Bible Questions Answered: Angelic Judgment

Bible Questions Answered;
Will we judge angels?
Lamont/ Edinburgh, Scotland

Bible Answers:

Yes.

I Corinthians 6:2,3 (The Apostle Paul.)
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
(The Millennial reign of Christ, Matthew 25:41.)

3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
(Great White Throne Judgment.)

The Apostle was upset by the fact that Christian people, at odds with each other for one reason or another were going to public (Gentile-Roman), courts.
He admonished them, that if they will one day judge the world, and angels, why can't they seek out men among themselves to resolve disputes, rather than going to pagan courts.

Judging Angels:
One day Christian people will help in the judgment of fallen, evil angels.

Daniel 7:22 KJV
Until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the Most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

II Thessalonians 1:7-10 NLT
7 And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with His mighty angels,
8 in flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus.
9 They will be punished with eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from His glorious power.
10 When He comes on that day, He will receive glory from His holy people—praise from all who believe. And this includes you, for you believed what we told you about Him.

Jude 14,15 KJV
14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints,
15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

Revelation 2:26,27 KJV
26 And he that over cometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of My Father.

Revelation 20:4-6 KJV
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Mighty sinful angels:

Jude 6 KJV
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, He hath reserved in everlasting chains* under darkness* unto the judgment of the great day (Great White Throne Judgment.)

Chains-Desmos (Des-mos): A band, i.e. ligament of the body, or shackle, of a prisoner. Impediment, or disability, band, chain. (ABingdon/Strong Concordance.)

Darkness-Greek-Zophos (Dzof-os): Gloom, as shrouding, like a cloud, blackness, darkness, mist.
(Jude 13 “Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness* for ever. “)

Darkness-Skotos (Skot-os): Shadiness, obscurity, darkness.

II Peter 2:4 KJV
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell*, and delivered them into chains* of darkness*, to be reserved unto judgment;

Hell-Greek-Tartaros (Tar-tar-os): The deepest abyss of Hades. To Incarcerate in eternal torment. Cast down into hell. (Abingdon/Strong Concordance.)

Chains-Greek-Seira (Si-rah): To fasten a chain, binding or drawing.

Darkness-Greek-Zophos (Dzof-os): Gloom, as shrouding, like a cloud, blackness, darkness, mist.
(II Peter 2:17 “These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. “)

Fallen Angels:

Now although confined in prison, there seems yet some mysterious means by which Satan, their master, may summon them yet, for his evil bidding.

Psalm 78:49 KJV
He cast upon them the fierceness of His anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.

Revelation 12:9 KJV
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Christians are secure in their Lord.

I John 4:4 KJV
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Romans 8:37 KJV
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.

Ephesians 6:10-18 KJV
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
