Heaven, is a real place, the promise of the Saviour, with location, dimensions, and occupants.
John 14:1-3 KJV
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.
2 In My Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Heaven is a real place, a place our Lord, called “My Father's house.”
In the Father's house are, “many mansions.”
Jesus told His followers, that He was going to prepare a place in His Father's house for them.
Jesus also tells us to lay up treasures in heaven.
Matthew 6:19,20 KJV
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Heaven in all of its beauty, is said to be a place of rest.

Heaven, is "far away in the north (NLT verse 13)"

6 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
7 But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.
By inference, we can see that “promotion,” does come from the north, because that is where God's throne is.
Isaiah 66:1 KJV
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool: where is the house that ye build unto Me? and where is the place of My rest?
The Word of God, speaks of three heavens, and that is, the first heaven being the atmosphere around earth as the first heaven. The second heaven, being the starry universe, and the third heaven, being where God's throne, and the celestial city are.
II Corinthians 12:2-4 KJV
2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.
