Bible Lesson: Conversations With
Jesus: Judgment Day.
Bible Text:
Judgment
Day At Our Lord's Second Coming:
Matthew
25:31-46 KJV
When
The Son Of Man shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with
Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory:
32
And before Him shall be gathered all nations; and He shall separate
them one from another, as A Shepherd divideth His sheep from the
goats:
33
And He shall set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the
left.
34
Then shall The King say unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed
of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world:
35
For I was an hungered and ye gave Me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave
Me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took Me in:
36
Naked, and ye clothed Me: I was sick, and ye visited Me: I was in
prison, and ye came unto Me.
37
then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee
an hungered, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed
thee?
39
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40
And The King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My
brethren, ye have done it unto Me.
41
Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from Me, ye
cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42
For I was an hungered, and ye gave Me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye
gave Me no drink.
43 I
was a stranger, and ye took Me not in: naked, and ye clothed Me not:
sick, and in prison, and ye visited Me not.
44
Then shall they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee and
hungered , or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or athirst, or a
stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto
thee?
45
Then shall He answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as
ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me.
46
And these shall go away Into everlasting punishment: but the
righteous into Life eternal.
Judgment:
II
Peter 2:9 KJV
The
Lord knoweth how to deliver the Godly out of temptation, and to
reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
II
Peter 3:7 KJV
But
the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept
in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and
perdition of ungodly men.
I
John 4:17 KJV
Herein
is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of
judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world.
Jude
1:14 KJV
14
Behold, The Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints,
15
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly
among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly
committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have
spoken against Him.
Judgment
Day, Judge:
John
5:22 KJV
For
The Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto The
Son:
Acts
10:42 KJV
Because
He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in
righteousness by that Man whom He hath ordained: whereof He hath
given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the
dead.
Romans
2:16 KJV
In
the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ
according to my Gospel.
Romans
14:10 KJV
But
why dost thou judge thy brother? Or why dost thou set at nought thy
brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
II
Timothy 4:1 KJV
I
charge thee therefore before God, and The Lord Jesus Christ, who
shall Judge the quick and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom.
Great
White Throne Judgment:
Revelation
20:11-15 KJV
11
And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose
face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place
for them.
12
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books
were opened: and another book was opened, which is The Book Of Life:
and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in
the books, according to their works.
13
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every
man according to their works.
14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the
second death.
15
And whosoever was not found written in The Book Of Life was cast into
the lake of fire.
Prayer:
Hebrew
9:27 KJV
And
as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
