Bible Questions Answered:
“Why
doesn't God sentence all the wicked?...”
William/
Nottingham, England United Kingdom
Bible Answer:
Bible Texts:
All the
wicked have been sentenced, we all have been found guilty of sin, and
worthy of death.
Ezekiel 18:4 KJV
Behold,
all souls are Mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of
the son is Mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Romans
3:23 KJV
For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 6:23 KJV
For
the wages of sin is death...”
Galatians 3:22 KJV
But
the scripture hath concluded all under sin...”
Justice,
demands that our judgment be implemented! So why doesn't God carry
out our sentence?
II Peter 3:9 KJV
The
Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count
slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Justice:
Recently
a man in prison, was exonerated from all wrong doing, because of new
DNA testing which conclusively proved that he could not have been
involved in a murder, and consequently another individual
now falls under great suspicion as being the real culprit.
The
governor has stated that the man will be reimbursed by the state for
three years of false imprisonment.

We may
well pray for mercy, but certainly never for justice, for if justice
were to prevail, for us, there would be no hope.
I
Samuel 6:20 KJV
"...
Who is able to stand before this Holy Lord God?..."
Psalm
99:9 KJV
Exalt
The Lord our God, and worship at His Holy Hill; for The Lord our God
is Holy.
Isaiah
6:2-5 KJV
2
Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he
covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain
he did fly.
3
And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, Holy, Holy, is
The
Lord Of Hosts: the whole earth is full of His glory.
4
And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and
the house was filled with smoke.
5
Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of
unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips:
for mine eyes have seen The King, The Lord Of Hosts.
Habakkuk
1:13 KJV
Thou
art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on
iniquity..."
Hebrews
12:29
For
our God is a consuming fire.
For mankind there would be no hope, except that our Living God is a
God of love, and He has made a way of reconciliation!
II Corinthians 5:21 NLT (Propitiation)
For
God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so
that we could be made right with God through Christ.
John
3:14-18 KJV
14
"...even so must The Son Of Man be lifted up:
15
That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal
Life.
16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
Life.
17
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but
that the world through Him might be saved.
18
He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not
is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of The
Only Begotten Son Of God.
Galatians
3:22 KJV
But
the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith
of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
Ephesians
2:8,9 KJV
8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is The Gift Of God:
9
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Justice has been forever satisfied in the sacrificial death of The
Lord Jesus, in taking our place in judgment.
Vicarious
Atonement:
God The Father accepted the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, as a
substitution. Jesus Christ, God's Son, died to take mankinds place
in judgment, the sinless, for the sinful. Mankinds only
salvation, is through repentance of sin, and faith, in the finished
work of The Savior.
Isaiah
53:5,6 NLT
5
But He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was
beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
6
All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths
to follow our own. Yet The Lord laid on Him the sins of us all.
II
Corinthians 5:21 NLT
For
God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so
that we could be made right with God through Christ.
Galatians
3:13 KJV
Christ
hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for
us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Hebrews
2:9 NLT
What
we do see is Jesus, who for a little while was given a position “a
little lower than the angels”; and because He suffered death for
us, He is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s
grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.
I
Peter 1:18-21 KJV
18
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible
things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by
tradition from your fathers;
19
But with The Precious Blood Of Christ, as of A Lamb Without Blemish
And Without Spot:
20
Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but
was manifest in these last times for you,
21
Who by Him do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and
gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
I
Peter 2:24 KJV
Who
His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we,
being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes
ye were healed.
I
Peter 3:18 KJV
Christ
suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but He died
for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical
death, but He was raised to Life in The Spirit.
Wounded
For Me
Wounded for me, wounded for me,
There on the cross He was wounded for me;
Gone my transgressions, and now I am free,
All because Jesus was wounded for me.
Dying for me, dying for me,
There on the cross He was dying for me;
Now in His death my redemption I see,
All because Jesus was dying for me.
Risen for me, risen for me,
Up from the grave He has risen for me;
Now evermore from death’s sting I am free,
All because Jesus has risen for me.
Living for me, living for me,
Up in the skies He is living for me;
Daily He’s pleading and praying for me,
All because Jesus is living for me.
Coming for me, coming for me,
One day to earth He is coming for me;
Then with what joy His dear face I shall see,
Oh, how I praise Him—He’s coming for me!

He that believeth on Me hath everlasting Life.
