Bible Questions Answered:
“I've been trough two accidents in one year, and have pain  in my leg. Does God know and care if we suffer?....”
Rachel/  Pearland, Texas  U.S.A.

Bible Answer:

Bible Texts:

Why the righteous suffer, has been a much written about subject for many many years.  When we are with The Lord one day we will know the answer.

I Corinthians 13:12 KJV
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Our Lord, well  understands sorrows and  grief.

Isaiah 53:3 NLT
He was despised and rejected— A Man Of Sorrows, Acquainted With Deepest Grief.
We turned our backs on Him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.

God's Knowledge:

Job 31:4 KJV
Doth not He see my ways, and count all my steps?

Job 34:21 KJV
For His eyes are upon the ways of man, and He seeth all His goings.

Psalm 139:4-6 KJV
4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

Psalm 147:5 KJV
Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite.

Isaiah 40:28 KJV
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the Everlasting God, The LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding.
The story of Job:

Job 1:9- 12 NLT
9 Satan replied to The Lord, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God.
10 You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is!
11 But reach out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!”
12 “All right, you may test him,” The Lord said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left The Lord’s presence.

Job 2:3-7 NLT
3 Then The Lord asked Satan, “Have you noticed My servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil. And he has maintained his integrity, even though you urged Me to harm him without cause.”
4 Satan replied to The Lord, “Skin for skin! A man will give up everything he has to save his life.
5 But reach out and take away his health, and he will surely curse you to your face!”
6 “All right, do with him as you please,” The Lord said to Satan. “But spare his life.”
7 So Satan left The Lord’s presence, and he struck Job with terrible boils from head to foot.

Job lost his children, his possessions and his health, but not his faith in The Living God!
The enemy could not touch Job, without God's approval.

So, why then do the righteous suffer? We may never know all the reasons, until we are with The Lord.

I Peter 1:3-7 KJV
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations (trials):
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Our life's fiery trial, if we remain faithful, will one day bring “praise and honor and glory,” to The King of kings and Lord of lords.

Zechariah 13:9 KJV
And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on My name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is My people: and they shall say, The Lord is My God.

Prayer:

Colossians 1:11,12 NLT
11 We also pray that you will be strengthened with all His glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy,
12 always thanking The Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to His people, who live in the light.

Hebrews `13:5 KJV
"...for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

I Peter 5:7 KJV
Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.
