Bible Lesson: Symbols Of The Church Of Jesus Christ.

Church Symbol: The Lamb. (The Lord Jesus Christ.)

If you look around your church, no doubt you will see one of three symbols of the Lamb.

One: The Lamb, lying down, with a banner showing the cross. This is a picture of the, suffering Lamb of God.

Two: The Lamb, standing, with a waving banner, a picture of, the Triumphant Lamb of God.

Three: The Lamb, resting upon a book, a book with seven seals: a picture of the Lamb on the Throne, The Reigning Lamb of God.

Isaiah 53:7,8 KJV
[7] He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He openeth not His mouth.
[8] He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare His generation? for He was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was He stricken.

John 1:29 KJV

Revelation 12:10,11 KJV
[10] And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Revelation 15:3 KJV

Dear friend, do you know this wonderful Lamb, the Son of God, the Precious Lord Jesus?
He died for you! He took your place in judgment for sin.
call upon His name today, as Saviour, and He will write your name in the Book of Life.
