Prayer Requests:
Please pray for the Christians and their churches in Malaysia.
The Malaysian government recently passed a ruling that the Christian churches of Malaysia, may use the name, “Allah” to refer to God.
The Muslims, which comprise no less than ninety percent of Malaysia, consider the name “Allah,” peculiar to their Muslim faith, and have been at odds over Christians free right now to use that sacred name.
They, no doubt are afraid of something and that is that of the other ten percent in Malaysia, are Arabs who have turned Christian, and by allowing others to use that name, they think Arab people will be lead into Christianity.
Many churches have been fire bombed, and desecrated in some way, thankfully, no one as of yet has been hurt.
Surely this kind of thinking, “does-not,” represent all peaceful Arab people!
