How can we have victory over sin if we are not, perfect?

Bible Answer;
Victory over sin, the flesh and the devil, does not mean sinless perfection (sanctification), something strived for but never fully met in this world.
The old saying use to be, “You can't stop a bird from flying overhead, but you can stop him from making a nest in your hair!”
Romans 12:1,2
[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
[2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
II Corinthians 3:18 “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (A daily process in faith, and faithfulness to the Lord.)
Growing in Grace, more and more like the Lord, here, then one day....
in His presence, sanctified, forever to be totally like the Lord, for eternity.
