will we really know our loved ones, who are now in heaven, when we
get there?...”

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
The Word Of God, tells us yes!
King David said that one day he would be reunited with his dead son.
II
Samuel 12:22,23 NLT
22
David replied, “I fasted and wept while the child was alive, for I
said, ‘Perhaps The Lord will be gracious to me and let the child
live.’
23
But why should I fast when he is dead? Can I bring him back again? I
will go to him one day, but he cannot return to me.”
Matthew
8:11 NLT (Jesus)
And
I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the
world—from east and west—and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and
Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven.
The disciples, recognized Moses and Elijah, on the mount of
transfiguration.
Matthew 17:1-8 KJV (The Transfiguration)
1
And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John His brother,
and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2
And was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun,
and His raiment was white as the light.
3
And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with
him.
4
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to
be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for
thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
5
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and
behold A Voice out of the cloud, which said, This is My beloved Son,
in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him.
6
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were
sore afraid.
7
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
8
And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus
only.
Followers of Jesus, knew Him as the resurrected Messiah.
Matthew
28:8-10 KJV
8
And they departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy;
and did run to bring His disciples word.
9
And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them,
saying, All hail. And they came and held Him by the feet, and
worshiped Him.
10
Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell My brethren that
they go into Galilee, and there shall they see Me.
The real story, Jesus told of the rich man, Lazarus and Abraham, all
recognized each other.
Luke
16:19-31 KJV
19
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine
linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his
gate, full of sores,
21
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's
table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the
angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham
afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send
Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my
tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst
thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is
comforted, and thou art tormented.
26
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed:
so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can
they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send
him to my father's house:
28
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they
also come into this place of torment.
29
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them
hear them.
30
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the
dead, they will repent.
31
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets,
neither will they be persuaded,
though
one rose from the dead.
Knowing that we will know all our loved ones, now in heaven, the
Apostle Paul told the Thessalonian believers....
I Thessalonians 4:13-18 NLT (The Hope of the Resurrection)
13
And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will
happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like
people who have no hope.
14
For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to Life again, we
also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with Him
the believers who have died.
15
We tell you this directly from The Lord: We who are still living when
The Lord returns will not meet Him ahead of those who have died.
16
For The Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a commanding
shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of
God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves.
17
Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the
earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet The Lord in the air.
Then we will be with The Lord forever.
18
So encourage each other with these words.
I
Corinthians 15:51-58 KJV
51
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed,
52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the
trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and
we shall be changed.
53
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must
put on immortality.
54
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this
mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass
the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O
death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord
Jesus Christ.
58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always
abounding in the work of The Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your
labor is not in vain in The Lord.
When
The Roll Is Called Up Yonder
When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time shall be no more,
And the morning breaks, eternal, bright and fair;
When the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore,
And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.
Chorus:
When the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.
On that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall
rise,
And the glory of His resurrection share;
When His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies,
And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.
Let us labor for the Master from the dawn till setting sun,
Let us talk of all His wondrous love and care;
Then when all of life is over, and our work on earth is done,
And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.

John 3:3,16,17,36 KJV
3
Jesus answered and said unto him (Nicodemus),
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God.
16 For God so loved the world, that
He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should
not perish, but have everlasting Life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
36
He that believeth on The Son hath everlasting Life: and he that
believeth not The Son shall not see Life; but the wrath of God
abideth on him.
