seconds to decide what to do. Survivors, shook his hand and told him, just how thankful they were for his wonderful quick thinking and actions.

America's president, President George Bush, called the Captain, to congratulate him on his great life saving landing.
New York's Mayor Michael Bloomberg, called the Captain, a hero, and prepared to give Captain Sullenberger, a key to the city.

Though the ditched aircraft immediately began to take on water, the Captain, was the last one off of the plane.

For all of you who have written about this story, yes, indeed this is a time to give thanks to the Lord, who answers prayers, just ask one hundred and fifty five people in New York City.

Proverbs 18:10 KJV
The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Psalms 91:1-16 NLT
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.
3 For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with His feathers. He will shelter you with His wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
8 Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.
9 If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.
11 For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go.
12 They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.
13 You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My name.
15 When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them.
16 I will reward them with a long life and give them My salvation.

Psalms 121:7,8 KJV
[7] The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.
[8] The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Amen
