18 And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.
19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
These books of art were hardly precious. These were books of satanic worship, witch craft, divination, magic spells and arts. Our world is “not,” at a loss for their destruction!

19 A number of them who had been practicing sorcery brought their incantation books and burned them at a public bonfire.
The value of the books was several million dollars.
20 So the message about the Lord spread widely and had a powerful effect.
This was Ephesus a city of Diana worship, be sure to read Acts 19:23-41.
When the Spirit of God, speaks to our hearts, we will intrinsically know that such works are evil, and that we should have, nothing to do with them. The new converts of Ephesus, did, and as a result, they burnt such literature, so that the minds and hearts of others would not be turned to evil!
