II Corinthians 6:2 NLT For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

Bible Questions Answered:
“...in
his talk he said, you can plainly see that people don't care today
about the predicaments of others...”

Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
Our
compassion is showing. Many today, are laboring under the false
delusion, having paid their tithes, they have no other obligations.
Is that
right? No of course that is “not,” right.
Our
tithes belong to the church we attend. Our tithes support our pastor
and his family, and the needs of our church.
But
then there are to be, “free will offerings.”
Giving
And Helping Others:
Deuteronomy
12:6 KJV (Commanded of God's
people.)
And
thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and
your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and
your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and
of your flocks:
Deuteronomy
12:6 NLT
There
you will bring your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes,
your sacred offerings, your offerings to fulfill a vow, your
voluntary offerings, and your offerings of the firstborn animals
of your herds and flocks.
Deuteronomy
16:17 KJV
Every
man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of The Lord
thy God which He hath given thee.
Proverbs
3:9 KJV
Honor
The Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine
increase:
II
Corinthians 8:12 NLT
Whatever
you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to
what you have, not what you don’t have.
Free will offerings, are offerings, given beyond the tithe.
II
Corinthians 9:6,7 KJV
6
Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small
crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.
7
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give
reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who
gives cheerfully.”
Those
Who Do Not Care, Or Give In Love:
(Who is my neighbor?)
Luke
10:25-37 KJV
25
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted Him, saying,
Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26
He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27
And he answering said, Thou shalt love The Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all
thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.
28
And He said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou
shalt live.
29
But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my
neighbor?
30
And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to
Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment,
and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he
saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32
And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on
him, and passed by on the other side.
33
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when
he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34
And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine,
and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took
care of him.
35
And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave
them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever
thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36
Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that
fell among the thieves?
37
And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him,
Go, and do thou likewise.
(Those who give grudgingly.)
Luke
18:1-6 KJV
1
And He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always
to pray, and not to faint;
2
Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither
regarded man:
3
And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying,
Avenge me of mine adversary.
4
And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself,
Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
5
Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her
continual coming she weary me.
6
And The Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
(Those who do not help, and discourage any others who
do.)
Luke
18:35-43 KJV
35
And it came to pass, that as He was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain
blind man sat by the way side begging:
36
And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
37
And they told him, that Jesus Of Nazareth passeth by.
38
And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son Of David, have mercy on me.
39
And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his
peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son Of David, have mercy
on me.
40
And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto Him: and when
he was come near,
He
asked him,
41
Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord,
that I may receive my sight.
42
And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved
thee.
43
And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying
God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
(Good for nothing, helping hands.)
James
2:14-17 KJV
14
What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and
have not works? can faith save him?
15
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16
And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and
filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are
needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
If we see the homeless, and do nothing to help them, the
hungry and thirsty and do not feed them, if we see those who need
clothing, and do nothing to clothe them, if we see the sick, and say,
there's nothing we can do, and if we pass by the prison, saying
that's the Pastor's job, we've paid our tithes, then we are the
heartless ones.
Matthew 25:31-46 KJV
31
When The Son Of Man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels
with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory:
32
And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate
them one from another, as A Shepherd divideth His sheep from the
goats:
33
And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the
left.
34
Then shall The King say unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed
of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world:
35
For I was an hungred, and ye gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave
Me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took Me in:
36
Naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in
prison, and ye came unto Me.
37
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee
an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed
thee?
39
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40
And The King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My
brethren, ye have done it unto Me.
41
Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from Me, ye
cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42
For I was an hungred, and ye gave Me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye
gave Me no drink:
43
I was a stranger, and ye took Me not in: naked, and ye clothed Me
not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited Me not.
44
Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an
hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison,
and did not minister unto thee?
45
Then shall He answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as
ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me.
46
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the
righteous into Life eternal.
John
13:15 KJV
For
I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
Work
For The Night Is Coming
Work, for the night is coming,
Work through the morning hours;
Work while the dew is sparkling,
Work ’mid springing flow’rs.
Work when the day grows brighter,
Work in the glowing sun;
Work, for the night is coming,
When man’s work is done.
Work, for the night is coming,
Work through the sunny noon;
Fill brightest hours with labor,
Rest comes sure and soon.
Give every flying minute
Something to keep in store;
Work, for the night is coming,
When man works no more.
Work, for the night is coming,
Under the sunset skies;
While their bright tints are glowing,
Work, for daylight flies.
Work till the last beam fadeth,
Fadeth to shine no more;
Work, while the night is dark’ning,
When man’s work is o’er.

Ghost.
