Bible Questions Answered:
“...your church would be empty, if you didn't use scare tactics...”\
Howard/ Chicago, Illinois U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Does the church of The Lord Jesus Christ, warn it's people? Absolutely, it would be guilty, before Almighty God, if it didn't!

Illustration:

What Doctor, could maintain his license, if he didn't warn his patients of disease, and how to prevent it?

What transportation department, no matter the country, could exist, if it didn't have highway signs, warning it's drivers of potential danger ahead, including speed, and curves, rain or snow warnings, etc. etc.

What country or home, for that matter could be run successfully if it didn't heed economic down turn indicators?

Are these scare tactics, if so, to save one from disease, accident, economic ruin, and hell itself, bring them on!

Hebrews 10:31 KJV
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of The Living God.
.
Illustration:

This, a “true story,” comes from the turn of the 20th Century. On the East coast, it had rained for days, and then for two days followed a time of thick fog. A passenger steam train, at 60 miles an hour, was winding it's way to Boston. The engineer was a career railroader with some 26 years of service.

At 60 some miles an hour in dense fog, the engineer shouted to his fireman, “What's that ahead?”
A Yard Man is waving us down, something must be wrong with the track ahead!”
Screech went the 8 giant engine wheels, as it slid to a stop, sliding some several hundred feet.

Both engineer and fireman, through the engine light, had seen a yard man, violently waving his arms to get the train to stop.

Now in the cold dark fog they both stood staring out into the distance, after what seemed like some time, sure enough a yard man waving a railroad sign, yelled “thank goodness you stopped. I thought I saw a light coming.” Where have you come from the engineer said, “From the bridge ahead a couples miles back,” he said. “But we saw you waving us down at least 10 miles back” the engineer reported.

That's why I said thank goodness you stopped, I don't see how you could have seen me until it would have been too late,” he said. “Too late, why,” Bill the engineer replied. “Too late, because the bridge has been washed out, that's why” he sighed.

So how did you know to stop,” the old yard man shouted? The engineer and fireman, looked at each other and shook their heads.

Hundreds of people would have been killed, but for a mystery harbinger in the fog.
The mystery was solved that night, but left all with an inexplicable paradox, of how could it be.

It was the fireman who discovered it, a large moth had been hit by the engine's headlight, and being held there, it waved it's wings back and forth, trying too free itself. A warning to the engineer, without doubt, given from the giver of life, Himself.

Warnings:

Deuteronomy 8:19 KJV
And it shall be, if thou do at all forget The Lord thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

Psalm 2:11,12 KJV
11 Serve The Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss The Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.

Psalm 21:8-10 KJV
8 Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.
9 Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: The Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

Ezekiel 3:16-21 NLT (A Watchman)
16 After seven days The Lord gave me a message. He said,
17 “Son of man, I have appointed you as a watchman.... Whenever you receive a message from Me, warn people immediately.
18 If I warn the wicked, saying, ‘You are under the penalty of death,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths.
19 If you warn them and they refuse to repent and keep on sinning, they will die in their sins. But you will have saved yourself because you obeyed Me.
20 “If righteous people turn away from their righteous behavior and ignore the obstacles I put in their way, they will die. And if you do not warn them, they will die in their sins. None of their righteous acts will be remembered, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths.
21 But if you warn righteous people not to sin and they listen to you and do not sin, they will live, and you will have saved yourself, too.”

Ezekiel 33:7-9 NLT (The Watchman’s Message)
7 “Now, son of man, I am making you a watchman for the people... Therefore, listen to what I say and warn them for Me.
8 If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths.
9 But if you warn them to repent and they don’t repent, they will die in their sins, but you will have saved yourself.

Matthew 10:32,33 KJV

Luke 12:8-10 KJV
8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess Me before men, him shall The Son Of Man also confess before the angels of God:
9 But he that denieth Me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
10 And whosoever shall speak a word against The Son Of Man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against The Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

Romans 6:23 KJV
For the wages of sin is death; but the Gift Of God is eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

I Corinthians 6:9,10 NLT
9 Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality,
10 or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God.

Galatians 1:7,8 KJV
7 "...there be some that trouble you, and would pervert The Gospel Of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Colossians 2:8 KJV
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Prayer:

II Thessalonians 1:7-10 KJV
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when The Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of The Lord, and from the glory of His power;

Salvation Prayer

Dear Lord, be merciful to me a sinner. I confess and forsake my sins, and ask you to forgive me, and make me a child of God, for you have said, “...whosoever shall call on the name of The Lord shall be saved.” Acts 2:21 KJV

Thank you for dying for me, taking my place in judgment, that I might be pardoned. I take you as the Savior, and Lord (Master) of my life. Help me to read your word, confess you, and live for you.
Amen
